Anyone up for kicking this off today? I've got some time today so wanted to get stuff under way!

There should definitely be an enemy group called Badgers and they should award... nothing. No matter how many you defeat. But there should be a tally of them all the same.

I love controllers in this game and all other MMOs seem to miss them... I played TSW for a long time after shutdown and most encounters left me wishing I'd got a lockdown to stop zombies or giant mutant moths eating me... I love the variety of effects - ultimately a mez is a mez, a hold is a hold, a stun a stun but each power set seems to have a unique and distinct flavour that I don't feel with blast sets. I also find the controller secondaries complement them well... and mixing and matching can give very different effects and feelings too.

I don't mind him. I wasn't clear enough in my original post. Sure, he is being super serious but there is a fair point... remember as a community we've been very proud of ourselves for a very long time, and generally we are quite open and progressive and amenable - a friendly place for newbies and vets alike - it's surprisingly rare. We should all strive to maintain that.

For the record, and I'm genuinely sad that people didn't easily spot this, I was being extremely sarcastic and I would have thought it obvious that it was a side-eyed take on the fact that discussions of all kinds are great until they devolve to disagreement - and politics has a great tendency to go that way because as has already been noted, politics are often seen as part of a person's identity, part of makes them what they are. So when challenged it can be... difficult to hear and results in pushback. And to be fair to the devs, moderators and majority of players, they don't come here to discuss stuff that's not relevant to being superheroic and entertained in a game. I should have been more obvious

the only times there are issues around political discussions in any environment, is when people who should know much better fail to agree with my point of view by not acceding to my correctness just to reiterate, this is sarcasm as I'd hoped people would already deduce but it seems not everyone did

I made a post regarding this some while back - I trried to find the relevant post but my search fu is fail. It seems this isn't likely to be resolved in our lifetimes so we have to think of alternative options.

I do like the pets on ranged characters ... I found they are crap on anything that gets within sptting distance to mobs because they run in and melt - but I play a lot of controllers so it's just another pet to juggle and on my Huntsman I have about 6 pets at full strength which is fun

My enemy's enemy is my friend. Heroes and villains often unite, even if only temporarily to counter a common foe.

I can tell you this is an outstanding combination. I'd also suggest that Earth/Thermal is excellent especially in teams light on support - and a Dark/Poison can be truly devastating!
