Before COV was released, they did a pvp event where the devs played as the Freedom Phalanx in Bloody Bay and also prior to the game shutting down, Arcanaville ran an event on test where they were basically a gamemaster and spawned stuff for people to fight. I think events like that would be fun to try and do. I know it's not quite building interest in large organized pvp, but it would be an alternative that people may enjoy.
  2. I really want "Pseudo" PvP. Think Incarnate trials or TFs where a player is playing as Lord Recluse or some other AV. It would require the league or team to play a lot more dynamically than just wait out patterns.

  8. Thank you to everyone that made it out to smol kb! It was awesome seeing 50+ people on discord and having three 8v8s going simultaneously. Congrats to all the contests winners and stand outs. Also a big shout out to everyone that helped put the event together and kept it running for 3+ hours. Special shout out to the GMs for their support and giving attention to the PvP community. Finally, thank you to smallz for all she does. Can't wait for the next one 😃

  10. - Accessibility of stat enhancing accolades: I like CM Banana Man's suggestion of just a global HP/End buff in PvP zones and arena. If that isn't possible, I suggest the creation of stat enhancing accolades that only work in PvP zones and arena. An idea I had previously suggested was to tie in collecting all the exploration badges similar to how non pvp-zones have a corresponding reward for collecting all the badges in a specific zone. 5% end accolade for all exploration badges in bloody bay 5% hp accolade for all exploration badges in siren's call 10% hp badge for all explorations badges in warburg 5% hp 5% end badge for all exploration badges in recluse's victory This way at least it's still tied into pvp while being something to be earned. -Zone of the week: Set a "pvp zone of the week" to encourage activity in the other zones besides RV. If possible, double the amount of reputation earned from defeating an enemy player for the weekly zone and increase the drop rate of PvP IOs from defeating an enemy player. A more dramatic idea would be for that specific zone to be made free for all (like warburg) or raised to level 50 temporarily (like RV). Honestly I would be happy if Warburg were increased to 50. It's THE most neutral map do to the rogue enemy faction. RV has the problem of VERY unevenly powered NPC mobs between the two sides. -Implement the maps that we voted for months ago. -Have an IO vendor (the NPCS currently at Arena terminals) that sell IOs that only give set bonuses in PvP. -Reduce or eliminate the heal penalty from absorb pain type powers. I know this has been suggested multiple times but it can't be emphasized enough that the penalty no longer has a place at this point in the game. -This last one is straight out of left field and I know 99.9% of people probably won't agree and will probably even laugh at the idea: BUFF ASSASSIN STRIKE ON STALKERS. Yes I said it! With how much damage snipes, and certain outlier powers do, and also with how server ticks are on this server compared to live, there is very little incentive to AS someone at the moment over just Greater Psi Blading them. Make AS more unresistable and expand it's current range by 5 or 10 feet. Stalker's occupy this weird area where they are very effective for entry level PvP against player's who root a lot and haven't learned how to evade and break line of sight but becomes less and less effective against higher level competition. Landing an AS at all in an 8v8 arena match without assistance from a Dom/Troller actually takes some effort and at that level stalkers are just outclassed and outpaced by anything with ranged attacks.

  12. A pretty self explanatory QoL suggestion. Upon completion of a KHTF by a team, both of the GMs spawn somewhere in zone. It would make getting the accolade a lot easier instead of sometimes waiting hours for them to show up on their own.
  13. Upon spawning into a PvP zone, you are unaffectable by other players for a certain time. So even if they were camping you would have enough time to put distance between them and yourself.
  14. Pretty self explanatory. Would it be possible for PvP zone beacons to be added for the bases? I know it's only a mild inconvenience at most to get to the PvP zones but it would still be a nice QoL addition.

  20. on Hybrid Assault: If you are farming, you’ll be at or near damage cap from combining reds (if you arent combining reds while farming, start doing so). the double hit therefore gives you something that the + damage cant. You can always pop more reds, theres no insp to give you the double hit effect.
  21. The problem with warshades is that there aren’t enough of them to power the battalion’s warships. Until the battalion gets here, we are doomed to repeat the same content D=

  24. Picking up Acrobatics and Combat Jumping will fix that hole. If you are building just for Arena, then you only need one big hitter and a follow up...you will never have time to get off anything more than that. So you will have plenty of room to insert those two abilities into your build. Also, Arena PvP, don't even bother picking up Assassin's Strike...it's useless in Arena PvP. Your target will die long before you even set up for AS. Your job as the Stalker in Arena PvP is to Stun your target, so that your team can obliterate your target in milliseconds. That is your only function. So you want your biggest hitter that also stuns/slows/Immobs, whatever you have to stop your target long enough for your team to obliterate your target. When you enter the world of Arena PvP, you enter a whole different type of PvP. It's not the same as Zone PvP at all and requires a completely different build to be a productive member of your team. Zone or Arena, you should always take Assassin Strike. Always. When have you ever seen a stalker use Assassin Strike in Arena? I would love to see video of this. Video uploader is Unholy Weapon on his stalker, Im the other stalker on his team.
