incarnate slots Ideas for Mind and Vitae Incarnate Slots
Darkneblade replied to LightMaster's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I wish Omega Slot will let us make customizable signature powers of our own, Every hero/villain gets to customize their aspects and what not, High damage powers balanced by high cooldowns etc(Can not reduce this). Vitae looks fun enough. -
There was similar power in the ESO called Bolt Escape (Streak), It damages/stuns enemies when you streak, with each teleport, end usage gets higher and higher but also stunning enemies when you arrive your intended destination. With CCs so useless in that game, it never becomes problem however. Maybe similar could be done this way. So when you teleport, you could leave location aoe ability from behind you, and after arriving your destination that can lasts X seconds. It could be small radius. After using 3 times it could go on long recharge.
-
No. It only disables your own powers. What i want to disable is opposite.
-
Basically, I request toggle power that nullifies any ally buff placed on you (all sfxs, gfxs, and its effects) keeping you in same emote when stray speed boost power hits you, It can't hurt to ask at least.
-
Counter-suggestion : Allow villains to kill civilians when they are in Redzone if they are pure villain.
-
Just like the titles says, i got as low as 5 fps or maybe 4 when trying to place items, it is a openbase so very large room is a must have. It isn't shuttering when im trying to place items from entrance room to very large room, but it starts to shutter as soon i placing items from very large room. Not sure where to put this so i put this on help/ support instead of bug reports.

Suggestion: Ouroboros available at level 1 instead of 15.
Darkneblade replied to Sovera's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
They already changed to level 1 though... You just not get ouroboros portal power until someone opens up for you. (and climb that long ladder thing) -
This is what i use after spending pretty much dozen respecs, It is pretty balanced, almost capped ranged defenses (not that you need it since -to hit pretty much does some thing) but it can be great for taking alpha strikes early on. Perma Hasten, Decent single target damage on Arcane Bolt. Almost being unkillable with perma soul absorption. Controller - Darkness Control - Darkness Affinity.mxd
-
Yeah, I hear you. I was actually looking from realistic point of view, you know? Like, it angers your target or whatever. You could also give it -to hit debuff (because anger) and call it a day. Or really give it chance to confuse even. Because you know, anger...

What if Confront amp up damage of your enemies but deal less damage to everyone else? Like it deals %50 more damage to your scrapper but deal half damage to everyone else. Probably not with these stats but you got my point. It could be kind of good in team environment, or hell on solo. Kind of situational.

wasd for moving f for activating fly powers 1-2-3-4-5-6 primary powers, then I bind rest of them because my finger isn't long enough to touch 7-8-9 numbers shift+1-2-3-4-5-6 for toggle powers, i didn't bother binding rest because they are usually toggle ctrl+1-2-3-4-5-6 for epic/power pool powers, I bound them to rest of keys as well for ease of use. If power is good enough it can replace my one of primary shortcuts. shift+g for ohsh*t button, I remember this because i call it godmode and g key for remembering better. shift+h for summoning umbra beast, again i remember this because that thing howls too much, so h key it is. ctrl+space for teleporting powers, i usually use maxdistance for this so traveling became easier. and so on so on, oh AND R key and shift+r key for various recovery powers, for remembering better.

Maybe it could work like this : press the button first and indicator shows then press button again to fire the power, but it can quickly get tiresome in long fights... so how about hold button to show indicator and release to fire the power? Then again i don't know if there is holding button interaction already built-in in coh, maybe it doesn't, given how old it is.

I think devs said something about this a while ago (around 4 years?) Pathing could stress the servers or something if enemies are following you (basically ambush farm). Not sure way around that outside of making rooms respawnable when you are not looking... but it could be immersion breaking.

Increase the Brute Damage Scale
Darkneblade replied to twozerofoxtrot's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Give them old version of defiance with some tweaks... Nothing can absolutely go wrong, really. -
New IO Sets Suggestions (Only 1 though)
Darkneblade replied to Darkneblade's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Not sure what do you mean? There is no powerset like what I am suggesting, It was emote name though. Maybe different name could be good, but I'm not sure what?... Also crows may spawn from ''defeated'' bodies function could be good addition. At least it will limit their OPness while adding little style, I'm sure. -
Fear Set : Murder of Crows 20-50 Accuracy/Fear End/Fear Accuracy/End Fear/Range Accuracy/Fear/Recharge Chance to Spawn Crows I'm thinking for proc, it will spawn a ground based damage patch that damage and slows enemies. So Minor Lethal DoT and Slow. It will only spawn 1 patch so it will be still useful for single-target fear powers. For PPM, it could be 2.5 for 10 second duration. Crows also may chain to other enemies but it could be OP probably, so probably not.

The powerset you'd love, but you know will never be implemented
Darkneblade replied to SteelR4t's topic in General Discussion
Water Control, technically it wont work though, you can drown the enemy in order to hold them in place but robots? why would robots held in place? they don't need to breathe... Also Reality Manipulation, I love to whack enemy in face with my HP bar, deadpool style. There is also Sand Powers that I love to see in game, but Earth powers could fit the niche for me, at least for now. -
Puppetry : MM Powerset Suggestion
Darkneblade replied to Darkneblade's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Toggle upgrades are single target only, expect for last power which is clicky that behaves similar to MM upgrades powers. -
Just for fun of it. Tier 1 : String Pull/Lash : You pull opponent into melee range then violently spin them, knocking them down. Ranged, Moderate DMG (Smash) Pull, Micro-hold, Knockdown (You can also use this power on your puppets in order to generate some repelling force) Tier 2 : Summon Puppets : You pull your dolls/skeletons/mannequins/clowns/, etc out of nowhere to wack enemy. Basic Powers : Brawl, Hurl Puppet ( Basically ranged attack that hurls random puppet at the enemy, may inflict knockdown) Max 3 Puppets Tier 3 : Stringtrap : You place strings all over the place that acts like caltrops, when enemy takes some damage, one string will briefly become visible. (Your puppets may use these strings as a platform or simply to fly. Purely visual) Tier 4 : Fortify the Puppet (Toggle), You place extra strings onto your chosen puppet, making them extra resilient. (Absorb) If protection is broken, enemies will become temporarily immobilized. (short duration) Tier 5 : Puppetification : You try to hijack opponent's body, Temporarily taking control over them. Basically just single target confuse power but toggle. And since it is toggle only minions or liutenants are affected. Also upgrade powers will work on them. You can also heal them. Tier 6 : String Feedback : You place lighter strings on your chosen puppet in order to control them better (or worse). Toggle : Speed Buff, Recharge Reduction, Defense Buff. Tier 7 : Mimicry : You summon puppet that looks like yourself (or not, but it will be humanoid puppet anyway) Mimicry will mimic your attack order (Primary Powers only expect for summoning powers) If Mimicry dies, it explodes into confetti, stunning the enemies. Tier 8 : Placeholder Ranged Puppet Power : You summon ranged puppets that spit poison darts, they are small and nimble. Poison Darts (Minor Lethal Damage, Moderate Toxic Damage over Time.) Tier 9 : Puppetmaster : You are master of puppets, you grant your puppets some extra abilities if you active this power. Summon Puppets : 2 Max Puppets, Your puppets now explode in death. Mimicry : Combat Teleport (with some kind of defensive buff maybe) Placeholder Ranged Puppet Power : Acid Dart ( Minor Lethal Damage, Moderate Toxic/Fire Damage over Time, -Res) Also customization options are technically endless. From normal wooden dolls to creepy looking dolls to skeletons, statues, spiders, clowns, etc, you name it.

Twilight Grasp or any foe targeted healing power really, they usually have short recharge. Only Ghost Widow have it thankfully. Combined with ridiculous level of regeneration of AVs and spammable foe targeted healing power, it gets tedious. Edit : Oh, Protean has it too, but you can get out of his range pretty easily unless you are minion managing class....

Wait, we are buffing regen? are we insane? Nerf regen... jk jk Anyway, I would probably merge Fast Healing and Quick Recovery together and call it Vigor. Regen and recovery increases as your health decreases. Typical, but can't think anything else. I would remove toxic resistance from reconstruction but will replace with %x resistance to (all but psi) but smaller values (There was post somewhere about it but can't find anything now). I would also add ''cleanse debuff'' effect to reconstruction so that you can actually hit things. There are already one example such as Inner Will (Martial Combat) from blasters. But only for debuffs. I would also add new auto power that increases your own recharge when your hp got so low, something small like %5 (%99+ HP) to %30 (%10- HP). Numbers are probably wonky, so ignore it. Maybe call it Adrenaline? It will probably not fix it. But it can make it bit better.

Individual blocks with selectable texture option like brick or wood. Barring that, some rularuu stuff could be nice.

Just for fun of it. Tier 1 : Lure : Ranged Location AoE, Lure, -Perception. Summons illusionary sounds at targeted location, if enemy close enough they investigate it. It also applies perception debuff when they enter area. Tier 2 : Rewound : You could activate this power to inflict damage on your enemies. But only if they have taken a damage already. If they get hit by 200 damage for example, it will inflict 200 again, which heals after effect ends. Only previous damage counts. You can also use this on allies for healing them temporarily. Tier 3 : Placate : You placate single enemy, pretty boring power that need no explanation. You could also use this on your allies to clear stun, sleep effects. Tier 4 : Hypnotic Gaze : Timed toggle, Cone : Sleep As long as you look towards enemies with this power they will sleep.... for 1 seconds, then, they apply again as long as you maintain contact with the enemy. if you were to turn away at other direction they will recover. Tier 5 : Illusionary Displacement : Ranged (Location AoE), +Defense (Ranged) +Stealth Pretty bit a boring power that provides defense for your allies and yourself with twist. You could collapse this field when you activate again to stun enemies with flash of light. Tier 6 : Torpor : Ranged (Targeted AoE), Foe -Regen, -Rech, -SPD Pretty basic power that slows your enemies. Tier 7 : Spectral Weapons: Click PBAoE Buff You buff your allies with spectral weapons. Every damaging power can activate twice like spectral wounds. With same heal at the end effect. Pretty boring but can't think of replacement. Tier 8 : Phantom Clones : Place (Location AoE) Toggle You place phantom generating field that summons 3 your clones. Each copy has only single hp, they also can't deal any damage whatsoever. They will also have same threat level as you. But when they die, they will inflict random status effect, sleep, stun, confuse or hold with vomit animation. Each time they die you lose -1 Endurance. Up to 9 clones can be generated maximum, field can only generate 1 clone every 3 second. Tier 9 : Summon Doppelganger : When you activate this power, you summon exact copy of yourself for 1-4 minutes, but your copy do nothing but stand in its place, You can activate this power again to switch places with your copy, each switch applies -to hit debuff on nearby enemies. Your copy attacks same as your primary, it can't use your secondary. Additionally, when you take fatal damage (0 hp) it automatically disappears and your character appears on your copy's previous location. Sort of like you were illusion in the first place.

Mez+Knockback/down/up interaction
Darkneblade replied to Darkneblade's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Well thats fine, there is a thing called knockback protection which even squishes easily can get unlike poor mobs.
