Not unless you are scouting ahead but that’s not welcomed in many teams. But procc’ed up Caltrops and your FFG are always available for teaming. As is your entire primary and all of your pools. And for AV’s and such toe bombing, poison trap and acid mortar are all going to be very useful. Honestly, in the late game Brutes, Scrappers and Blasters pretty much make almost all buffing/debuffing secondaries obsolete relative to everyone having iPowers and a massive nuke. Beam is also ranged/cones and dark plays well with that (if you go with something with a PBAOE debuff aura it will be hard to apply and get good spread for your cones). I went for a pulp science fiction theme and the /dark is themed as interdimensional energy. The character's name is "Raygun Gothic". Thanks for this it looks good. My only question would be that the Acid Mortar Description doesn't mention Knockback so why do you have a Knockback -> Knockdown Enhancement in there? Very sturdy build, SLER softcapped DEF, really good damage mitigation, END for days, etc. I often get asked why I bother with Grant Invis and maybe if I was starting fresh I'd skip it but it was invaluable to grant invis to my stupid FFG that otherwise draws aggro and alerts the AV to my presence. Very sturdy, fantastic solo build. Does good on teams but with the assorted drawbacks of losing some of your better powers with steamrolling teams. Acid Mortar doesn't do Knockback, but the proc that is slotted is the Overwhelming Force Chance for Knockdown/Knockback to Knockdown. This gives Acid Mortar a chance to knock down enemies hit with it. Not sure how well that works, but that's the reasoning behind it. Here's my Beam/Traps/Mace build, capped to everything but Psi and Melee, so very sturdy. I have recently begun liking Caltrops, which I originally skipped on this guy, so I may end up respeccing into it. Probably dropping Combat Jumping, or maybe Triage Beacon, though I like the regen of that power.
