  3. Mind is mostly high-accuracy ST and wide TAoEs, so it synergizes quite well in perma-Dom mode. Keep in mind that most of these attacks are only typed Psionic, so you have an accuracy advantage there, as well, which offsets the S/L/M defenses of your melee opponents. Mesmerize - Automatic de-toggler and ST chain filler with insane sleep time. You can solo multiple AVs at once with this power. Levitate - Skippable on Doms (great for controllers though) Dominate - Yes. Confuse - Yes. Confuse the Immunes Surgeon before you jump in for them good heals. Mass Hypnosis - In melee, acts as pseudo-PBAoE. Shut down a mob if things get out of hand, or just sleep them beforehand and ST kill the lot. Telekinesis - Skippable Total Domination - Another pseudo-PBAoE. Alternate this with Mass Confusion to save yourself in nasty mobs Terrify - Skippable unless you are on teams that can handle your aggro. Cone is fun and can proc damage well, but otherwise not useful for melee-oriented toon. Mass Confusion - Yet another pseudo-PBAoE. Alternate with Total Domination to save yourself in nasty mobs. Also highly entertaining.
  4. Yup. 6-slot CP in Confuse and 6-Slot Ascendency (not Superior) in Mass Confusion. Mass Hypnosis gets FH x 5 for the recharge bonus and placate (not the most helpful, but procs well).

It is an immediate dive into the thought mechanics of our game's deepest secret: Why does a shattered deity occupy a large portion of the CoH universe with precious little explanation?   6. Bug Report Team, Hello! While respeccing last night, I had Mystic Flight active. After the respec, I was still flying, although no powers were active (I respecced out of Mystic Flight). I was able to fly at normal speed, without air control, while using powers and fighting. This ghost flight cost no endurance. Activating another flight power canceled this effect. Thanks for your help, and thanks to GM Impervium for pointing me this way from in-game petition.
  7. Hello, Supers! I am a longtime player jumping into badging, and I need help with a few badge questions regarding AE missions: Does AE give credit for defeat badges? Does AE give credit for mez badges (60-minute specifically)? Any other badge-related wisdom the team can share as it relates to AE? Thanks for your help, looking forward to some guidance!

  9. I appreciate your response, Dan, and I agree with your sentiment. I am not implying that there is an easy path to recalibrating PvP and undoing years of mechanics changes, not to mention the new balancing act. As one of the old PvP community members, I am also acutely aware of the size disparity between PvE and PvP bases. I even hosted a farewell PvP session in RV right before i13 launched. I think CoX lost a lot of soul that December. I am stating that I would both appreciate and help fund such a change, including the subsequent rebalancing and testing. It is my very strong opinion that i13 PvP was the single worst gameplay change in CoX, and by a large margin. I do not argue the many other equally valuable opinions. I hope that this more clearly demonstrates my position.
  10. General Follow-up: Ranged AV attacks are shockingly long. Much of the engagement range (60-100 feet) was well within striking distance of the AVs that were range debuffed -60% (Nosferatu, Mother Mayhem, Chimera, et al). In addition to that, a debuffed Marauder hit me with Hurl (on your exception list) from over 100 feet away; it was pretty hilarious.

  12. Thanks! I didn't see range as one of the attributes that I can see while watching data of AVs - does anyone know of a way to observe the range of individual AVs?
  13. Does anyone have data on the attack range values for AVs / Monsters / GMs? I am very interested in this mechanic and have found that our community could benefit from a deeper conversation and range debuffing. Specifically, I would like to use this information to better combat AVs and monsters. Looks like the powers that debuff range are some AT taunts and hurricane. Please feel free to group think this with me, and any replies are greatly appreciated. 1) Do AVs have a scaled range for attacks? (i.e. does Gloom scale +100% from 80-feet to 160-feet, for AVs) 2) Do AVs have any range debuff resistance? (i.e. part of purple triangles, or similar to Blaster's /EM Boost Range) 3) Are there any non-melee attacks that ignore range debuffing? (i.e. does Nightfall ignore -range because of some cone property) 4) Does -Range affect non-combat abilities, such as Teleport and teammate buffs? 5) Does anyone have field experience in testing range debuffs with Taunt and Hurricane? Pre-i13 PvP PROS -Powers work as designed -Sorcery pool can help with those who need res/mez mitigation -I could finally dust off Roz (Mind/Storm) -Pre-i13 is an outstanding default from which to make changes CONS -Lot of work for the dev team. I will help in any way possible if pre-i13 is the goal.
