  1. Many would love Clowns, but a significant portion of the fan base would hate that and those people matter too. I don't think it's ever going to happen and that's ok in my book.
  2. /jranger
  3. I would seriously LOVE to be able to just sit in a bloody chair without a load of faffing around with emotes. I would love a zip line style travel power I would love tentacles as a power set, either ones that extend from the fingers (blocky hands in our case) or the back or torso. They would fit melee and control power sets well I think Alternative pet models would be great, for existing pet powers, especially some of the controller sets. I'd quite like a "Musician" MM power set. Different musicians, with various instruments, setting their grooves on enemy mobs and destroying them with the coolest of sounds! Can you dig it?
  4. then slot for +Acc
  5. Indeed. It would have cost them little if they put the game in maintenance mode and arguably caused them a great deal less hassle in the long run. I may be being overly cynical here but I strongly suspect they felt that they had to give HC a licence as their least bad option. They were never going to be able to put the smoke back in the bottle and having an "officially sanctioned" operation means they retain at least a modicum of control over it.
  6. Easy mistake to make. Don't be embarrassed - you've probably answered a question other players were too shy to ask!
  7. I can confirm this because his wife told me that it's true! 🤯
  8. were you using stealth or any other form of invisibility? If they can't see you they won't follow you. That's the only reason I can think immediately.
  9. Perhaps. I also think a lot of it is "get this done move on to the next ASAP" - which sometimes diminishes the game IMO. Personally I find that I enjoy games much more if the team coordinates together and works as a team. It feels more like an accomplishment
  10. Speeding's always been a thing - it was common on Defiant before GR and Freedom launched. Mostly it started for the tedious hunts on things like Numina, where zoning and "Defeat X of Y" was a real bugbear but it got much worse towards sunset simply because people realised they could do 3 TFs in the time it usually takes to do 2 and that meant extra merits for their effort. Personally I hate that. I enjoy the experience for its own sake and people who decide to grandstand annoy me. But of course the team lead does have the option of kicking the worst offenders, and players can decide to call it a day before the TF ends if it's just too horrid to persevere.
  11. I stand corrected, thanks for the info.
  12. I was dabbling on a Mind/Poison last night. Only low level but very potent. Psi powers are very poorly resisted by mobs, same as Poison so there's a kind of double whammy and there's a few single target powers there for better effect.
  13. I used to enjoy running PVP events. I feel like we should organize a few more!
  14. I rarely play melee toons and as a consequence of that I loathe taking the Fighting Pool powers. They are so wasteful on a good build if you're not getting into the thick of things, but sometimes feel necessary. I especially dislike having to take a melee power I will never use (you get 2 good Prestige melee powers from P2W vendors) just to get the others and there are often superior solutions out there. On the rare occasions that I have taken melee toons (tanks and brutes only) I've never found the Fighting Pool to be an absolute requirement... so in many ways it seems so niche as to be almost redundant for my play style. You also have a hard on for attuning stuff. I would never attune a proc unless I got one at significantly higher level than I usually play... so if I exemp down it still works. If you're exemping down a great deal, I'd suggest you're paying way too much for a build. I would prefer to make a 2nd build and use cheaper IOs and cheap invention sets at an appropriate level. You have a choice of 3 builds per character at level 50 after all.
  15. I've mostly moved permanently to a new shard and I'm having a great time. Population is good but no queuing, friendly folks (more so than on the main two) and I feel like I'm making good progress and got some new globals. For me this has worked well and I've considered moving more characters to Indom, but that would mean relinquishing my SGs and bases and I'm crap at base building so I don't want to have to redo all of that... It's also no real hardship to let my 50s languish on other shards... that gives me some characters to play should I feel the urge in future.
  16. Make Grandville grate, again!
  17. Stuff is easy to find, if you know where to look and that's not always apparent here
  18. #fixtitforya
  19. Was there not a mod tool that allowed players to change the sounds locally? I thought it was reasonably popular on live but I may be misremembering.
  20. Do they ever?
