When you have a moment, test out your seeds of confusion. I can't confirm anything but it "feels" much better than it has in recent weeks. Could be placebo on my part but it does seem vastly improved as of today on the same enemies I had issues with last week. -
Yep, it does work now, but I can 100% assure you this was NOT working 48 hours ago and has not been working for many months leading up to now. Maybe revisit when they remove the Halloween activities or drop another patch and we can see if it is still working. A quick search on discord and you'll find others discussing the same issue.

Exactly my initial thought. That said, this slotting has been considered the "Meta" choice for a long time now. For several months, perhaps closer to a year this slotting choice has not worked. I had assumed it would be changed or fixed to not accept accurate healing enhancements at some point in time but without that happening I decided to mention it here. Mostly I find it curious that if this was not intended it would have been changed at some point, and its odd that so many folks consider this the Meta choice yet I guess literally none of them have actually looked to see if it were working. It also oddly seems to require hitting an enemy for either Numina's or Miracle procs to trigger, even though they should be active at all times in a toggle that is on, or always on while in an inherent power like Health.

Blaster, Fire Manipilation - Cauterizing Aura and Theft of Essence: Chance for +Endurance. Theft of Essence: Chance for +Endurance is not doing anything under any circumstances when slotted into Cauterizing Aura. It appears to never trigger regardless of enemy saturation or duration spent with the power inflicting damage to enemies. As of October 2nd 2025 this is no longer "broken", the +endurance is triggering when hitting enemies.

I was thinking the same thing, however I have noticed the inspirations are applied just fine in the combat log before any enemy attacks have been attempted, and the untouchable just never seems to occur. If you do manage to survive with team members around you can and will still be taking damage right away from enemies though allies can not heal/buff you. -

Return to Battle is likely the superior choice in nearly every situation, just be aware if there are more than a few enemies around and you're alone, you're instantly dead again, oh and you WILL get debt, it doesnt protect from that either if you suffer the instant kill on rez. -

Neither of them seems to work properly, just as @Doomguide2005 stated. I've tested both on Brainstorm and live multiple times the past 6 or so months and found them to never provide the effect of "Untouchable" listed. If others are around you may live, if you're the first to revive or solo you are instantly killed every single time without fail. They'll do everything besides provide the brief protection. -

It's the second to last power in Fire Primary for controller and dominator, and the updated "Dumpster Fire" version is a skip imo (unless you just must cram a set into the late choices). Sure it was too good slotted kb2kd but it seems there were many ways to change this for the overall better and not make it a Primary skip. Looking at other control sets at level 26 there are some fantastic picks and this went from subjectively the best to one of the worst when it comes to control.

Tested live and beta, it's a fairly substantial nerf. The recharge time I can see being a warranted change. It was honestly too quick to recharge. Enhanced on live it is recharging in just under 3 seconds, on beta enhanced it is recharging just over 5 seconds which is still very fair. However there were more changes than just the recharge. Damage decreased 15% (granted it was never a big hitter nor used for its damage) Recharge time has more than doubled (enhanced time, and still not a big deal as it still recharges very fast.) There were some other changes which are pretty huge though.. AoE radius decreased 50% Range decreased 34.78% Number of enemies hit decreased 37.5% (6 targets fewer than before) These changes in mind, I don't think many folks were calling for Sentinels to be weakened. However the patch notes do state the changes were made to correct any powers that were basically obvious meta choices. They know far better than I do for certain and it will still be fun to play.

Actually it now appears it just flat out fails every time unless it kills every enemy around you on use. Anything that survives will alpha you during the "untouchable" period of time, and you still gain defeat debt. -
Renewal of Light has failed to work for me a few times now. About half of the times that I have used it I have been instantly defeated by melee attacks and still gain xp dept in the process of being defeated after using it (even minions have gotten hits in during this time). Using the power will often NOT result in gaining debt protection or untouchable effect at all.

Tactics removing Domination's +Hit buff.

Thank you! You were right, I always thought the +Hit was the full duration of Domination. -
When buffed with "Domination" on the Dominator archetype if you are already running tactics everything works fine. Any time you toggle tactics to the on position while buffed with Domination you will lose the +Hit portion of Domination. Refreshing Domination will restore the +Hit portion.

Prestige Costumes - "Effect: Shocking" previews in the costume editor are either incorrect, misleading, or not working properly. For example.. • Original, Villainous Charged, Bright Charged, Dark Charged : All show a pulsing spark effect on the hands in costume editor, in play the spark effect occurs the first 2-3 seconds, from then on only a very faint glowing is all that displays. • Heroic Conductive, Villainous Conductive, Bright Conductive, Dark Conductive: All show heavy sparks running over various parts of the body multiple times per second in costume editor, in play the effect is approximately once per second. • Heroic Static, Villainous Static, Bright Static, Dark Static: All show multiple little sparks/flashes about the body with a glowing effect in costume editor, in play the sparks/flashes occur the first 2-3 seconds, then the spark/flash particle effects vanish, the aura and light cast onto the player where there should be sparks still occur.
