I don't know if you can lay blame on any one specific thing. That kill window is really tight. Sometimes it could be some people not paying as close attention to the bars of all 3 AVs, sometimes its the RNG hp boost one of them randomly gets. It is a hard badge to get in all honesty, I wouldn't out and blame any one specific thing. When organizing the Magisterium I'd iterate if this is the badge your seeking the most that this is the part you highlight for people to pay attention to, the rest of the itrial is cake if you can get this one down. I'd be sure to gameplan this for everyone as you're putting together the team, keep it simple "this is the part you need to pay attention to", have fun the rest of the way. No pets, split up the teams pretty evenly, I'd even say put a smidge more damage on Chimera thanks to his teleport. Slow crawl from 5hp then to 2hp and try to burn them after you've overcome any recent sudden hp gain once they're all back down on 2hp.

Holy hell is that the ancient Nosferatu texts? Before reading these remember you'll need to recite "Klaatu, Barada, Nikto" or you'll doom us all.

You want a detailed list of what us villains get up to? Hmmm I'll pass along the word to Westin Phipps that you're looking for some action, he's a good guy, has some great whisky, make sure to drink your fill...

I don't see these epic pools for blasters as having anything eye popping great like where some other AT's get some goodies in theirs. Blasters are already eye popping good to begin with so it's not a problem their epics are ho-hum. I typically will go with Force Mastery on some of my blasters. A few I will go with another pool like munitions, surveillance is quite great. For me some of the pools here on blasters it's more of a thematic reason to go with it. I won't go Fire though seeing how Bonfire is broken abusive. Two resist shields and pff which you can slot a lotg, decent default pool I'd say. Typically I never use the godmode though unless things are cascading out of hand which if that's the case I'd like to have a way to boost my defenses back to high levels since the reason I'd need the godmode is that my defenses got debuffed hard. Pairing high defenses with high resists is great though.

That's a more reasonable reason not to want to make use of that beautiful Golden Giza. But like you said there's already all kinds of other things in game people get lost in which takes away from the available player pool. If they can make that casino interact-ably social then why not? Maybe a Golden Giza itirial perhaps...

All good. I had to reassess some of my stubborn ways after I came back, lots of changes, it's best to be fluid. I usually only team as well. What does it matter if you drop a sleet on a low level group that'll just get obliterated by someone's nuke anyways? If you can just get almost the same effect out of Dark Consumption slotted with that -res proc as Sleet but then it also does moderate damage and by the way fills your endo back up then you can follow that up with a Soul Drain and Dark Obliteration to spike all that extra aoe damage then get a buff that'll carry you to the next group how isn't that great for your team? You should see how my animal of a Mind/Nrg/Soul doms plays some time. You go worship your ice cubes I'll be over here letting the souls of my enemies power me. 😜

Why spec just for teamming when you can do everything Ice Mastery can do and better in Soul Mastery? All that aoe damage plus slotting the pvp -res proc to fire is far more effective in speed runs, hard runs, solo, wherever you want to play. See, why skip such a nice resist shield in your epic when it can act in lieu of one of your inspirations? So instead of 2 or 3 purple/oranges you now can use just 1 for the same survivability so then you can skimp on those defensive ones and bring a bunch of reds or greens if you need heals. Plus then you're missing out on the bonuses/uniques that are great to slot into these things. Maybe it's me but I see no reason to skip an Epic shield that is easily offered up to you. I appreciate the difference of opinion but I don't see Ice to be the beauty that you think it is.

Well. Soul Mastery nets you Soul Drain which boosts your damage 100% and tohitt 30%, lasts for 30s and the attack also does good damage on its own. Surely that compensates for the 17% -res to +4 groups you are fighting. Then you get Dark Obliteration which is quite a nice blast at 16 targets, does decent damage and provides -tohitt all packed in a 1s animation. The resist shield is fantastic it nets you S/L/Neg/Tox resist, better than that ice shield. The icing on the cake is Dark Consumption. It's an emergency endurance refill, provides yet more pbaoe damage for you and you are also able to slot the pvp -res proc into it which it'll sure fire for the same affect as your Sleet. Not to mention the pet is quite good damage as well. Soul is all full of win, Ice Mastery is a one trick pony.

Gambling is not illegal in most places in the US. It's illegal for minors because we'd rather give kids a chance to form their foundation first before we throw them at the wolves. If EA can get away with charging kids cold hard cash for lootboxes in FIFA and Madden what moral grandstanding is there to be had with all imaginary values? Mind you I'm all for these gaming companies having their predatory practices reigned in. If there's not one cent exchanging hands on this game how does your reference to Gambling apply in this instance as @Ukase is trying to make sense of your logic?

You prefaced this topic with your first sentence acknowledging it's somewhat of a joke request. I appreciate your right to conversation but there's plenty of other avenues already in place to appreciate the human form. I'm all for more costume options (I'm looking at you seer robes) although there'll be no talent in crafting a nude costume, even if you sprinkle in some heels. Hard pass, this is unnecessary in every way.
-
Well, I'll take your word on it, its much easier to monitor my own combat values. I skimp on them anyways, teammates should just feel lucky I even buff them. 😜 Likely some cold resistance in those shields I take it. I don't get off of my doms very much but cold's are doin just fine anyways.

Have to agree about Villains and Praetoria having the superior story content. You can tell how much more detail they put into their story telling with each expansion. Goldside they really refined their approach it's just too bad it mostly was a new tutorial zone, wish that stuff just started at 35+ and you could easy access it with something as easy as ouro.

Plant is the best dom control. Hard to mess it up. A lot of assaults I'd assume would synergize well when paired with the top dog so pick the one that fits your fancy. I'd recommend looking at the assaults they revamped a while back. If you're going to go /Fire you're pretty much locked into taking the Fire epic pool. If you're thinking of something other than /Fire I'd say have a look at all the dom epic pools, they're all quite good in their own right and really round out your character, think of those pools as your SecondaryB to see what would pair well.

Power boost is very much worth taking in a build. Most all characters that can get it already are able to take Aim or Build Up and then can also add this weapon. Speaking on my Cold Corruptor I get Power Boost from Soul Mastery which I can also get Soul Drain and I also have Aim from my primary. I use power boost for Unleash Potential but I can also skimp on the team shields with just a lotg and power boost them for good defense values. In of itself Build Up may or may not be better than just Power Boost but most every character can get both. Dom's get Power Build Up which gets you half the damage boost of BU along with the power boosting abilities which imo outdoes BU. You're just subbing out the +tohitt portion a regular BU would get you but you can boost your tohitt from other things. Power Boost does not increase the mag as you've been told it doesn't yes. But being in Domination and then also power boosting your control to last for days is such a weapon. Then while I'm boosting my controls I'm also boosting all of my defenses and tactics. Then I have gone Soul Mastery so then the +tohitt I get out of Soul Drain also gets boosted, the end drain in Dark Consumption also gets boosted so that I don't even have to slot it for endurance modification and with just a few targets I go from 5 end to full. Power Boost affords creativity that any other power cannot, it's such a great weapon to have, don't let others tell you otherwise.

Power boost affects +tohitt, control, defense buffs, quite a bit of things actually. If there's a power with resistances hardcoded into that power then power boost will not affect that power. Your toggles like weave and tactics get a buff for the 15s that power boost is active then they lower back to regular. For example I have Unleash Potential slotted to net me 21% defense to all. Now when I power boost then click Unleash Potential it'll add another 50% of that defense value to the power. So for the longer lasting defense buffs power boosting is phenomenal, I get 31% defense out of Unleash Potential for the full minute rather than the 15s. Then I alternate in the incarnate Barrier to maintain high defenses. I can't power boost Barrier though because resistance is hard coded into it along with the defense. Power boost is a very quietly underrated power but those that know what it can do would never trade it for something like BU or Aim. It is a bit abused in some cases like Time because their self buff can be power boosted and then they can also double dip into Unleash Potential for easy perma capped defenses. So don't get used to it because they are tinkering with how power boost affects things thanks to Time.

I'll give you what I aim for on my Energy and Soul powers. I'd go with all of those powers in Energy but I'd drop Whirling Hands. All of those Soul powers are better to make use of, WH is one attack too many, to me I'd either keep Dark Obliteration or WH which I like the blast more, its more targets, faster animation and does -tohitt with just about the same damage. Your Bone Smasher, Total Focus and Power Burst are how I'd slot them. Power Up you just need the one 50+5 IO in it so just one slot. Snipe I have 3 Manticore's for the ranged defense bonus targeting dmg/acc/end enhancement . Snipe is where I get creative and add the decimation proc and the force feedback proc, they fire well in it. For Soul I slot Soul Drain to 5 with the Armageddon set, Dark Obliteration with 5 posi's, Dark Embrace I 4 slot Unbreakable Guard with the hp unique and I slot Dark Consumption with 5 Sp Avalanche and the pvp -res proc 6th. Or 3 slots on Dark Consumption with the -res proc being one.

If they are as fun for your enemies to fight as they are for when you are fighting them then they aught to be good right? Fighting Reichsman and seeing 300pt orange numbers when he's in his godmode then you hit him with your best shot for 5pts then you realize its your Dark Mistress doing that damage that hussy.
-
Force of Will pool. You can powerboost Unleash Potential for 31% defense to all for a minute at a time and with building for high recharge to attain permadom it'll recharge fast enough to where you can use the incarnate Barrier to alternate in to maintain high defense and have UP recharged to keep you going. This gimmick added with all the other defense bonuses you should be aiming for will set you up real nice. UP also gives end management and I also take Dark Consumption in Soul for even more management along with more aoe damage.

When you used to organize the Underground itrial your rule was not to run ahead of your tank when it was the bomb part. You had noticed my stalker running ahead to kill the bombs while everyone else lagged behind with the prior groups. I was doing so because I knew I could spare any mistakes of anyone unfamiliar of the itrial tripping ahead of your tank and activating one of those and not killing it in time, but I didn't engage that last hallway because I knew I'd need more hands. You followed behind, watched me kill the bombs with 5s to spare and decided to not kick me, in doing so you kept friendly with someone that could get everyone you knew easy badges on the TPN which are quite difficult to get. I think this topic all boils down to patience, you never know what kind of person you'll meet, it is just a video game after all.

I have a Mind/Dark. The heal is nice and the pbaoe is a little better, other than that everything else on Energy is better. The dps in it's three best attacks is stupendous and Soul Mastery fills in all of my missing aoe while also amping up my damage abilities with the Soul Drain buff.
-
Because of what domination gets you in Mind Control for instantaneous control. On controllers you need to add quirks to your aoe control like the +mag extra hold proc on the aoe hold and the coercive proc to mass confusion to halfway mimic what a dom can do from the start with it. Lots of things pair well with it. It depends on what you want to do. Doms tend to be best with a melee blapper playstyle. The special powerboosting abilities that some secondary's have lengthens your control too which is quite underrated. I've played almost all assaults, some are better than others, I'd look at the ones they revamped a while back to see which flavor may fit your fancy. My Mind/Energy is my best character I have, but there's lots of secondary's you can't go wrong with. The Soul Mastery Epic pool is fabulous so take those potential powers into consideration.
-
Well I tank that engagement on my dom without using the old sleep method so you're blaster if well built should be just fine. Next time tell those PUG'ers to get bent. Numina is the first one you spike on that fight, she rezzes, buffs AND does psi damage. If she goes down first almost any group can power through after, she lives and your team wipes she'll buff all those heroes into gods for you to fight once you return. If they don't know to spike Numina first then it's a waste of your mental state to entertain any thought about this.

I typically will play "squishy" characters more often than not that will already have capped defenses so when I go the buff pet route I see Carnies as the best option. The pocket healer gives forge which the +dmg/tohitt will always be useful and the Mistress hits real hard and it is psi damage which bypasses targets godmodes for strong consistent damage. I guess it's a little bit of concept since I don't really like those big hulking pets following me around. But on my more impervious characters I sometimes take the usual Pantheons or Longbow.
-
For me I'll give a top of each incarnate I take in order. Alpha: Almost always Agility, sometimes musculature Judgement: Mighty (looks cool), Ion is best, Void for -dmg Interface: Diamagnetic (all my characters have lots of defense built in so the -tohitt adds to it), reactive is good and I think there's one more I'm forgetting Lore: Carnies (for buff pet plus Mistress hits like a truck), offensive I go Banished or Longbow Destiny: Almost always Barrier, Rebirth, (these are all quite good powers in their own right) Hybrid: Always Assault
