Cheers for the tips!

Just keep in mind that there can only be one instance each of Achilles Heel, Fury of the Gladiator, or Annihilation on a target, no matter how many teammates have it slotted.

did not know about this! Very interesting.

Do you know how the -res incarnate power (can’t remember the name) interacts with poison and the Achilles proc?

Strong point about the kin. We often duo with our kin corr and kin def, great time on ITFs. We teamed with a poison who made us wonder about the poisons.

I chose reactive interface for my poison/fire for this specific reason.

I do a lot of proc damage and rely heavily on the interaction of -damage debuffing being amplified by -resistance debuffing.

At the end of the day, Degen may still be better for taking down big targets, but I like reactive as it fits the build well.

Kin is a great addition to poison, just depends what content you like to tackle whether a second poison would be preferable. Multiple poisons become insane for both speed and safety because their debuff aura doesn't take animation time and poison trap proc bomb gets out so fast.

I've never been very good at these 'asking for build help' posts, so I'm just gonna lay it out as best I can:
Water/Poison corruptor, intending to go /Dark for epic pool. Experimentation and Leadership secondary pools.

I started looking at IOing him out, shoved Thunderstrike and Artillery where they'd fit, plus Malice of the Corruptor, stuck the +def IOs in Antidote and ended up with 33% Ranged defense.

However, that defense won't help him in melee, which is where a Poison character needs to live.

And I don't know how much I trust dehydrate, venomous gas and oppressive gloom to keep me alive in the scrum. I'm not sure if I should drop Dark Consumption (long recharge but I have been having end issues) for Dark Embrace (32% smethal resist, which doesn't seem *great* but maybe I'm underestimating it.)

So yeah, idiot check me: Does this even make sense?

Dehydrate is reliable as long as you use it in your normal attack chain. I'd put the Theft of Essence endurance proc in it somewhere, though. It does help. Likewise, Performance Shifter's +endurance proc in Stamina works out better than an endurance enhancement under most circumstances.

Water Jet has a unique interaction that it resets, rather than recharges, if you use it with tidal power full... meaning if you skip putting recharge in it and put damage procs in it, they've got a better chance of going off. Damage procs do a flat amount of damage, so lower damage archetypes like corruptors get a lot of mileage from them.

Also - maneuvers or combat jumping would probably go some ways to helping you survive.

Dark Consumption is on my "take it, just take it, don't ask questions" list... it's basically a second endurance bar when you really need it.

Sorry for zombie'ing this thread, but I didn't want to just create a new one since there is so much good discussion here. I took a stab at an Earth/Poison controller and would greatly appreciate feedback. My goal was not a "tanktroller"; I have a few of those already and after awhile they all feel very similar with just a change to pixels and not playstyles. That being said, I did not take the Fighting pool. I am normally in a duo with someone who plays Brutes almost exclusively so I don't feel I need to be completely invincible. I was also looking at a more PUG team orientated controller. I would say this version of the build is a "final" build as opposed to a leveling build in terms of slotting and when I placed the powers. The leveling build I would be creating as I actually play the toon and see what I need and when as I go. If I wasn't required to take Alkaloid as a controller, I would have slotted it differently, but as I have to take it I went all in with Preventive Medicine. I felt with the Melee Core Hybrid I had decent enough resistances and so I took Clarion over Barrier as my Destiny slot.  What I am ultimately hoping for is a controller that can provide battlefield supremacy through debuffs so that the team/primary damage dealers can have fun crushing packs with ease.

Thank you all for your time and to @Frosticus @Chet Manly and @KelvinKole for the knowledge and inspiration.

Forgive my ramblings: STANK is my favorite toon right now and thrives in team play. Which is how I destress from work and play with our friends we’ve made on Reunion this year.  From what I can tell, he debuffs regen, defense,  resistance, and max hp.

He stacks on the tank and spreads his odoriferous illumination. Enemies lay at our feet……or I pull threat and faceplant in my zeal. Either way between melee core and Rune I can survive decently.
I didn’t play or even know about CoH’s return until this year so nerfs to Rune predate my experience. I used your build and tailored it to my playstyle and I simply love it.
I’ve been told frost/ice corrupters are wearing the crown of debuff queen/king,  but I/we have more perfect runs with Stank and crew than my Frost/ice corrupter. I have a rad/rad defender that I recreated from live but he’s collecting dust currently.

Thanks @Frosticus
