  1. you said what many are thinking. I really dont care what the optimum builds are and why such and such needs to be nerfed. I play what is fun and the day that changes is the day I quit the game.

  3. That sucks. an all Illusionist ITF was a blast. we confused rommy. It wasnt fast or anything like that. fun detected, fun removed.
  4. you havent explained why a 10 knockback protect is needed
  5. If the change has zero impact, why was it changed? do the devs randomly change things that arent part of the game? If people have noticed it it DOES have impact to some people. A bunch of the changes in this patch made the game less fun for some players. If the change is so inconsequential, why are you making it? what purpose is doubling mob regeneration for? That change will be back, they said it just needs more work. when it comes back, it will be noticed.
  6. so you are ok with lowering tanks and brutes to 4 points? they wouldnt notice the difference. The power being nerfed is a high tier long recharge power. There was zero reason that this was a problem. or can you articulate why it was a problem rather than gaslighting us that it is inconsequential?

  9. It also does absolutely no good for the game as a whole. we dont need lower population so that a few dont like their purity test challenged
  10. we have seen that happen in this game before and brutes were not kneecapped to their current position
  11. Is the change to the rest of the game worth it to stop this subgroup? Will we see tanks become mostly a memory for 2 or 3 years with no reaction? who benefits from this "balancing"? will it make the game better?
  12. Why will anyone want to bring a tanker after this? poor damage and less ability to hold agro? a buff to brutes to bring them to par with tanks would be a resounding win. shanking tanks is not a win in any sense of the word.
  13. Has anyone tried a beta tank teamed with a couple of stacked blasters? can the tank hold agro? try this at 30, 40 and 50? How will reduced damage effect agro control? I dont have a testing buddy so I cant do this. if someone has already done this, what were the results?

  15. they already HAVE regeneration. what does doubling it change? Its not like they never had it. they didnt add regeneration, they doubled it.
  16. if they are so negligible, why are you doing them? does this change add anything of value to the game? Does this somehow add any balance to the game?
  17. I think there is no feedback thread because they have no actual good reason for doing it. what is the point? The high damage lvl 50s fully pimped out wont notice. People leveling defenders and the like will be even more handicapped. It is a change just to suit the dev making it for his private playground.
  18. I dont get the idea of doubling critter recovery rate. all it brings is tedium.I guess the moar harder folks like that so we are stuck with it. Its doesnt make the game harder, just tedious.
  19. What good are defenders? bad damage compared to corruptors and defender buffs are not that much better. Defender inherent isnt as good also.

  21. Part of the problem is all they care about is nuking procs. They would do a universal proc nerf if they didnt think it would crater the game. They have said they have intentions of de procing the game. what is the point of hammering tanks? Is this all about 54x8 performance? At least 1/2 of the IO sets are garbage that are used to convert to something useful. If they were modified to provide some special effects or better bonuses, people would diversify and use them. Maybe use some of the low level ones to make lower levels worth using IOs.
  22. The question should be asked...do these changes make the game(or the set) more fun? I would argue no.
  23. This is the problem balancing around 50 incarnate IO builds.
