  1. yes but that's not her only reason for being was my point. If it was you'd get it for the first hit
  2. Leave her as she is. She's not a tool for you to gain a badge. She's a whimsy to be cherished and treasured in a world of instant gratification. Some things are worth waiting for!
  3. Please don't take my suggestions as literal lore. I'm imaginating!
  4. I learned that lesson the hard way on live!
  5. I forgot to mention kites! A kite that drags you in the direction you want to go, above the ground would be a lot of fun
  6. I tried a Mind/TA on live because I've enjoyed both sets on different builds but from memory it was painfully slow to get anywhere. I've never really played Grav anything or Elec anything either Dark/Poison is a complete beast so I can see where you're going with some of tose That's interesting. I've not played /Dark much at all and not much Fire either but I'd rather steer clear of fire as per above My one experience of Symph was underwhelming. But I'm also aware that some combos need a good synergy so Symph/Dark sounds potentially interesting indeed
  7. Grant Creston is now bald from so many people plucking his hair! But I do agree it is cool!
  8. Realistically, the only way PVP is going to get better in this game is to radically overhaul the mechanics of it and create a new PVP shard for those who want to do it. I'm a big fan of it. On live on the EU servers I created the "Friday Night Fight Club" as some of you may remember, but that quickly evolved into very low level PVP (typically from level 5-10) because that was one of the few ways you could make it equitable. The real tragedy for PVP in this game is there are some great zones, great prizes and interesting story lines that are left to lie fallow and unused because the rest of PVP totally sucks. I would like to see PVP rebalanced to take into account the strength of the various ATs rather than regression towards the mean that we have now where Defenders are basically top dog, and make the new PVP shard playable in all zones (probably with a challenge/flag arrangement so that people can go about their business peacefully when they need to.)
  9. I really like the purchasable powers for travelling: So far we have three, Rocket Board, Flying Carpet & Void Skiff Those are all great but they are limited in scope, mostly because they: a) are all flight powers and b) limited in looks and style It would be great if we could get different colour variants (I know there are mods available but I want everyone to see my shiny!) but also different powers that have a similar function. I'm thinking here like a zip line, or maybe a balloon, or even a Trebuchet that can hurl you great distances across a zone - stuff like that. Functionally no different to those above we have already just variants on a theme so disabling powers and getting you in style and comfort (or not) from point A to point B with fun and frolics!
  10. you could do much worse than an SoA. The only thing they really lack is holds
  11. You've given me great input into the Power set @Bionic_Flea thanks. That's come close to selling it. I would probably have chosen Leviathan if they included Bile Spray in it simply because I just love the thought of that power 😎 I will deffo look at it. Thanks
  12. Run Jump Fly is the toughest Olympic Triathlon event, but looks fantastic when the athletes get it right (which is rare!) I used to take fly almost exclusively but so many powers are gimped by it, stuff you just can't cast even at 0 feet, so I often take CJ These days I only occasionally take a travel power, because rocket boards and void skiffs are good and cheap and even the magic carpet can be made to fit. If I have to choose something, it will be thematically driven as best as possible!
  13. Working on one but this is more of a philosophical/thematic question rather than a build specific issue.
  14. Thanks @Etched but your suggestion doesn't solve my problem. I'm going well with all variants and I have no impulse to change (I've got 2 versions each of Vitric Vixen and The Glass Fox) - I'm not looking to build more as part of this experience. I'm just needing help with an epic pool that reflects the idea that her powers are glass.
  15. Well it's not a problem for you. I've always been a firm advocate for playing your game the way you want to so I won't criticise you for that. I don't have enough data to say whether or not your perspective is unique, but it seems like it may be quite common. I do know from many attempts that it's almost impossible to get a regular team formed goldside - which is a shame because there is some seriously great teamworthy content on both sides. I wonder if it's not worth the Devs offering some form of incentive to encourage play on less well supported sides, but what that form might take I don't know because I do not know what is technically possible.
  16. I appreciate that - but it does give me a mule slot for an LotG and I have the powers space as things stand
  17. I have run into an issue on one iteration of The Glass Fox. She's the Ice/Ice crupper and she is dynamite - very potent and potentially quite tanky when I get my controls in the right order... BUT.... She is very very end heavy. I've noticed that seems to be a common denominator with Ice based powers, they are strong but they all suck end badly. Also, I've gotten to level 40 and I'm looking at an APP/PPP and there is no ice. Obviously glass is the concept and there is no good power to represent that. Ice isn't available and I've struggled to think what fits well. I've mostly settled for Mace Mastery which gives a very powerful shield and a pretty ok and impressive pet with the handwave justification that "she stole it from Arachnos" which while I can live with that is unsatisfying. I'd looked at Power Mastery and also Psychic Mastery but Power seems... well it solves a lot of End problems but doesn't offer many other benefits and Psychic does give a useful resist bonus and a confuse but nothing that fits well thematically. Overall it's proving to be quite unsatisfying and I'm struggling. Suggestions please!
  18. I'm working on a build now where I have a few slots available so I might take both, and shove a stealth proc in one of my Sprint powers. That'll learn 'em 🙂 Thanks for the input! You've confirmed what I suspected with useful bonus info!
  19. Gonna say this is completely outside of my own experience.
  20. I've noticed that few players are engaged Redside. I've seen a lot of players on various servers in Mercy hanging out in the starting zone. NOBODY has responded to me when I have broadcast about starting a DFB and they are pretty well all low level. Similarly with Rikti raids, I've tried a couple of times to get stuff going as the Rikti invade the Isles, and only a smattering of people even bother to respond. It's weird - as though the attitude of players when they cross over is "this is the solo game now"
  21. I do but I'm usually dead by that stage! 🤣
  22. This refers back to The Glass Fox which you can read about if interested but it raised an interesting question Stealth at face value is better... or is it? I get the idea that Stealth falls away if you act, in terms of attacking, buffing or doing anything much in front of an enemy. I don't see that in the description of Arctic Fog. But (from memory) attacking or acting using other stealth powers does effectively negate the stealth. So is Artic Fog unique in that you retain the stealth and its defence benefits or is there an omission in the description? IF I took both, I appreciate they don't stack but will I get some benefit (my thinking here is that Stealth can act as a mule for an LotG but is it worth it? Thoughts, fellow Paragonads?
  23. Difficult to do. Nobody see him coming (because he closes the lid)
