A lot will depend on the character and the SG and what it means to you. If the SG is important, then it may well be better to recreate that character on the new shard and level them to 50. That doesn't take very long at all these days.

not recently had an issue with this largely because I've relocated to Indom and I've had fewer characters there - even after transferring some from other shards. Mostly I am guided by the emotional connection that I have to a character once it's got to 50. My typical MO is to roll a toon, run it to 50, get it at least partially slotted and incarnated then see how I feel about it. Some characters have a far bigger impact on me than others and they will be at the top of my shard list ready for the next level 50 content. Then those I'm working on in various stages usually in some semblance of level order and 50s that are very unlikely to get much attention at the back.

I don't see an MM's minions necessarily as pets. Some obviously are, beasts and demons for example, but thugs could very easily be an agglomeration of like-minded individuals grouping around the smartest guy in the room to get the task done. Tarzan and Dr Doolittle could easily be MMs in a sense too.

I'm not usually a fan of time travel stories, or alternate realities for that matter But truthfully the whole Ouroboros thing, which was created for characters to run content they had missed, is a truly inventive and imaginative solution to solving that issue and some of the spin off stories can be very fun as well.

Kill them all. The Lord shall know His own! But I would also have to say that an Illusion troller is possibly not the best choice for someone who's never played anything other than DPS. It's not an awful choice and this game is relatively forgiving but there might be better options. That said, if she's enjoying it, then it's all good

I hate DP. I just don't like the look or the way it plays but otherwise it's a good suggestion. It certainly busts those moves.

Spandex Ballet lives She's a Staff/SR Brute. We started as a scrapper but then I remembered that according to the song "you're indestructible" so... I figured that would give her additional survivability. I checked both Kin Melee and Staff and both are great choices (I checked out most primary sets to be fair) but it came down to a coin toss as to which to choose so I chose Staff simply because I haven't played any iteration of that ever. That said I think Kin/SR would do great so if it turns out I hate Staff I will rebuild her I'm was also able to rock that 80s look in the CC with a bit of licence. The only thing I didn't go for there was the leg warmers - because the "baggy socks" in the CC looks like shit so I avoided that. I've tried taking a pic but it just didn't come out right. For some reason aliasing is higher in pics I take than in the actual game and getting camera angles right is well nigh impossible. Thanks guys, this has been many funs!

I find my lack of inf disturbing I caught myself bemoaning my short supply of inf the other night while trying to build a character to completion. However, it then occurred to me that in itself a lack of inf is a good thing because it encourages us to play the game, to earn the inf to build our characters to be the best they can be. Slotting from scratch is probably one of the biggest challenges in game - at least if you're getting close to a min/max build and need lots of procs, ATO sets and the like so it gives us a solid goal that is not readily completed unless you hoard all the things and have bucketloads of readies to hand to do that the moment you ding 50. So without the wherewithal to hand, I am forced to actually play the game, do missions, earn inf and other goodies in order to fulfil my dreams of being the best version of me that I can and... well that's rather fantastic actually. It means I have a reason to play, I enjoy playing, fulfil goals and engage with fellow players. That, to me is what an MMO is all about. I'm not poor by any stretch of the imagination but because I need to play to earn to build it works out great and I would say my experience is better than just racing to 50 before slotting and forgetting.

The question is not what's wrong with the Incarnate system, but rather what's right with it? There was a dire need for some quality end game and some of it that we have now is ok.... but by and large there is so much bad writing there and the entire concept of the "Well of the Furies" still grates and rankles as an abysmal effort of storytelling. But we have what we have and I doubt we'll ever get it retconned because it's too embedded in the game. Maybe CoH2...?

I was Badging over Goldside and thought of this issue when catching the transit. That problem doesn't exist there and so your entrance and exits are exactly the same

Again I'm not greatly familiar with melee attacks but I'd love to know your reasoning. From what I've seen of Street Justice that doesn't seem especially graceful or dance-like even if it is brutal
