  1. Cons: If the image is ever removed from the external host, it's gone the wiki does not cache them. If the webhost that hosts the image goes down, it's gone. If the website you're linking from ever gets annoyed with "Hotlinking" (Linking to a file directly which effectively steals bandwidth from them) and disables hotlinking your image gets replaced with whatever they want. If the website is not under your control the content can be replaced without you knowing. Etc. Pros; IDK... you don't have to spend the extra minute to just upload it?
  2. This is now possible by simply using the File Name from HCWiki: [[Image:Align_Status_Hero.png]] Which will pull the file from HCWiki directly https://fbsa.cityofheroes.dev/wiki/User_talk:Mimiru All images are included directly without me uploading them.
  3. I can likely increase the allowed image file sizes. Edit: I have bumped the size of gifs to 100,000,000 pixels total. Please let me know if this is enough. Edit Edit: I've also allowed for uploading .mp4 and .webms directly which should help as well. Edit Edit, Edit: I've also allowed External images.
  4. Well, I've finished the initial prototype, it works well enough in my testing. If you want to test this, and you have already sorted your characters you may want to backup your existing playerslot.txt, I've not had issues myself though. https://drive.pc-logix.com/s/WFMwS8eeabDc5nr Currently it supports sorting characters alphabetically, or you can drag and drop them. Since there isn't any other information available in the playerslot.txt that's all I can really offer currently.
  5. I'm currently working on something to do just this please excuse the very early screenshot: It looks for a 'playerslot.txt' in any folder in your City of Heroes install (it tries to guess where it is based on where Tequila says, if it can't find the path it will prompt you for it. It then lists any folder it finds the file in as an "Account" then it will further break down per server and then you can sort your characters in the List View.
  6. A heads up! I'm changing servers at the moment, so I've disabled my current websites so I can cleanly move everything over to my new server. If you see suspended pages don't worry once DNS clears up everything will be live on a new machine. Sorry for the inconvenience! Alright, looks like the dust has settled and the move should be complete!
  7. I've loaded those templates, still need to fix the images. I had to run JUST as I started getting errors on the wiki, I've disabled DPL and Semantic Wiki for now, until I can dig in and find the issues.
  8. Sure I could load up the templates if you have them.
  9. Hello! I'm Mimiru, you may recognize me from such projects as "The Unofficial HCWiki", and.. well that's likely all you recognize me from currently :P I decided I could throw another project up for Homecoming: The FBSA Wiki, it is VERY much a BRAND new install of MediaWiki and I've not had a chance to customize anything, but it's a thing https://fbsa.cityofheroes.dev/ Keep in mind I will be doing A LOT of work on this in the near future.
  10. There are long standing issues getting emails out to any Microsoft hosted email address, Outlook, Hotmail, Live, and even Office 365 hosted emails all seem to be rejecting emails from Homecoming. Current best suggestion is to use another provider such as GMail. You can even try to have GMail forward the emails over to your primary account, though that may run into the same blocks but it would be worth a try if you don't want to deal with multiple email accounts.
  11. If you see a single "Unnamed" server then you're likely not launching the game correctly. Please make sure you've validated everything in Tequila/Island Rum and launch the game from there, not by running the cityofheroes.exe directly.
  12. Go into the folder with Tequla.exe, delete the files "tequila.xml", "TequilaActivityLog.txt", and "tequilalog.xml" Leave all other files including "Tequila.exe" alone. Once you've deleted those 3 files launch Tequila and it shouldn't crash anymore.
  13. I've put a copy up https://devtracker.cityofheroes.dev/ though I'm looking to do some performance work as it takes 10+ seconds to load at times.
  14. What kind of resources we talking here? I've currently got a quad core 4GB VM spooled up for this, but if it needs more I might have to make other arrangements.
  15. I'll spin up a server to host this, and anything else you need hosted PK
  16. Restoration should be completed, please let me know if you spot anything broken. Thank you!
  17. Hey all, the wiki is down for a bit while I restore a backup from last night. The hypervisor that runs my webserver hard locked today and in the process seems to have nuked the MariaDB instance that HCWiki uses. I'm working on restoring data as fast as I can though. Backup was taken @ midnight PST last night.
  18. Sadly I couldn't nail down the error in a template, but I discovered the *issue* In sets with a proc or that are unique *IF* the 'InvSetOverview' dec ended in {{IOProc}}}} or {{IOUnique}}}} then it broke the parser, the fix was to replace the '}}}}' with '}} }}' I started doing it by hand, but then installed a mass edit plugin to do it for me. I'm now clearing the page cache to hopefully clear this up wiki-wide
  19. Paragon Wiki has the same issue, so it's not a recent edit that has happened on our side https://archive.paragonwiki.com/wiki/Very_Rare_IO_Sets Which will make it harder to track down. I'll take a look in a few hours if someone else hasn't found it. EDIT: It looks to be in the DPL, which is a brace nightmare.. it'll take a while.
  20. Dump generator doesn't so much "Scrape" it, it uses the API to dump the contents to XML which you can then directly import into Mediawiki.
  21. https://github.com/WikiTeam/wikiteam/blob/master/dumpgenerator.py
  22. At the bottom of the Atlas Park Zone template, is the line "|VidiotMap=Atlas Park" looking at the wikitext for https://hcwiki.cityofheroes.dev/index.php?title=Template:Zone&action=edit Shows that this takes the text from that line "Atlas Park" and transforms it into Media:Atlas_Park_VidiotMap.png Knowing this, you can simply upload a new version of the file "Atlas_Park_VidiotMap.png" here: https://hcwiki.cityofheroes.dev/wiki/File:Atlas_Park_VidiotMap.png Or simply upload a file with a new name and use "|VidiotMap2=New Atlas Park" or whatever to include a 2nd link below the original. Though really updating the existing file with the updated version would make the most sense, IMO.
  23. Yeah.. it looks like my webserver is being DDoSed at the moment. Fun times.
  24. The hidden content should now be fixed, you may need to force a cache clear in your browser: Firefox / Safari: Hold Shift while clicking Reload, or press either Ctrl-F5 or Ctrl-R (⌘-R on a Mac) Google Chrome: Press Ctrl-Shift-R (⌘-Shift-R on a Mac) Internet Explorer: Hold Ctrl while clicking Refresh, or press Ctrl-F5 Opera: Go to Menu → Settings (Opera → Preferences on a Mac) and then to Privacy & security → Clear browsing data → Cached images and files.
