Still looking for evidence of Perma-hold? My main is a Mind/Psi/Mace. We can team up on a shard. You set up the AV mission in AE or something (51 or higher since I am Incarnate). I will solo them. Notes: Some AVs can't really be held (Avatar of Hamidon and Lord Recluse come to mind) GMs have double the hold protection of AVs, so that's not the same conversation Would love to avoid Honoree, Marauder, or other insane regen/resistance guys. Though they can be solo'd, it is super boring. Good examples are Serafina, Ghost Widow, or Positron. Bring your Power Analyzer.

Qualifications: 50 Fire/Dev Blaster (Vet 100-something) Style of Play: Hover Blasting Notes: I do not use mines, bombs, or pets. Took Devices for the defense/stealth/targeting drone. Caltrops - Yes. Positional defense. Drop in front of you and open fire! Drop it in melee range to reduce the attack rate of enemies. Or combine with Web Grenade (immobilize) on AV to stack DPS. Taser - Maybe. Basically a ranged melee attack. Toebombers may like it. I spend the slots elsewhere. Smoke Bomb - YES. Autohit 5% -ToHit. Also reduces perception, so mobs don’t notice the nuke animation (Inferno!!!). Great for non-softcappers, and awesome debuff for your melee teammates. Time Bomb - NO. Gun Drone - Maybe. Good for slot bonuses, and DPS/aggro control is good for soloing. I focused on primary attacks instead. Hope this helps!

Fire/Dev [Los Infiernos on Reunion] BUILD -ST focus & Fireball -No drones or mines … only smesh! -Mace or Cold mastery -Soft SLENR with 40% FCMA -Built for speed mowing through spread out bosses ATTACK -Prep mob with smoke bomb -Aim+BU+Inferno -Fireball -Drop Caltrops and hover above them out of melee range -ST kill bosses and remaining LTs -Toxic Web Grenade any flying dangers -Otra vez OTHER STUFF -Very good pvp/arena if you like that sorta thing -Solo most TFs with relative ease -Perma 15% stealth, so clickies and sniping are easier -Great regen and insane recovery -Positional control with web grenade and caltrops can be bolstered by taking the web grenade AoE in Mace (I don’t)

That Nemesis stat is pretty strange. I mow through them with Psi damage (Mind/Psi Dom & Mind/Dark Troller). Didn't see it on the spreadsheet, but are all of the abovementioned resists auto, or are some toggles?

I like to set -1x8 in DA missions and just lay waste to everything at high speed. Yay.

Agreed on adding additional options. As a geological era myself, I can vouch that there are many types, colors, etc., of granite. -

Fair point! Maybe a "specification" pathway option like VEATs use? Both Crossbow and Archery use basic archery tactics, etc. -

Darkneblade, Cool suggestion! From my (limited) perspective, these powers seem somewhat similar to Archery. What if the powersets Archery & Crossbow were merged, and the weapon style was an option in costume, similar to Mace or Broadsword? -
Agreed, there is a lot of low-hanging improvement fruit in Mind. Some ideas (not necessary to do them all). Mass Hypnosis: add -Perception component (as if the mob just woke up and is groggy) Telekinesis: Tater's Mass Levitate idea is really fun. A PBAoE in the set would synergize well with /Psionic for Dominators and /Dark for Controllers Total Domination: Recharge 120 seconds Terrify: Put the -ToHit back in Mass Confusion: Recharge 120 seconds Secondarily: Let Plant keep Seeds of Confusion, but match the recharge, at least, to 120s. Not wanting to nerf them, but agreed that T9 should not be outdone by a T...not 9.

Hey, Reunion! I am hiring supers who are interested in acquiring the hard-to-organize Pentad and Tournament Victor arena badges. I intend to run both of events consecutively, beginning with Pentad. We will meet in Pocket D at a day/time TBD in this thread. You can also reach me in-game @Cenozoic Please reply with your best day & time (UTC) - these badges can be a bummer to coordinate so let's work together Pentad Victor This is a 5v5 arena match which awards the Pentad Victor badge to the winning team. This one takes about 30 minutes from creation to last set of badges. We will need at least 7 supers. Meet in Pocket D a the arena terminals Communication will be via Broadcast (both Pocket D and during arena matches) Cenozoic will set up Custom Pentad match in the Coliseum Blue Team will win each time (I will set up the teams to ensure each of us gets the badge) Red Team will turn off all toggles and not fight back (grab a drink when you zone into the Coliseum and enjoy the show) There will be 2 total Pentad matches After the Pentad, we will start the Swiss Draw Tournament Victor (Swiss Draw) This is a single-elimination tournament, which requires a pretty big time commitment. We will need 5 supers (if you can bring an additional family or friend account, that will save a lot of time if they don't need or want the badge). With 8 supers, there will be three rounds in the tournament. For each 3-round tournament, there will be only one "designated winner" per tournament. Each tournament winner will receive the Tournament Victor badge. Each tournament will look like this: Round #1 - four random 1v1 matches will be created by the arena system. The "designated winner" should kill the designated loser during the match. The other three matches can be quit or fought. Designated Loser will not toggle, buff, stealth, or otherwise evade the Designated Winner If the Designated Winner quits, fails, or bugs, then Cenozoic will tag another badger as "Designated Winner" Round #2 - two random 1v1 matches will be created by the arena system. Designated Winner should win again (same player). To prevent bugs, must be at least 1-0 in kills. Loser v. Loser match should be quit to save time. Winner does not matter. Rounds #3 - Final 1v1 matchup Designated Winner must win again (at least 1-0 in kills) REPEAT until all badges are Designated Winner BASIC RULES Stay in Pocket D at the arena terminals (unless alting) Communication will be via Broadcast (both Pocket D and during arena matches) Cenozoic will set up the Swiss Draw matches as Cage map events Player #2 will be the "designated winner" - DO NOT ATTACK THIS PLAYER at all during the tournament The amount of badgers = the amount of "tournaments" that we will run Each tournament can take up to 40 minutes, so more family/friend account support, the faster it will go. Much appreciated! I am also in support of going live before the SSA2 spawn side fix, as most can quickly Pocket D & swap alignments, or remain Rogue/Vigilante. In addition, could also trigger an event on each side of the morality divide for each SSA2 completion. Thanks again!

Yes!!! I do love the zone invasions. A great parallel could be Rikti Raid, where Shard Ships drop Rularuu (maybe even Reflections) and you have to do certain tasks before a GM version of Ruladak or Lanaru or another Aspect of Ruluaruu spawns. I miss the days when Lanaru was horrifying to solo - Imagine his storm powers as a GM :D:D:D:D Badge Note - there could be a badge for defeating all seven aspects during these Shard Raids. "The Ethereal Emperor" Incarnate Trial COH Homecoming can finally introduce a one-off trial to defeat the seven aspects of Rularuu (yes, even Faathim): Aloore the Watcher - A sentinel-only zone ending with AV Aloore Grand Inquisitor - Elite Boss Sentinels Chularn the Slave Lord - A wisp-only zone ending with AV Chularn Wisp Tyrant - Elite Boss Wisps Faathim the Furious - A "Pain Domination" version of this AV who has been twisted by the CoT Arch-Mages (CoT) - Elite Bosses with purple triangles and 95% damage resistances, like their Boss counterparts in the Saga of Faathim TF Kuularth the Scavenger - A natterling AV; should be considerably weaker than the other Rularuu AVs for thematic purposes Tank Natterling - Bosses with some serious poison-style debuffs Lanaru the Mad - A storm elemental zone ending with AV Lanaru Plasma Elemental - Elite Boss elementals (negative energy mostly) Ruladak the Strong - A brute-only zone with incarnate version of same AV Legendary Brute - EBs (shoutout to the 17th anniversary) Uuralur the Mirror - A reflections-only zone with Uuralur AV Instead of standard EBs, Uuralur will spawn EB simulacrums of whoever is in the Trial (shoutout to Comic Con fire farm and Posi 1) This AV, I think, is the most important to create, as it represents an "equal and opposite force" to the intrusion by Portal Corp FINAL BOSS Rularuu will be listed as a "Monstrosity" similar to Hamidon, with the same insane resistance and also defensive capabilities. Lore: You are fighting a prepared Rularuu IN THE SHADOW SHARD, so he is going to be a lot stronger than the Cathedral of Pain Rularuu the Ravager will spawn all of the Soldiers of Rularuu, including reflections and simulacrums, during the fight Rularuu will also "draw in" Shard Ships, which are chunks of nearby floating islands which explode for HUGE damage and also buff enemy spawns, like a Warburg nuke. Finally, Rularuu will "fragment" into the seven AVs when defeated. Maybe they shouldn't be able to spawn other stuff? I am thinking this final boss should be ridiculous, like Marcus Cole / Tyrant in the Magisterium. Apologies for the rant. Anyway, I think the Shadow Shard is a beautiful, interesting place, and I hope that our collective dialogue is able to elevate its importance to enhance the CoH Homecoming experience. Founder's Falls Safeguard Mission - PPD Jailbreak Exit Geometry Bug While exiting PPD office, I fell through the map and into the below aether. I repeated this several times and found that this only occurred when Hover was active. I have seen this posted previously by Wavicle and others --- I wanted to emphasize how I was able to successfully retest no issue (Hover off) and issue (Hover on). Feedback greatly appreciated.
