I think Dark Dark reaches its ultimate on the Brute. It is easier to be survivable on the Tank but achievable on the Brute. Like almost same survivability. Then there is the fact that the Dark Armor “Tanks” really poorly. Not in survivability, but in design. Part of the survivability of Dark is the stealth field. In survivability Def>Res>Heal. Dark literally stands this on its head. No defense or nearly none. No defenses debuff resistance so worthless to build. Instead Stealth, two toggles that do crowd control, massive to hit debuffs, and the best heal in the game. But that stealth, non suppressed stealth. Bad from a Tanker perspective. Great on a Brute this same statement will apply to Savage / Dark play to Dark's strengths and be stronger, or twist it like taffy to make it invulnerability. but in that case just take invulnerability.

As was pointed out “Fast Snipe” activates in combat. This changes Snipe by lowering damage, lowering range, and having a normal cast. if Fast Snipe is active there is a circle around Snipe power button ”Normal Snipe” has the very longe activation period, long range, and really big damage. It is NOT usable “ in combat” (if you are attacked or have been attacking in the last couple seconds). it would be easy to complain about this. Except this is the upgrade lol. Back in the day (when we walked to school uphill both ways in the snow, on our hands). There was NO fast snipe. The power was only useful out of combat. Then it was gone from your attack chain. And it is a GOOD part of a ranged DPS chain.

here is a spreadsheet i made a couple years ago. it is not perfect, but (not including arcs added since) is about 99% mult means contact has multiple level ranges. one thing to remember is bluside has a LOT of "duplicate mission givers" Red/Gold none. My Fire Fire Fire Blaster is on Iron Man rules. He has a self rez, and that of course does not count. Likewise being rezzed by a teammate. And I have done some 2 and 4 star stuff with him. Those deaths do not count. Well he has used some rezzes and hospitals besides that. But i forgot to count those. So they dont count. He is doing great for a vet level 110 Iron Man Fire Blaster.

this struck me as incredibly on point. The USMC (Uncle Sugar's Misguided Children) has been a fanatical force since they were formed. Although they have a long American history as an organized and trained military force this is not what scares the shit out of anyone that faces them. They are not the Green Berets, or Navy Seals. In some wars they are largely draftees (Vietnam,,,,) What the USMC has is a history of acting like a Honey Badger in any fight they get in. Both individually and as complete units there are countless tales of an overwhelmed marine (or marine unit) just digging in and fighting against truly stupid odds. And sometimes they succeed, sometimes they succeed but with heavy casualties, and sometimes they get their asses handed to them. But whoever they fought.... they never seem to want to face Marines in combat again. Longbow are an extreme force of fanatics. They are not some UN police force. From the lowly rifleman to the Ballista these F-ers are a fight you know you need to bring your A game to. Now that you have compared them to Marines I believe it is time for me to explore A Longbow toon. Thoughts are already dancing. Sentinel....?
