Not specific build tips or anything, but a couple of specific Claws things:

- I highly recommend putting a KB->KD IO in Shockwave. You want the enemies bunched up to continue the AoE carnage. I’d move the full set you have In it to another power. There are a few 5 set bonuses that are great to put in its place.

- Consider putting the Critical Strikes set in Follow Up. You’ll be using it in both single target and AoE attack chains literally whenever it’s up. I find it in Burn is consistent, but in team settings, you sometimes can’t even get burn off before things are dead.

:O 1000 thanks, didn't see that shockwave has a knockback!!! I'll try to make some adjustments then. Thanks for the infos!

Eviscerate is an optional power.  But Focus is the best thing about Claws. So don't skip that.

I don't think you'll get a lot of mileage out of Assault at level 18, but you could take Focus at 18 instead.

If you are going for general game play and have capped smashing/lethal and melee defense, I don't think I'd go for set bonuses that grant AoE and Fire Defense.  Perhaps look for more Smashing/lethal resistances.

The levels that i have taken the powers are total random. Assault can be the last power pick. I don't think that i use toggle buffs till 40+ cause of the early endurance issues with all ATs. I've never tried claws so thank you for the Eviscerate tip! I'll check if i can use something better in it's place.

Actually Eviscerste is a solid melee cone, but the animation drives most folks nuts.  Nuts enough to make it skippable.  See thread discussing the power elsewhere in the scrapper forums.

It's fallen to page 3 as of 1/23

This.

Being chased by a wasp is the most complete sport practice!

If  you havent made it in suggest fire claws tanker, so you can actually take advantage of burn fields.

If you do stay with scrapper that makes eviscerate pretty mandatory, it's crazy good damage, and the people who cry about the animation should probabaly just go back to their boring and ugly SS brutes or whatever.

Haven't made any claws toon yet. Still trying to find a nice AoE scrapper. Tankers are pretty expensive from what i've seen.

Your progenitor is boring and ugly.

/Fire in a Scrapper is a dubious proposition. The whole set hinges around Burn and on a Scrapper the mobs will just run away. As others mentioned why not try Tanker instead?
