People are confused, because taunt does no damage. Unless something has changed? However, the last time I have played my Tank...which was today, there was no damage associated with the ability. Then, when asked if your request was to give Taunt damage, your response was a wrongly spelled, "wut" This confused us even more, because it seemed like you might have been requesting this, since taunt does no damage, yet you were speaking as if it does do damage. Then when asked to clarify because people are trying to understand, all you said was, "illusion." So what are we to make of this? You made absolute zero sense to us. You spoke in riddles instead of actual English. Is English not your first language? That could possibly explain why we are not understanding you. If it is not, I suggest try using Google Translate, that might help.

I was going to comment on this thread, but after reading it, I'll pass. It feels like a trap.

PK (also known as The Philotic Knight) now known as @Nope would probably love this. As I recall, he was arguably the largest fan of Force Field and the most dedicated Force Field player in game. He knew that set better than anyone else in game and mastered it to the brink of new level understanding of the set. Yeah, I layed it on thick there, but you get my point. If I am not mistaken, he left the game over the changes to the set and how he was treated by trying to express his opinion about the set by players/posters who never really even played the set. There is a lot more to it than this, much more, but that is all I am willing to say about it. My point being, I'm sure PK would be thrilled if this would be implemented. I for one would like to see this man happy once again if this were to be made a reality.

Maybe this boils down to what you consider to be bigoted and racist. This day and age, everyone has a different definition of bigoted and racist. So that might be why you are seeing bigoted and racism where others are not, you may have a wider definition and concept of bigoted and racist behavior than others do. Just one small possibility that could explain why some only see it rarely where you see it every other day.

I have encountered racism a single time during all my time playing this game. I admit I have been gone for a year or better now (meaning if racism activity has increased, I would not be aware of it) and only have recently returned after @Number Six was gracious and created a /command that enabled the stacking hit sound effects, (Thank you Number Six! Any slash commands to bring back No Fade Toggles??? I know, I'm pushing my luck, lol) that's when Number Six quickly became my personal Superhero! Now that I am done groveling at Number Six's feet, lol... However, I simply reported him, ignored him and now I can't even remember the guy's name. Good riddance is all I can say.

Just as the title says. I just came back after a year+ off from the game and could not remember for the life of me which character I had it on. Go figure, as the story of luck goes, it was the very last character I checked out of about 14 pages of characters. As you can imagine, that took quite some time. It would be nice if it were simple enough, to add an influence/infamy count on each character to help save time during these times.

Hollows. I loved that map before the re-haul. Now, not so much, it went from being my favorite map to my least favorite over night.

This right here. They would fall to both knees, then fall flat on the ground face down. Others would bounce off the ground and fall straight on their backs, there were also sound files associated with the thuds to the knees then face plants to the floor. When the rag doll effect was born, I am fairly certain those sound files were either removed or simply not utilized. Needs a sharp eye, but this was issue 4, shows how the mobs always died unless they were knocked down or back upon death.

As crazy funny as that is, I always hated the rubber-band NPCs when they die. I always preferred the original. The rag-doll affect is just...bad.

I was only able to pull this up for the time being, but it does support my memory of events. The first reply covers it.

They as in Homecoming Devs. They themselves have said this in response to another player mentioning that the "secret server" had access to their original accounts and wanted to know why they suddenly lost access to those accounts. I'm sure the post is floating around on these boards somewhere. I'm also sure one of the Devs could possibly chime in and confirm.

The animations and visuals are subpar in my opinion. Nothing about it impressed me. If something doesn't look visual appealing, I can't be bothered with it, regardless of how well it plays. It's the same reason I won't play Psionic Melee.

I agree. Game after game has lost its shine due to people complaining about this or that and it always seems to be some small minority of players who causes all of these changes. Games lose more and more of what they are in order to cater to these players and then next thing you know, the only players who are left playing are the players who were the ones complaining. The ayers who loved the game for what it was has been ran off. Happens on soooo many games, the complainers win every time.

I don't know, my main has always been an Energy/Energy Blaster. I used to get kicked off teams fairly regularly just for having that as a power choice, lol. Can't recall ever being kicked off of a team for playing AR, but to be fair, I never played it very often so then there is that.

That's a shame, but at the same time, if I had stumbled across something that allowed me to do that, I would think long and hard before doing it. Well, not really, that would be an instant "nope" for me, but...lol.

A little throwback to live servers, video quality is crap, 480p, but, this was a hacker on Freedom server. Not sure if he was ever caught or not, but this was the most creepy thing I had ever seen in game in all my years playing it. Remember, once you hit the play button, you cannot unsee this and you will never be the same again. You have been warned.
