  1. Suppressive still procs decently well, and the times it doesn't, the extra damage and lower recharge makes it a break even. Rotationally speaking, I'd even call it an improvement. Decimation will probably lose favor, which sucks for a set without build up, but if you just want a damage proc mule, it still works. I feel like if you're going to turn blast set mezzes into damage focused powers that I'd rather have the power reworked than have some damage slapped on the top. The cc is generally bad for all of them, beanbag being the worst of them all, as it used to take the slot aim now inhabits. It's important to mention the procs though, for any devs reading - because this is the only reason you'll see people taking these powers, as a general rule.
  2. Yeah, sure. After my coffee.
  3. Overblown, really. This corruptor goes pretty fast in normal missions, but becomes pretty ridiculous if allowed to stay in an area.
  4. Phoning it in today because Easter, I'll let someone else experiment with if soul draining C5 is even worth it for this test. Still, 2 mins first try, not the worst. Amps are on.
  5. Happy Easter, I have no eggs, so here's some murder fresh from Brainstorm. Trapdoor doesn't do the storm/storm justice, lots of setup and you don't get to make full use of the storms as much as you would on most other maps. Buffed AR is pretty sick though.
  6. Pet powers are weird, that's not how it works. The proc chance is tied to your character's powers, so that's an easy on the spit boost. The pet can't inherit your buff stats after it is already summoned. So, like blizzard or any other rain power, if you soul drain then summon a cell/c5, they'll have your soul drain buffs. But intensify's damage buff won't last long enough to pull a similar trick. This is why if you build up into a blizzard, it goes back to doing it's regular damage not that long into it's duration.
  7. I'll give you ignite, but applying this to beanbag is a reach, mate.
  8. I don't think even the devs know what they want to do with sentinels tbh. They seem like they're only still around because it's just too late to delete them.
  9. @Luminara I wouldn't lose sleep over it either way either, but I'd probably pop it after laying the storms down as well. Having every attack proc both storms obliterating your targets is just too good.
  10. I'm kinda okay with cloudburst. I just think the projectile could maybe be faster. Like maybe instead of it being a projectile, it just spawns over their head. It would probably look better and also cut out the delay in damage delivery without having to modify the power itself.
  11. How do I like a post multiple times?
  12. Last time I saw, cell's lightning procs can be between a single focused bolt, a split double bolt, or a spread quad-bolt. Things like this are why I strongly recommend more informative patch notes for this set whenever the next batch of patch notes hit.
  13. I'll gladly keep aim over beanbag, so no promises there. Buckshot, slug and sniper rifle handle knock well enough on their own.
  14. Assault rifle is one of the worst performing sets in the game on live, even on a blaster. The changes made are a very significant bump, particularly sniper rifle, aim, and flamethrower. I don't really care what happens with ignite, as long as all that other stuff stays relatively untouched. The idea that only sentinel AR needs changes is completely untrue, though.
  15. I'm pretty sure it's flat, but good point.
  16. I think having the proc chances somewhere on the main post would be helpful to people. It doesn't even mention that intensify buffs your storm cell/C5 procs by 20%.
  17. Since people won't stop talking about the repel, here's some video so people that haven't tested yet don't get the wrong impression based on a blatant skill issue, using jetstream an excessive amount just to drive the point across. This is the slotting, no knock converters used.
  18. If people never want to bother with redrawing their weapon under any circumstances, that should be something they can do.
  19. I can safely say we all agree that it's good riddance to beanbag, yes?
  20. It's harmless and only serves to make base building more creative. What he/she did there looks cool. Sometimes nuance is needed with these issues, it's a bug, but the end result is desirable to some in a non-obstructive way.
  21. You've been told several times that it does, and the clip I posted earlier clearly shows this. Things in cell don't get repelled, and the kb>kd converter successfully removes the repel.
  22. All three of them speak for the entire playerbase, apparently, according to an earlier post. If people are having that much issue with storm cell placement and jet stream repel, I'm inclined to say it's a skill issue that can be overcome with some practice. After some hours of testing, I got it down pretty well. It doesn't repel things in your cell, it's pretty good at keeping things in your cell, too.
  23. I think it looked better when the ball went up and lightning just struck your target from above shortly after and chained from there. If I were to nitpick, the ball coming down is ever so slightly less cool looking.
  24. You should prioritize replacing it over dragging it through the entire mission. Play with it a little, you'll get used to it.
