i was getting exploration badges in the hollows, when i decided to drop a slightly out leveled mission to retake. it was doc buzzsaw's "loot the unsuspecting council" mission. i abandoned it, and then i could not find the contact any more, not under active nor inactive contacts. it was only when i went to ourobouros, that the contact became active again. i had one level outstanding that needed to be trained, level 34 to 35. i also dropped mercedes sheldon's first mission first, because it was even more out leveled.

not sure where this should go since it is related to an emote... but mender holly has what you could call a drinking problem. 😄

so... i just realised that when i use the wisp overlord costume that speech has an unfortunate place of origin. 😁 added, because i make myself laugh... 😁 editted: i just realised that it may be because the costume slot costume is using the shortest character size possible.

i usually craft and convert a stack of 70 of the same enhancements at a time. but every time i want to convert within the same category (ie. healing defense, resist) i need to reset it because it always defaults to the rarity setting. if i wanted to convert within a set, it stays as the default. every time i convert by rarity, it stays at the default. but 99% of the time i convert within category, and it never stays as default. i never, ever use the rarity setting unless by accident. often watching a 2-5 million inf enhancement convert to a 100k enc in one fell swoop... 😕 i would like to propose that if it is the same enhancement being converted as the last one, that conversion option "in category" rests as the default. at 45,000 IO sets crafted and converted, this is an extra step that i really, really could do without and it would make thing so much better. 🙂 thank you for listening to my whining. 😄

i have encountered a few problems with the camera, some really messed up setting that i could not resolve unless i reloaded everything. i am not sure if this is what is needed, but under menu/ options/ keymapping there is a setting that you can revert from "modern" to "classic" and i am pretty sure that will resolve the problem.

i bought the wisp overlord hologram costume and it will not display the mace weapon from the mace mastery weapon pool. it will display temp power weapons like shotgun, or accolade weapons like stolen immobilizer ray, but not the mace weapon in combat and out. what mace weapon choice makes no difference either, none work. 🙂

ok, i made the HC launcher search for an update, and it updated, it is all good now. 🙂

i tried to access ridiculous girl, who is parked in ouroboros, after the emergency maintainence and game update, and as the loading screen was almost finished the game crashed. i tried several times, rebooting the downloader and game, and same game crash. i logged into another alt, marvelous chin, who was parked in cimerora, when i moved him to ouroboros the game crashed and he is now inaccesible. i then tried to computer reboot, and it is still crashing the game if i try to access either toon. i filed a game client crash report with full download of memory dump. no one else seems to be reporting this problem, nor having trouble accessing ouroboros. HELP!

that is assuming a straight slope rather than a curved. by june it could easily even out at about 2500-2750... though around 2400 would probably be more likely in six months. 😎

Maybe a 1000 of those enhancements sold are generic IOs, the rest are IO sets. i have my niche, and it is casual crafting. i'll craft first thing in the morning, while drinking my coffee and put 70 up on the market. i might do another 70 in the evening after playing, while i am just downtiming and ready to log off for the night. i get a return of maybe 5x from what i invested in materials. i put aside about billion a week or two, it depends. I could probably craft a whole lot more, but then that just takes away from playing. since i am a chronic altoholic, i have lots of baby alts to feed, this keeps them well fed. 😎

i was just running into this when i was looking at my robots/rad MM, that i only had three places to put my MM ATOs. which is severely affecting my full use of the ATOs. where i am seriouly considering placing one set for a 5 slot bonus and the other for a 3 slot bonus and ditching the rest. what is strange is that one secondary like trick arrow, on a controller for example; i can put ATOs in a couple of powers there too, like entangling arrow and ice arrow. so it is easy to get the controller ATO set benefits for the immob and holds, etc, with 3 double and 2 triple bonus bundlings. (sorry, i am super tired if that does not make any sense... 😄 ) my bot/rad MM gets the shaft with 3 powers for slotting ATOs, while my ARS/TA troller gets 9 powers! long story short, i fully support opening the attack powers to ATOs for an MM, it makes sense because of the severe limitations otherwise. going back to bed. i'll read this in the morning and see if it makes any sense... 😬

this is what my grav/time set-up looks like, but it is with an unlimited budget and to my own tastes and play style. what is not shown is what i also have from the teleportation pool; teleport, teleport target, and fold space. also not shown is the three end procs in health and two in stamina; miracle +rec, numina +rec, panacea +end, with performance shifter end mod and +end. he plays right in the middle of the action, usually dropping mobs right on the tank's head or on top of the singularity. singularity has a negative repel that pulls in mobs, drawing them in, that is why i like it in the middle rather than off to the side when it follows. typical solo attack chain is... drop distortion field, wormhole to me, crushing field, teleport target to me for the singularity, then picking off mobs with propel and lift. typical team attack chain is... follow tank/brute closely, distortion field, wormhold/fold space, TP singularity to me, etc... this is the TP to me macro that i use, it can find the singularity anywhere on the map and tp to yourself with two taps on the button. /macro_image "Teleportation_Loyalist" TPsing "pet_select_name (insert pet name here with no parentheses)$$powexec_location me teleport target"

i hate to follow the crowd but i am also working on a AR/TA troller and it plays so differently from other trollers that i have had. in the biography i called it a recon unit, and on a team it is exactly that. i run ahead with cloaking device, drop flash arrow and smoke canister on the group ahead, when the rest of the team catches up and engages, i drop the other control powers, debuffing etc, on the group. i work on some of the bosses with arcane bolt, which i happily learned works with containment and can proc for 3x damage. when the rest are mopping up, i run ahead and find the next group. i've played no other troller like this and it makes for a really interesting solo and team combo. tear gas is a hoot, everyone vomits! 😄 i asked for exactly the same thing!

i am sorry i do not have a picture at this moment, i will have to run it again. but i just finished a positron 1 taskforce with my level 24 AC/TA controller. the leader of the taskforce started as level 12, ran a full team at +1/8. all went well, until i noticed that a trigun was summoned by a doppleganger. this should not be possible, since it is a tier 9 power and should only be available level 26, though possible to use at level 21. we were no where near that level, and it definitely should not have been there. i will add a picture, when i run it again and if it is reproducable. 🙂

this is fun! i usually use AI generators to do more abstract stuff. but i figured a would try this for kicks. so i made the OG Ridiculous Girl (fire/fire blaster) from live. bing prompt: cel shaded comic book style, wide angle, very tall woman smiling, with orange hair, orange leather bustier, tight orange leather pants with a fire stripe on the sides, knee-high platform boots, standing outdoors amidst burning wreckage i was most recently using AI art for generating images for my dreams; i don't remember the prompt, it was something like; couple, man and woman, sitting outside under a tree, it is nighttime, lit by gas lantern, with a farmhouse in the background. another dream, AI prompt: snowman sitting at table in a kitchen, drinking coffee. this all makes me want to experiment with my computer art again... normally i do abstract mandalas using photo manipulation and some AI generation supplementing the abstractions... i have been using movie stills as a seed image. seed photo: from Dune initial mandala: final image (that i could find) thank you for getting me addicted again! 😄

i have a baby troller, AC/TA, and i just learned that arcane bolt from the sorcery pool is great power. not only does it do double damage when you get the "containment", but it will sometimes proc and instantly recharge, and with containment, it will do triple damage! it has changed my how i am playing that controller. that said... normally controllers are very damage poor until later when they get their pet. but on teams they are great at their job, which is crowd control. holds and immobilises are your specialty, as well as buffs and debuffs. damage is not as important. but if you want an extra, good damage power i would highly suggest looking into getting arcane bolt. 🙂

i am wondering if it would not proc and ignite because it takes 1.15 seconds to cast oil slick and the proc fires off at cast. that would explain why others have not had it work. 🙂

yeah, I noticed this one, thought it strange. but since the always follows so well and close, and it sort of made sense to me (tanky, nonteleportable), i accepted it. this works for me also. 🙂 i saw a bunch of complaints about this, though my counter was it was like another, similar ice power, ice slick, that did not accept slow encs and sets. but this works for me too. i am very glad to see this closed off too. nice to see that the DEVS (🎶 AHHHHH! 🎶) listen and make changes that reflect that. 😄 i feel now is a good time to ask when we will get a mullet hairdo option, daisy dukes cut-off jean shorts (female, male and huge options), finger pistol weapon customisation, food item related sword and titan weapons customisations (a baguette, a herring, a butter knife), etc... i have character customisation needs that are not being met! thank you! 😁

oil slick does indeed ignite with fire and energy. in fact i use the magic origin apprentice charm to light it, if i have a /TA that does not have a fire/engergy power. i have a macro to target the oil slick and fire off the apprentice charm to light it. just click twice, once to target and once to fire off the charm /macro_image "TalonsOfVengeance_MorbidCut" "TGT" "Target_name oil slick$$powexec_location target apprentice charm"

noticed this when i was leveling my arsenal/TA troller... under flashbang power description, it should say "chance to hit" and not "chance ot hit". 🙂

i do not find that this is the case, and i am on excelsior. in fact, when a person fills a team and then mentions that it will be a speed run, without advertising it as such, in my experience more often than not several people on the team will rebel against that. i cannot recall a case of someone ever falsely advertising a speed run. i find that most team leaders advertise on LFG exactly what their intentions are. most speed runs seem to be grouped around certain TFs; the WST specifically is the worst offender, but there are a few others. this is not to say that it does not happen, but 95% of the time i know if i am getting on a normal run or not. i do try to counteract this kind of behavior by giving every person forming a team, even if it is a dfb, a three star rating and a note what the team was. if i randomly PUG with them more than 5 times they get a four star rating. but if they pull that old switcheroo, and announce it's a speed run after team formation, they get bumped down to two stars and a mean note. maybe even a one star if they are a jerk about it. but i look, every time, at who's forming teams. i will not team with someone that pulls a stunt like that. though there have been a fair number of cases where some teammate will act like it is a speed run, doing so without asking the team or the leader. people that do this automatically get a one star from me, a scathing note, and a possible ignore.
