queequeg77
I hate to revive an old thread, but I have come here to warn people, DO NOT take and use this build. That is because it is too powerful, and it makes a very casual (mediocre) player like me look like a badass, so I'd appreciate it if nobody else caught on. Over the weekend, I ran 4 different TF/SFs, all exemped down to where Ball Lightning wasn't even available and I: 1) Stealthed ahead and soloed the last room multiple times, before the rest of the team could even get through half of the map 2) Was the only survivor on a team wipe (and continued to chew through enemies with my teammates' bodies at my feet) 3) Pretty much soloed the entire last mission on Silver Mantis. This is with only a couple of the purple IOs and no Winters. I shudder to think how strong it will be once I get those. Thanks, Bopper, for introducing me to my new main! 1

I am glad you're enjoying the build. I haven't had a chance to play much lately but I hopped on today to get a feel for how the endurance consumption felt with CJ on along with Ninja Run and/or Super Jump. Just worked through a +4/x8 fire farm map with not too much danger. Energize is always up right at the time I need it. For funsies, I might try a 2nd build with Fold Space and possibly reincorporate Cross Punch, but overall I am pretty happy with Ball Lightning, Power Crash, and AS as my main attacks in AoE saturated areas. So maybe no need to entertain cross punch again, but still I'd like some fold space in my life haha. Suck those runners back into my grasp. 1 PPM Information Guide Survivability Tool Interface DoT Procs Guide Time Manipulation Guide Bopper Builds +HP/+Regen Proc Cheat Sheet Super Pack Drop Percentages Recharge Guide Base Empowerment: Temp Powers Bopper's Tools & Formulas Mids' Reborn

Jack Powers 3
Hey @Bopper I'm running your build and I absolutely love it. I really want to somehow use Teleport Target though, as I love having the ability to stealth up to the objective and sneak my group in. How would you recommend I achieve this without completely breaking your build? Thank you!

Maybe leverage Combat Teleport's to-hit buff to keep my Snipe damage high. 1 PPM Information Guide Survivability Tool Interface DoT Procs Guide Time Manipulation Guide Bopper Builds +HP/+Regen Proc Cheat Sheet Super Pack Drop Percentages Recharge Guide Base Empowerment: Temp Powers Bopper's Tools & Formulas Mids' Reborn

Just to be sure I understand correctly I attached a screenshot of how I modified the build based on your recommendation. Sorry for the double check, I'm just a new player so some of this is still pretty confusing to me.

Not to overload you with even more stuff to think about, but power placement is important if you intend to use this character doing Weekly Strike Targets since you'll be leveled down and not have everything available. As they are now, you won't be able to use your TP powers below level 36, which cuts out low and mid tier TFs. Energy/Energy is a tight build, but here's an alternate arrangement that gives you one of your TP powers (since it sounds like a character theme) for most of your gameplay. The downside is that boxing goes away at low levels, but slapping a damage IO in brawl isn't that much worse, and brawl costs zero endurance to use. Feel free to spam it or even put it on auto.

Not overwhleming! Thank you so much for the advice @Random Axis. This was literally a question I brought up in the Homecoming discord last night (how to re-arrange my powers to get TP earlier). I have made the adjustments you recommended and plan to respec asap. Edited June 1 by Jack Powers
Random Axis
One more thing I thought of. I forgot this was a stalker which means you want to be careful about using auto Brawl. If it's active it will always be your opening attack, and I don't think I've ever wanted that to be how I come out of stealth. To save you a lot of clicking, here's the macro I use to "toggle" brawl on and off. /macro_image "Inherent_Brawl" "Boop" "powexec_auto Brawl" That creates a button that looks exactly like brawl, is named Boop, and turns auto Brawl on and off. Feel free to change the name Boop if that feels too silly for you.
