It should be incumbent on the group leader to ensure everyone knows what is required in such a TF before kicking off. If that didn't happen, who's fault is it?

I'm working from memory here but there were a few missions in TFs and trials where certain terminals/objects had to be activated simultaneously. This includes Virgil Tarikos finale, Clamor finale in Penny Yin and a couple of others that I don't recall including TPN. It became next to impossible to coordinate that, especially if someone dropped from the team so the mechanic was (rightfully IMO) changed to allow them to be clicked sequentially.

every time I see this title I'm expecting the announcement of a brand new, very difficult AV called Protocol. It is so tough that it may be necessary for players to petition a GM to help them defeat said AV.

truthfully I don't think I've ever encountered anyone who gives hover effects much mind. I'm wondering if the complaint about bright powers might not be inadvertently referring to some other power - Steamy Mist comes to mind as having quite a blurring effect if not modified carefully. But although the OP has been given plenty of alternative options I do think it's important to avoid a pile on. There are many ways to play this game and dealing with FX in game are relatively simple so let's not get too hot under the collar. Aside from anything else I've no desire to see more shots of Luminara's shaven pussy, no matter how attractive some might find it. Let's give the OP benefit of the doubt and presume they did not know of any potential fixes. Now they do and so next time can deal with similar situations without bother. Let everyone play their own game!

Atta is underrated. It's a great continuation of the Hollows story and I believe is really the finale of the zone's arcs. It's a shame that most do Frostfire and bugger off.

just because he never saw any doesn't mean they don't exist! Team cohesion and teamwork both count for a lot even on a "chill" team. I would argue it's impossible to be chill without such elements

To address the OPs opening, I suppose it's absolutely possible that the person responsible for forming the TF totally forgot they are +2. It can happen and if nobody else noticed until it was too late. That happens. No blame need to be apportioned. It's just a game, after all!

Storm/Dark Defenders You get Freezing Rain earlier than Sleet (same power different name) nothing can come near you to melee you and the ranged stuff won't be able to touch you because it's blind

I usually start with a concept. Some of you have already engaged with my various musings on the forums so you might have an idea of what I enjoy playing. Usually... but not always. Especially if new powers or sets drop then I will often experiment with those. (Oddly enough I've just not had time to get to Arsenal stuff yet so busy with existing characters due to terminal altisis) I will very frequently use the random button in the CC a few times just to get me started - but I get annoyed with it with all the various animal heads. If there's one thing I'd love it would be for a "lock" option on the rando button so you could lock in costume items you like and further clicks wouldn't change the locked items. That would actually give it some real use!

I wouldn't object to Manti going dark but do you have any specific reference to "ye olde lore bible" that we can check? I hate Manti almost as much as I hate Scirocco - Manti is a low grade bat/iron man clone - tech billionaire with a shit ton of toys (which in today's world seems laughable) I may be missing out on Lore/Mission arcs but I've seen nothing past Mot eating them. If there is something I would love you to point me at it. I do note that you say "presumably" so I <presume> that you may be filling in gaps inyour own mind rather than quoting actual lore. Forgive if I am wrong.
