  • Softcapped to all typed defenses except psionic with Agility Radial Paragon (run speed boost provided by this as well).
  • Near hardcapped to all resists except psionic.
  • 36.13 mph in granite, decent end recovery.
  • Took ageless for fun-sies and fill in gaps when both hasten and rage drop.
  • End recovery vs end use is lacking a little
  • Reasonably priced build
  • Edit: moved taunt down to a single slot and added a slot to sprint to eek out another 6% (the last of the 6% run speed bonuses)
     

Rage crash stinks due to -20% defense for 10 seconds but despite that, I'm happy with the build.

 

Mids run speed numbers are off.  Synapse unique does not reflect the boost to run speed.  Also the 2 slotted swift has +5 boosted run speed IOs in it instead of straight up 50s.  Hasten recharge IOs are +5 as well, although less important.

I love the idea. I have a stone tanker myself but yours greatly out runs mine. If you don't mind I made some adjustments that should provide better performance all around. It is MUCH MORE expensive though, but even if you don't go as expensive you still might get some ideas. So expect to see Supreme ATOs, PVPs, Uniques, Enhancement Boosts, LotGs, and 5 slot Armageddon.

 

  • Added an extra 6% run speed, moving you to 37 mph in granite, 39.8 mph if you have the Base Empowerment +Run Speed temporary buff (90 minutes, costs a common salvage)
  • Changed all the 6% run speed buffs to your Prestige Sprints, freeing up a lot of slots for improving other aspects of the build.
  • Unslotted Jab and removed the FF procs from Kick and Punch. I see these as attacks you wouldn't need to use, and having 6 more slots to work with was helpful. 
  • I changed the Alpha from Agility to Musculature to leverage your FF procs. Less recharge in a power, more likely to proc.
  • I added much more Recharge. What was once 32.5% global recharge, now becomes 83.75%, more than making up for the lost Agility.
  • Gained defense to all your types, now at 48.8% instead of 45.5% (again, without Agility). Positions and Psi defense also improved from 11.9% to 17.4%.
  • Lost some global accuracy (34% down to 24%), but with perma Rage you still hit at 95% against +4s with all of your main attacks (Haymaker, KoB, Hurl, Foot Stomp, Cross Punch...all have FF proc btw)
  • Gained some Psi Resistance, was 4.5%, now it's 20%
  • Improved Recovery from 3.21/s to 3.78/s, while increasing max endurance from 114.1% to 117.2% (assuming accolades)
  • Reduced Endurance consumption from 0.71/s to 0.62/s. Also, Rooted uses less consumption now if you wish to run it.
  • Regeneration outside of Rooted went down slightly from 224% to 210%. But when Rooted, the regeneration increases from 345% to 415%.
  • Max HP increased from 181.1% to 186.8% (could easily cap it at 188.6% but I chose to keep +6% psi resistance instead of the little bit of extra HP).
  • Earth's Embrace recharges much faster, as does Hasten.
  • Hurl has comically strong KB now, 16 mag.
  • Tough is not turned on for this analysis, as you are capped at S/L whether it's on or not.

In the end, you are faster, tougher, and more punishing. Anything not boosted is attuned.

Wow, that's a great look, Bopper.  I never saw that Unbounded leap gave the 6% runspeed.  Originally just went all out for run speed and then defense fell into place.

 

I'm not sure if I'll use ATOs and purples for this toon, but I might get there.

 

I like this look a lot.  Appreciate your time and efforts.  That's what I love about this game, there are hundreds of ways toons can be built.

This decision is entirely based on how much you love playing the character and if you don't suffer too much with Alt-Itis. I have 3 level 50s decked out and they are the only ones I play, plus I have a farmer on a 2nd account. So it doesn't take much time for me to deck out my characters as I don't have other alts dividing my resources. That being said, I took a 2nd stab at your build and made what I think are improvements. But with any improvement, there is usually a cost. In this case, I lost some of the psi resistance that was in the build before (20% reduced to 11%), but I was able to cap your Max HP to 188.6% (3534 HP). I removed Tough (it wasn't needed) and added Boxing, that way Cross Punch now has its Synergy Bonuses increased to +10% To Hit and +10% Recharge as well as increases its base damage by 15%. I also added back in your Chance for Build Up proc. I also reordered some powers just in case you exemplar. So the Stone Armors that are not Granite go to the back of the line.

Huh, I never knew about "Fighting Synergy".  Thanks.  I farm too much, I have 52 50s, most built, I have maybe 10 that are decked out with ATOs and purples and what-not.  Others I have built out a bit more cheaply, supported by incarnates to fill gaps but still decent builds.  Or ranged defense toons, etc.

 

I don't usually run lower level stuff but I should.  I have too many toons and I haven't gone back on any to get accolades... another thing I should do.

 

I'll have to read up on this "Fighting Synergy".

Boxing, Kicking, and Brawl also get buffs for Synergy. I'll put details in a spoiler window to not overwhelm this post.

Boxing and Kicking also get buffed 15% each for having Kick/Box and CP. So having all three gives all three powers +30%.

 

Kick (for having Boxing) also gets a boost to its probability to Knockdown (15% changes to 40%, iirc). Kick (for having Cross Punch) gets an endurance/recovery debuff with their attack (-3 end, -5% recovery for 4 seconds).

 

Boxing (for having Kicking) also gets a boost to its probability to Stun (10% for mag 2 goes up to 35% for mag 3). Boxing (for having Cross Punch) gets an endurance/recovery debuff with their attack (-2 end, -5% recovery for 4 seconds).

 

Brawl also gets some things. If you have Boxing or Kick it will gain a small recharge debuff and to hit debuff (I assume 5%). If you have both, double it. If you have Cross Punch, you will get a -regen debuff and -recovery debuff (10% for 10 seconds)? I am only assuming this based on Mid's though, I have not tested Brawl as I'd never use it. More nice to have if you're running super low exemplared missions and you need to use it.

That's awesome.  I only took cross punch because it looked great slapping enemies across their faces with a big granite hand.  And the sound is cool too.  Appreciate it.

Just a question, i like this spec but i would to take teleport foe too. I remember, when i played this game eons ago, that teleport foe was quite usefull in pvp. So what of these power i could change in this spec to take teleport foe? Thank you and sorry for my bad english.

You can get rid of boxing or brimstone armor.  Losing boxing will lose some bonus to cross punch and losing brimstone armor will lose a bit of psionic res.  If I had to pick, I'd drop the brimstone armor and pickup TP foe if that's a power you want.

For reference, how fast is a normal characters run speed?

 

ps; really like the build bopper and will run it. Hopefully I have more fun than on my kinetic/wp- which was invincible but felt so lackluster and pitiful

As someone who played two 50 Stone Armor tanks, seeing this brings back a lot of nostalgia.

Sorry for the noob question: atfer you slot all the run speed enhancements in all the movement powers of the build, in order to move faster in granite armor, you need to activate something or there is a passive bonus to movement that start to work when you activate granite armor?

Those +6% movement speed bonuses are passive (always on), whether you're in granite or not.

 

The only run speed power that remains on while in Granite is Swift. The sprints will never be turned on when you're in Granite.

I would recommend two slotting Swift with +5 Run IOs. It'll give you more speed than one of the 3% speed bonuses
