  1. I have made a similar request myself in the very early days (like within the first couple months?) of Homecoming. At the time, the idea was not so popular. Opinions may be a bit less resistant these days though.
  2. I personally loved red side. I only started disliking red side when population became so low that it took an exhausting amount of time to form a pug for even a simple mission. Blue side is better, but something being better does not mean something else is bad. I don't know how many others share my opinion, but that's my point of view anyway. That's the thing, Tankers were never designed nor meant to be as powerful as they are now. Remember when I said that people would have to make stupid requests to balance a stupid decision of making crossovers? Well, that's how I feel about the Tanker changes. It was something stupid that was done, but sadly, it was a necessary evil to compensate for the original stupid decision to make this game a crossover. Not taking any stabs at you at all, this is just simply how I see it and am pretty hard set on my views of the issue. I won't respond to your two previous points, because I feel my opinion of your first point pretty much applies there as well. However, what I often see in game and sometimes on these forums is that Controllers were the original Damage Mitigation masters. Now, we have Dominators who not only out DPS them, but also outdo them in the mitigation sector as well. A Dom can one shot Hold a Boss at will, a Controller has to wait for the Hold to recharge and hit it with two holds to lock down the Boss. This does not just apply to holds, but every single mitigating ability that they have. This makes Doms superior at Damage and Holds. Now, I am aware that there can be several counter points to this, but this will be the foundation that I will be sticking to, because I believe this debate could literally go in circles and it would just keep coming back to this point over and over again. I suppose that would have to be a matter of perspective. For players like me, it has taken a lot away from this game and has left this game a husk of what it once was. All one need do to see this for themselves is to simply visit City of Villains, and then ask themselves, "Where is everyone?" So my logic may or may not be flawed on a few points, but this is just the way I see things from this end of the computer screen.
  3. I have some thoughts on this but will have to get back to you. I have dreaded adulting to do right now, heh.
  4. All fair points and a reasonable argument, but I still feel the same about it.
  5. Ironic. When players were begging to allow crossovers, everything negative that has come from crossovers were points that I brought up when I explained how that would be a horrible idea. I also stated that with those issues that would arise, players would then come up with more horrible ideas attempting to balance the chaos from the aftermath of crossovers that they were actually asking for. Seeing it being played out just as I said it would just makes me wish that people had actually listened to me. Crossovers is the absolute dumbest thing the Original Devs have ever done. That was a completely brain dead decision. I honestly wish we could reverse it and for once, I wish the Devs had told people no and stuck with their guns. I mentioned that people would slowly migrate off red side. Check. I said the Tanks and Brutes would not synergies well. Check. I said Defenders and Corruptors would be a nonstop issue. Check. I said Stalkers would take a back seat to Scrappers...and before the Stalker changes, that was true. So again, check. I also said Controllers would take a back seat to Dominators. Check. So here we are. Exactly where I said we would be. Check Please!
  6. Honestly, I don't find Sappers to be an issue. They get taken out first and I don't worry about it. Carnies are a different story since they all sap upon death.
  7. Point me at that sapper and I will scream it in his/her face! 😛 Haha
  8. Nobody said they didn't know what was used for at least I didn't. They said it was useless, towhichI agree. And I agree with you,it is working as intended....useless.
  9. I hate Boggle, I can't stand the animation of the T9, and I can't stand how some attacks look very stiff. If your character actually put momentum behind the attacks and the got rid of the animated fist attacks and traded them for psi blade attacks instead, I would be happy. As the set stands now, I just don't like the look or feel of it
  10. I'm sorry to inform everyone that custom mods will be halted until further notice. I am currently going through a crises in my life that needs my attention. I will post back when my life situation gets back to normal.
  11. And here in lies the problem. It was gutted all to hell and back to balance it afterward, yet somehow it was never balanced afterward, it was left with the gutting it received and no matter how many times the players have yelled at the top of their lungs to have the set fixed, (or balanced for people who believe it to be fine as is) the original Devs never gave it a second glance. The set is pure trash as far as I am concerned. I don't care if every damn player in this game tells me it's fine as is, I will just believe that they have all gone mad. The set needs some tweaking. It should never be as powerful as it was, but it does need regeneration adjustments at very least.
  12. We will just have to agree to disagree, otherwise we will just end up going back and forth for weeks on this. And honestly, in my old age, I am just tired of caring enough to make anyone understand to even put forth the effort.
  13. Unless you are doing some extreme content, debuffs are practically useless. Even on most TF's the AV dies in less seconds than I can count with two hands. I am with the OP, debuffs in today's game take way too long to apply, mobs/bosses/AVs die far too quickly. It is what it is though, it's the game the people wanted, so it's the game the people got. Prior to all the countless complaints of how hard the game was, debuffs were actually in a very good place. Power creep/"make the game easier" kind of threw dirt on debuffs in this game IMO. Now, before anyone quotes me with a snarky comment, keep in mind, it's just my unpopular and almost never shared point of view...which has not once made a single damn difference in this game.
  14. I am growing very intolerant of damn near the whole population of Earth as I grow older. Humans annoy me. Yet here I am, still posting. Don't ask me why, it's one of life's little mysteries.
  15. Willpower is absolutely nothing like what I had described, in fact no set is anything like what I had described. Yet you still compared it to Willpower. And what I had described is hardly over powered, in order for anything to be over powered it would need to have stats that make it over powered. Since it would seem at least half of the gaming population finds Regen to be seriously lacking, I decided to toss out an idea that nobody has came up with yet that is nothing like any other set in game. So when you took my idea and tried to tell me that there is already a set like it, it was an instant insult to my intelligence because we both know that Willpower is simply not that. So when I try and make an honest attempt to come up with something completely different than what anyone else has ever considered and it is met with the same ol tired song of, "We already have that, it's called Willpower" it honestly makes me question why I even bother posting anything at all on this forum.
  16. You insult my intelligence.
  17. Oh wow, here we go again... Walking away, Wavicle. Walking away...
  18. I don't dislike the idea, however, I always felt Regen should be more about Regenerating and less about Healing. In my head logic, I feel all those click powers should be turned to Regeneration Toggles; some with a heavier endurance drain than others depending on the amount they Regenerate. Click it, forget it, but watch your endurance bar or else toggles drop and you lose all Regeneration minus your passive Regening abilities. Regeneration shouldn't even have a heal. But that's just me if I were to rebuild the Regen power set from the ground up. Lose the click heals, that is not Regeneration in my mind.
  19. I challenge you to run my created mission in AE then. I think you will quickly discover otherwise.
  20. I guess it boils down to play style/builds then. For some it could be very helpful, for others it can be a bit hindering. Respect for your Graniteless build by-the-way. Welcome to the club, we have jackets!
  21. Honestly, I loved it. I always shed a bright, but very brief light, lol.
  22. I will self admit that I do not, nor have I ever used Granite Armor...in fact I down right refuse to use it. So for me as a player who builds around not taking Granite Armor, it's more of a nerf. So that is my own self inflicted handicap.
  23. I don't recall being unable to perma it before the change. Maybe a 4 or 6 second delay, which changes nothing about rooted if I am correct. The only thing that has changed is the ability to heal within reason. As of right now, I have to agree with the OP, the change feels more like a nerf and less like a buff. The only benifit that I can see is that it can be permad...but I don't recall that ever being an issue prior, so nothing was gained from my perspective, only lost.
