Yes, it's a competitive game. I'm normally not a fan of that stuff, he'll I don't even do the PvP here. But apparently, it's kind of like Fortnite, but with Marvel characters. I was planning on getting it for me and my kids, as it's free to play. I was just curious if someone here was playing, so I could ask some questions helping me understand things. My PTSD meds make me, slower, than I used to be, to put it nicely. I have to compare things to other things sometimes to fully comprehend them.

Ok, thanks for that, this helps me Narrow things down more. I have a 50 Em/Rad Armor Scrapper already, so I don't want to do the inverse. I have multiples of /Sr as Scrapper and Brutes. So I think I have it narrowed down to Bio/, Elec/, and Fire. This will probably never be a main tank, and I may use him for AV hunting on Red Side. I've done the Blue Side ones so many times I'm sick of even seeing their names, lol.

I am going to roll up a Tank, and need some recommendations. I know he will be Energy Melee, as I like dealing good damage, but not sure which armor would be best to pair it with. Bio and Shield are the only ones I can think of that can boost your damage directly without relying on a damage Aura. Am I missing anything obvious? Please, educate me.

Unfortunately, do to issues in Family Court, I will not have the extra free time I was planning on, and will not be able to join you all. The good news is that I get more Father Son time. Maybe next weekend.

I will double check. I'm just coming back after a year. BTW, divorce sucks, lol. I was checking, because I know Stone Armor and Melee are both powersets I've wanted to play since Regen was beaten up with the Nerf Bat, lol. But there was always something that prevented it. Whether it was non stacking armors, or Granite penalties. I just know that there were still things with minimal effects that still tweaked me for whatever reason. Speaking of which, I'm head to the Tanker or the Controller subforums. -

It's not really an issue. I haven't done it to often enough on the last year to know exactly what to do. I just forgot. I'm not an idiot though, and I just needed a quick reminder. Also, I know it's difficult to translate sarcasm and deadpan humor in text format. The last hurdle was that I'm at my 44th B-Day party and had a cpl of drinks. Thanks for understanding.

Ok, it has been a long time for me, lol. How would I physically, on my computer, put my name on the list. Please explain it like you're talking to a novel techie on their first day of training, lol. I'll try to get a Contoller rolled up and ready. It would be a Ill/Pain Dom. It's speaking to me for some reason, lol. P.s. I have never, in 20 years managed to get a Controller past level 20. Awesome, thanks for the build. I'm just going to see what the basics of the power choices just to begin with. I'll eventually get to the point of full basic IO sets (no Purps, Winter-O's, or PvPs)

I just responded in another thread to someone, and thought it was a good enough idea to share here. The original udea was getting tips for door mussions while collecting badges. Here was my response the following: Ooh, and at the end, it sends you to a door Mish where you play the last mission or two, and gives an increase to the accolades or you're rewarded with a new one that gives an additional bonus of the same type. Like for instance, the ones that add 10% just gets 2% more, but whichever one adds 5% will give between 7-10%. Or just a different power all together! Heartburn! Grants 12% cold resistance. Coldhearted! Grants 8% fire resistance. Hardy! Grants 10% DDR. That would encourage more build diversity, will pursuing goals. Like, I hate grinding for purples and the Winter O's. Please, discuss.

Hey guys, In another thread and I saw posted there numbers for the resistance levels after softcapping Def. I figured with the addition of it's heal it would be interesting to try. Add in the regen incarnate and you essentially have a ghetto Recontruction/Dullpain duo in top of good softcappable defense, good resistances, good damage! What I'm struggling with is which primary to choose because SS/ or WM/ as both could be considered "Strong and Pretty". I played SS/SR back in the days of live, and I really enjoyed it. That was before the Incarnate system though. Which one would you choose, and why? Please show all work, or you will recieve a failing grade.

Hi all! Tldr: This will be crossposted in the Suggestions/Ideas section. I've been gone awhile, and before I go to the Suggestions/Ideas section of the forums, I wanted to check and see if there has been any mention by anyone in an official capacity about attacks and animations. For example, can we get rid of the stone effects for the attacks, except of course for the stone mallet type attacks? I'd love to play it, but I hate the stone effect on the fists though. Exact same thing Stone Armor. I really want to play it, but I really don't want to, simple because there's stone on my characters body. Of course I wouldn't expect a all done at once. But maybe one armor set or attack set per issue or page? It would give an extra choice for Brutes, Controllers, Dominators, Scrappers, Sentinels, Stalkers, and Tankers. Not sure about the other powersets. Edited to add: I don't like Discord, so if anyone that does could check in that area and report back, It'd be appreciated.

Hiya all. My dedicated weekly group has finally decided we will be starting next weekend. I have a character concept that calls for a Scarlet Spider/Red hood vibe. I was originally thinking of doing this as an Elec Melee, but decided I would run that as a separate toon, for when I just want to solo. So, with the introductions out of the way, here's the main question. Which armor set would you choose between /EA, /SR, or /Nin? Keep in mind that this isn't an unlimited budget build. I won't have any purples or winter sets most likely, and I'm fine with using pool/epics and Incarnate powers to shore up short comings of the armor itself.

Hi all, I'm thinking of playing a Stalker for the first time. I will be playing with a dedicated group, all I know is that we will have a Brute. I am torn between Street Justice and Electric Melee. This will not be an unlimited budget build. I am thinking Electric Melee because it is the only version with good ST damage. I also like the thought of Street Justice because of character concept, but I'm not sure whether or not the combo system is something I could tolerate. How complicated is the combo system, or do I even need to worry about it?
