Oubliette_Red Posted April 19, 2020 Share Posted April 19, 2020 Unintended Consequences You know you've had those moments, you did something that resulted in something awesome, perplexing, or downright hilarious that also had an unintended 'oops'. For me it was during Legacy, friends and I were running an STF, taking on Recluse's 4 minions. Black Scorpion and Mako were already down and we were dealing with Scirocco and Ghost Widow. I was on my Illusion/Emp Controller and Confuse is one of her often-used powers, it's just a habit for me to use it whenever it came up. All of a sudden I hear the Tank go "Where the hell is he going!?!" as Scirocco ignores the tank's taunt, step away, and clocks Ghost Widow. Me: "Oops..." It was funny as hell, but almost caused a team wipe because the tank lost aggro. So spill the beans and regale us of your tales of "oopses". Dislike certain sounds? Silence/Modify specific sounds. Coyotedancer Posted April 20, 2020 Share Posted April 20, 2020 I once-upon-a-time forgot that Scir could fly... Was on an STF with some of the Ouphs. Had a bad pull and ended up with all four of the patrons at once. I was on my main, my rogue stalker Grey Kestrel, and when we decided to split up the quartet, I had her get Scir's attention and lead him off. Our scraps took Mako and Scorpion, so the tank and the squishier folk could deal with GW. Kes held her own pretty well, but it took the rest of the gang a little longer to deal with the others than I expected, and eventually he did get lucky with that sword enough to wear her down... So I figured "No worries. I'll kite him." Forgetting completely, like I said, that THE GUY CAN FLY. XD Kes takes off... and... yep... instead of gettting some recovery time, he just followed right along after her. There was some cursing involved. And a facepalm. XD Taker of screenshots.
