oh man, these missions are bugged! i reset mission to +1/0 to do a normal run and kill all council. this time i kill all up to the boss, archon walmer, who was still level 25, and he killed me again when i got him to 1/4 health. since he was in smoke and confused from smoke canister, i was able to rez and get out of aggro range and rest. but when i was in rest, i was kicked out of mission for no reason and the mission reset completely.

ok, i dropped the mission after i gained 2 levels. i talked to peebles again, but she has given me a different mission this time. same hero, now lvl 22, mission set at 0/0 with bosses enabled. now it's "defeat all council agents" with all mobs at normal +0/1, with the exception of another boss, this time archon walmer, lvl 25, his guard is a normal lvl 22 minion.

first instance mission of stephanie peebles, after kill 10 council on docks, "defeat all villains in warehouse." i am level level 20, arsenel/arsenel dominator, notoriety is set at +2/0 with bosses enabled. all minion level mobs are are orange and red. but with the two named bosses fighting, big toe fred was normal level (+2, i think), but archon lannert is lvl 25, +5 to my level. i could not figure out why i was not doing damage until i died. i filed a bug report. i exited and reset the mission to 0/0 notoriety. all mobs are 0/+1 to me, even big toe fred is orange, lvl 20. but archon lannert is still +5, at level 25. i have not completed this mission, i will go back at lvl 22 and see what it gives me. i filed a second bug report. did this go into effect for all (or most) GMs? because i do not remember seeing it listed, and i was just wondering about this in regards to adamastor campers.

flambeaux called me a cog... in recover proton's equipment, second arc of twinshot of course. i was invisible at the time, then when i came back she called me by my correct name. oops and then she called me another MOB name, when i died and she stuck around killing everything left

ah ha ha! you guys are funny! 😄 insuating that i am fixing the market and don't know how it works! you make me laugh! 😆 i set a minimum price and it sells, fast! which means i am selling a desired product for a fair price. in fact i almost always get a lot more than my minimum. if anything i am doing exactly opposite of the person selling for 1inf, i am stabilising the market with a fair minimum. 😜

and maybe propagate some alternative weapons for an arsenal controller, since to have to use a rifle that does not shoot bullets is a bit wierd. maybe some of the arachnos mace weapons. just some tube like object to project things would work, even a paper towel roll for all i care. actually, i want a paper towel roll launcher! 😁

and can we get thorn sword 2 propagated to katana? it would look really good on my katana stalker, Poo on a Stick. 😅

it messes up the market for people that make their in-game living selling stuff on the market, they rely on some sort of stability of prices. people selling for 1 inf are undercutting the people that want to sell at a reasonable price and get a reasonable price paid. when someone dumps a bunch of LotG, say a full stack of 70, on the market for 1inf, it means that they do not care what the price someone pays for it. they'll take 1 inf as well as 3 million, as well as 6 million, they don't care what they make off of the sale. that destabilises the market for the people that do care. yes, the market will right itself back up to the price that people are willing to pay for something, but that takes time. in the meantime prices for the LotG drop to sub 3 mill, when it normally runs in the 6-7 million range, and it makes it difficult for people to know what price to buy or sell at. which, in turn, barely makes it worthwhile to craft and sell in quantity. suddenly where it was 3-4 times in return in what i had invested, spending time and influence to craft and sell, if falls to less than 2x for all the time and effort. suddenly the regular crafters, like me nearing my 40,000th IO set enhancement crafted, need to find another a more stable market, at least until it stablises and becomes worthwhile again. (for what it's worth, i do not currently craft LotG because the market is currently too tight) it's this exactly. it's not really helping, people that want to sell would prefer that it sells for the most reasonable price that people are willing to pay, that requires a stable market. dumping for 1 inf, does not accomplish this.

there is a notable discrepancy that winter origin enhancements cost 100 merits each, and yet sell routinely for 20+million on the market. but ATOs also cost 100 merits to buy, but sell for only 6 to 8 million apiece. i know that you can buy winter packs for 25 million off the market, with the possiblity of getting either 0, 1, or 2 winter enhancements, plus extra goodies. i know that you can also buy hero packs for 10 million, with the possibility of getting 1, 2, or no ATO enhancements. the problem is that the merit cost discepancy means that there are few ATOs on the market but a glut of winter set enhancements. it really makes things weird, because you want to spend your merits and influence wisely, but you have to do it in a round about way if you want to kit yourself out in ATOs without involuntarily driving up the prices for the rest because of the scarcity. i do not know what can be done to fix this. i sort of doubt raising the merit prices for winter sets would be a good idea without causing a huge ruckus. but reducing merit prices seems weird. i wish something would change though. is there a reasonable solution? 😐

yeah, i saw that the LOTG market bottomed out and it's crazy. someone must have dumped a large sum of crafted LoTGs and put them up for 1inf. i wish people would stop doing the 1 inf thing. it messes up the market and it often does not save you any inf.

general chat is general chat... discussions vary widely. but there are some lines that should not be crossed, politics is one of them. if there is offensive conversation going on, report them and ignore them. i find that as in all modern media, it is a very noisy minority that causes the most problems. luckily here we have mechanisms for managing that. i just wish i had an ignore button in real life. 😁

il y a un channel francophone VIGILANCE FR. je ne sais pas si c'est spécifiquement pour une serveur, mais si je rencontre des autres francophone sur Excelsior, je les diriges a VIGILANCE FR en première. 🙂

i have several /TA alts, and i am a confrimed TA fanatic! i love it! especially since it has been revamped, it's really a great secondary. if i did mercs/TA, since i prefer concept over performance, i would probably avoid the MM attacks too, to avoid having to switch from bow to gun and back. you will use TA a lot, anyway! 😁

running the resistance crusader arc and had this one pop up. "murmor" in the pop-up text should be spelled "murmur". 🙂

i have a demon/thermal MM, Fast Food Manager, whipping his employees to work harder! but demons synergises well with thermal since the thermal shields reinforce the mid tier demon's ember shield and the demon's resistances stack easily. so you can get high resistances early on for your demons, and eventually cap some resistance at 90%. it's a fun combo. 🙂

i have made some effort spending it all... i bought a ton of PAPs when they came out, so much that i had to replenish my inf stocks. now, i am back up again, where i am finding CCs to fund to get rid of it in a charitable manner. 🙂

yeah, i saw, and it is super impressive. but it was also a compilation from an unstated number of characters and a farmer. i would like to see their main crafter sales. i am just a happy crafter, feeding my free range alts. 🙂
