  1. A run IO in Swift and an endurance discount IO in Sprint is all you need, in my opinion. Before taking a travel power, Athletic run gets me where I need to go, but it gets turned off before entering a mission door. By endgame, I have extra movement speed bonuses from sets and can turn Sprint off and still be zippy. I'll keep Sprint on if teaming because too may people aren't happy unless they're breaking the sound barrier in an office building, but solo I just get along fine as is unless it's a big open map. Then, I'm flying to objectives so it becomes a moot point.
  2. I've got friends that I co op console game with and have for over a decade now. One of our favorite franchises to play co op is the Borderlands one. Many, many Ultimate Vault Hunter Levels have been had. "Try not to die!" is one of my favorite catchphrases to use irl. That being said: this trailer looked like ass on ass. Bad casting (most are too old, Tiny Tina's actress has the delivery of a dead bird), Jack Black sounds horrible as Claptrap and that writing is...well, it's recent Gearbox level horrible.
  3. That's very cool! Now, back to the smartass answers.
  4. I ran Vahz's lab about a month ago, so that stuff was fairly fresh in my head, but I was also lost after a bit in this one. I think part of the problem was pacing. Everything zipped by so fast I didn't have time to really take things in before being shunted somewhere else. Is this taking place before the Galaxy City tutorial, during or after? I kinda felt like it was in the beginning of the invasion, but wasn't fully sure. When the mission ended and that was that, I was left thinking "Already?". I'll play it a few more times to see if it clicks. I liked all the other Freaklok stuff and would like to see and fully understand the ending of that story arc. I did enjoy the idea of
  5. Yep, a gold badge sounds like the Loyalist icon.
  6. First thing I did (after updating maps and mids) was run the Piecemeal story. Interesting take on what's happening with Galaxy if a little too fast paced.
  7. Came in hoping to see that the update turned all the Wentworths upside down, ingame. Leaving very disappointed.
  8. Yep, it's been the tail end of my badge hunting circuit with any new hero I make. I run others through it from time to time, always with a fresh outta the tutorial hero.
  9. Side note: if you go through the portal to Recluse's Victory (tech contact room down the stairs of City Hall), you get the badge and Oro portal because that counts as time travel.
  10. Dear New Player, The usual way to earn influence from fellow heroes is to sit under the Atlas statue and use the "panhandle" emote while asking in Broadcast for "spare influence". Sincerely, Me
  11. And Yomo has enough influence to buy all the lemons in Paragon, Rogue Isles and Praetoria. I wouldn't take the threat lightly.
  12. And now I can only look at the word "farma" and put it into Snow's song "Informer". Infarma, you no say Hashby me AE me I'll go doorsitA licky Boom Boom Town.

(Ok, look...it doesn't matter who I am. My Hero ID has already been approved AND I'm playing by your rules and starting at the bottom.) How did you access this file? (If you knew who I really was, you'd have to disappear, so we can dispense with the formalities. Capiche?) Final notes: Hero codenamed Epsilon Omega: Approved. (Damn right I am) Glimmer Glare: Energy Melee/Energy Armor Scrapper When everyone else in your family's a scientist of some sort and you're the one with the Liberal Arts degrees, holidays can get...interesting. "Oh, I'm working for a top secret project for Crey." "Yes, well I'm head engineer at Portal Corp." "Very nice, but let me know when Longbow has you heading up their R&D division." Then there's me and my work at the theater in Galaxy City. Snoozefest to them...until that day. I was in my apartment when it happened: some sort of attack from outer space. Next thing I know, my building's coming down, something explodes, I see a light (no, not that one) and pass out. Turns out the explosion was a combination of the aliens, a couple energy based heroes and a gas line. All I know is I woke up, unharmed and with superpowers. Now, I hang with superheroes like the Phalanx and save the day on the regular. I'm the talk of the family! Take that, Darlene!
  14. Correct, it goes to the person's global account which is across all servers.
  15. I would like to change my vote to Praetoria at +4/+8 as a FF/Archery defender. Thank you.
  16. Start in Praetoria at +4/+8 (or whatever that max setup is).
  17. At this point, I think we're just
  18. I turn General off asap and my gaming experience is better for it. If other people want to be rude, nasty, cruel, bigoted, etc....well, they're more than welcome to. Doesn't mean I have to see it. Remove and move on, not worth my energy to engage.
