  1. Interesting, I assume that means any other map work would also be similar, so the possibility of new maps with new textures for any kind of brand new content will never, ever, ever happen because that would be even worse. Removing them from radio rotation - would that be easier?
  2. Really trying to steer the conversation back to the topic
  3. What about recreation
  4. Any time I'm on a radio team someone always complains about the blue/purple cave maps, and I don't blame them.
  5. I've been offline a lot because of some huge video transcoding projects I've been involved with, and I'm not using any offsets 😜 When things aren't so crazy I will fire it back up.
  6. What does Defiance numbers represent under Effects?
  7. Well, to be fair, radius is a decent balancing factor especially when you get into things like The Underground trial and such
  8. The two we don't have in the game is cold and smashing as far as I know, if you consider World of Confusion a damage aura. Incarnate Interface is also missing these damage types - I would suggest if one was to be created, that it would be along the lines of the other control types Spiritual and Cognitive where there are chances for knockdown or fear along with Smashing etc. I guess I should start another thread for that though.
  9. As far as the challenge argument goes, I'd say that only applies to aggro management specifically in the cake room. The rest of the blue/purple cave design aren't a challenge at all and is more of an aggravation issue and as has been mentioned many times by others a mob spawn problem. Navigation is not confusing to me at all as I've had them committed to memory a long time ago, rather movement and restrictions are just a chore and only a challenge in the sense of not letting the annoyance get to you. As far as removal over recreation goes, I was fairly specific about radio missions in the OP.
  10. This is why I was so specific - I mentioned possible recreation if not removal of the blue/purple caves only and we all know why they are so disliked. Yes it is true that the torches problem for other maps are incredibly annoying but it is not what I am addressing in the thread. I also like some other cave maps like I said earlier and never asked that all of them be removed.
  11. Ohhhh maybe that's the whole problem then: you didn't read the title of the thread. Remove/recreate purple caves
  12. Don't be dismissive like you have been so far then. No improvements are allowed, can't even discuss it. Don't want to hear it. That can be seen as rather disrespectful as well. Let's not go after each other like this.
  13. How many? Why do you like them?
  14. Me too, interesting
  15. You truly believe that recreating the blue/purple caves will automatically make it worse? How do you know this?
  16. The game does this to all sounds - when they 'stack' the volume gets crazy - and when you enter a door the game resummons and retrains your pets all at the same time. Necros are incredibly loud yes, and it is quite annoying.
  17. Yeah I do not understand how there is people here that really want things to not improve.
  18. Well, kind of unrelated, but I do very much enjoy I think it was the 2nd try at Elec/Elec defender that you came up with. Very tough for a defender.
  19. There are some caves I don't mind, namely the really wide huge ones that aren't so claustrophobic
  20. Perhaps I've missed this elsewhere, surely I am not alone in my dislike of these things. Unlike some, I don't mind other cave maps. It's those terribly cramped blue/purple caves especially with the cake room. Please, at least remove them from possible radio missions.
