Hellfire Paladin

I have been trying to get the spectrum option to my liking. I have always wanted a ghost character, so I came up with this (Sentinel - Rad/SR):

 

I was Ezra Kane, a seeker of the arcane, drawn to mysteries most would fear to explore. My path led me to a temple, where I discovered The Eidol, an artifact blending magic and technology. Its power was tantalizing yet ominous, and my curiosity proved my undoing. When I attempted to wield The Eidol, it bound itself to me, ripping my soul from my body and leaving me stranded in a ghostly form. No longer flesh and blood, my ectoplasmic essence allows me to channel devastating bursts of energy that sear like cosmic radiation. Yet my incorporeal state is fragile—I would dissolve into the void without The Eidol. It forges spectral chains that tether me to this plane, keeping me grounded while serving as an eternal reminder of my hubris. Now, bound by The Eidol's enigmatic will, I exist to safeguard the fragile balance between life and death, challenging those who tamper with forces beyond comprehension. Though cursed, I endure as Spectryl, guardian of two worlds.

I think we need more glowing costume options, and the first thing I'd like to see added would be all the chains pieces being given the Spectrum coloration treatment.  Consider what you have but as photo negative with his glowy flesh reduced to a dull flat tone with glowing chains wrapped around him.  Or maybe he glows and the chains glow in a different color.

 

Still, this is pretty cool.  Good job.

Robo-Zeus cracks me up, because I'm thinking of that damned owl from Clash of the Titans and what if Zeus was busy or tired or locked away somewhere but the gods needed someone to act as a figurehead in his place?  Hephaestus could totally whip up this guy, and I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't already have a stand-in for each of the other gods with dreams of somehow replacing all of the true gods but himself and then having his creations treat him with the respect he feels he deserves but never got because he's the ugly god that Mommy Hera threw off Mount Olympus because she couldn't bear the sight of him until he grew up and proved his worth with his creations.

 

Maybe I'm giving too much thought to this.

My only note:  shouldn't her red flame aura match her eyes and sword? Like why aren't they red or why isn't the aura orange-yellow?

Thank you, and I agree. More glowing pieces would be great! I envisioned the character with glowing red chains. The flat red chains did not work.

I do this quite often when I have characters with full-body auras, the higher intensity in the weapon and/or eye can be justified as power concentration since brighter usually means hotter.

 

Also, for me personally, I tend to mute full-body auras as I find them distracting and sometimes headache-inducing depending on the colours in use.

Looking at the screenshot again, at least to me, her eyes match the hottest part of the sword, which seems appropriate.  I tend to similarly match any eye aura to the hottest/brightest part of other glowing effects on the character, because it just seems they should be equally as intense...

She actually has auras from powers that blend in for a combined effect.

Love the look.  Good use of color, too. 

 

I'm curious:  The Celestial Armor 1 boots, in motion, do they radiate off the secondary color you've chosen?  I've never seen these boots without some type of glow, usually neon in color.

I've used those boots with darker colors for the normally glowing parts, and they do not leave a trail, (at least I didn't observe any FX from them with such darker colors chosen)...
