i passed a 1000 characters on excelsior. the one thing that i learned is that if you do not leave the 1000th slot open after transfering a character to another shard to free up space, the character creation button does not work. 😄

apparently, i am not normal... i have often wished that it was at least 210. namely because i craft batches of 70 recipes at a time, each needing 3 ingrediants. 😄

yeah, i exploited this while testing, by transfering a bunch of alts to the server and changing their names to the same name and then checking in... apparently it only checks the character name and the badges.

so ummmm... in 1/3 of the power decriptions for electrical melee for tanks, there is a lot of fiery embrace indicated. but i am pretty sure this is not correct, especially for the tier 1 powers, since they do work, draining end and doing damage, for example at level 1 while testing. but if these were incorrect, it's worse for the brute. which has 6 powers with incorrect descriptions with fiery embrace, and one without a fiery embrace but including fire damage. for brutes there are five power with incorrect fiery embrace descriptions... charged brawl, havoc punch, jacob's ladder, thunder strike, chain induction, and lightning clap. lightning rod gets free fire damage, without fiery embrace. 😁 scrapper has five power with incorrect fiery embrace descriptions... charged brawl, havoc punch, jacob's ladder, thunder strike, chain induction, and lightning clap. (no screenies provided, just take my word for it! 😉 ) there is even a stalker power that has a fiery embrace when stalkers do not even get that option...

in all my years of playing, i never noticed. 😅

there is a square in Kings Row that becomes transparent when far enough away from it. maybe my settings are too low, but you need to be 156+ yards away from it for it to be visible. you can see whatever is underneath the geomety. Zone/Mission: Kings Row Position: [-1390.6 74.2 429.6] marker is vantage point, facing south

can you test this again? since the server shutdown i did not see an update...

GC does have a mag 4 taunt... it only lasts 7 seconds, but that is the same magnitude as a tank base taunt too. so you would pull away from a tank taunting... i have no idea if domination has an effect on taunt, i doubt it though. (i'll ask around... 😉 ) (UPDATE: an dev said no it does not. 😄 )

another case of a LT or Boss, just standing around...

i have a psi/staff tank and a staff/psi brute, both early 20s with only SOs slotted in. on occasion while spamming consume psyche (which has a -rec, -heal, -regen) i notice that the mobs will sometimes go into a placated-like state. they will go into a non-combat like stance and not attack. this will not only happen when they are completly tired out and cannot recharge due to impose presence adding -rech, sometimes it is before they have drained their endurance. i cannot tell if they are truly placated or they simply go into a non-combat stance until they can attack again.

there is one power from the gremlins that has a knock power, jolting chain which is set to .66 which makes it a knockdown. adding any KB IO would change it to a knockback. 🙂

apparently, there is a fix, but it seems that it did not get added to the last patch...

all controller T9 pets have mastermind like controls. they will be in a defensive mode when summoned. there are the basic MM buttons now in the pet window to change their stances; agressive, defensive, and passive. you can add those button to your power trays. 🙂

i picked mr sleepytime as a mind control/trick arrow controller because of the 2020 AT statistics... since they were the two least used, separately, power sets. he could barely kill anything by him self, but man was he good on teams. (this was before i discovered the wonders of arcane bolt.) things got better later on, and trick arrow has been buffed, but still i am pretty sure it's most ineffective solo lvl 50 that i have. 😄

that was because back then it was an incomplete zone... this KW has been reworked completely. so yes, report any geometry thingies... they love this stuff! 😄

there is an object stuck in the crotch of scirocco's patron plaque statue in grandville. some random object... don't ask me why i find these things... 😁

there is an update coming out as soon as the servers come back up, that should solve whatever problems like this that exist in pyro...

ever see someone mash a button 50 times because some command is not working immediately only to have it suddenly start working 30 seconds later, executing that command 50 times is 2 seconds? this is the same thing. 😄 i do not think it is a deliberate thing, just that the system takes some time to process the order and people get impatient and then multiply that by several 100 players trying to do the same thing... so rather than sitting back and waiting a few minutes they compound the problem by upping the bid, ad infinitum, ad nauseum... 😉

i think that there is an internal pause if there is a bidding war too... meaning that if you are impatient and up-bid slightly higher than the last high bid, it waits a bit to see if there is another, incrementally higher bid. so those that are super impatient will drop a super bid, win the item immediately, but others that are simply impatient will truly gum up the system by trying to get their item but refusing to pay the premium to get it super immediately... 😄
