Focused Feedback: High-Level Council Revamp
ivanhedgehog replied to The Curator's topic in [Open Beta] Focused Feedback
why would you do this at lower levels? there are plenty of harder enemy groups, go fight them if you want that. Leave something for players using so's. Dont change the whole game just to suit the moar harder folks. -

Focused Feedback: High-Level Council Revamp
ivanhedgehog replied to The Curator's topic in [Open Beta] Focused Feedback
please tell me what setting reverts all the changes. these changes affect the base identity of the group. They take away a group that was the basis for the less challenging game play. it is possible to add, without taking away -
Focused Feedback: High-Level Council Revamp

I would much rather seen a new faction and leave council for people that like boring. People that like the game they played for all those year that had boring parts going away. why does giving a few challenge take away from those that like the game as it is? add, dont take away -
Focused Feedback: High-Level Council Revamp
ivanhedgehog replied to The Curator's topic in [Open Beta] Focused Feedback
It seems that there is never a place for discussion about whether a change is needed or not. Its always just discussing the fine tuning of the changes. The grownups have decided what shall be and shut up and know your place. -

The council had an identity. now they are freakshow junior. much rather have new sets than boost every ones base difficulty. -

If they are feeling useless fighting council....maybe fight arachnos???????It isnt hard to give yourself difficulty in this game. This is just imposing it on everyone because of "git gud" It is an arbitrary change to make a small group happy. if the changes "arent noticable" revert them and no one will notice. will the rewards for council improve? challenge vs reward? -
Sigh...this is why we can't have nice things.
ivanhedgehog replied to Skyhawke's topic in General Discussion
If everyone markets like this...no one will make money. the supply would skyrocket and there would be no demand. The more sellers there are, the less buyers there are. -

ivanhedgehog replied to Skyhawke's topic in General Discussion
Are we playing city of stockbrokers or city of heroes? With the devs bumping up enemy difficulties, more people will have to start enhancing toons at lower levels. The devs could have a weekly restock of all salvage to keep the costs of just salvage down. Let the market for everything else go, but manage salvage. -

A Genericked Name: a sililoquy by Ridiculous Girl
ivanhedgehog replied to Ridiculous Girl's topic in General Discussion
The GMs do a good discussion to decide these things. The top guys do have the last word but they very much listen to input. It is not an arbitrary decision and you have a very good bunch of gms looking out for you. They do take applications if you would like to help. -
That first time me and my wife got in a Frostfire. It was glorious. Hooked us from I6 to shutdown.

no game but......COH. Before the GDN et all. They expanded the agro caps for "realism". Is it realistic for a group of thugs to be caught in a nuke and it doesnt hit one of them because he was the excess guy? No. If you jack up the cap, keep that balanced with the rest of the world. Other wise stay with an agro cap of 16. The game is being changed to satisfy little groups, and is no longer the game we all wanted to come back. adding power sets, missions etc is great. changing the basic world will only satisfy the niche players that are currently in favor.

I want the aoe target level set to the same number as the agro level. Right now we have the worst of both worlds. you can agro way higher numbers than you can hit to keep agro.

Prismatic Aether and locked costume items
ivanhedgehog replied to Zhym's topic in General Discussion
We get it, the prismatics were set up to make bank for the HM runners. People that ran The Aeon HM tf on the first few days made 3 billion in a run. massive inf transfer there. for rp costume items. Since then the game has been driven in the direction of increasing difficulty for all players. The development direction has a definite tilt. -
any mob that gives no reward should not give debt if it kills you or it should do no damage. maybe find some way to reward you. risk vs reward

If you're going to play at the highest level in the game...
ivanhedgehog replied to Oklahoman's topic in General Discussion
they made it so you have to be a level 50 and have unlocked incarnates to get the best rewards. why wouldnt people hurry to 50 to get the much desired rewards instead of being short changed?
