Oh Shoot

Just picked up the toon name "Oh Shoot".  Thinking of AR/nrg blast, powerboost, snipe, hover, maybe LRM.  He gets detected, he runs and hides, maybe phases or misdirects.  Every time he's detected or takes a defeat, he throws out his battlecry: "Motherf@#$!", I mean "Oh shoot!"

 

Probably ineffective but it brought me here to ask the question.  If you had the name "Oh Shoot", what kind of toon would you play?

I would play DP/ninja and shoot dart injections to everything in my sight

I would do Assault Rifle.

 

Functionally, I don't doubt Dual Pistols will perform better in most situations.

But I like having a snipe, and Dual Pistols ain't got one.  

Also the over-the-toppy-ness of the Dual Pistols animations.... aren't my favorite thing.  

 

For a secondary, is tougher.  I have trouble pairing most with it thematically.  I would probably do Devices, or Ninja, or Martial, or Mental.

Sounds like AR/Devices, to me.  Targeting Drone = permanent ToHit well over +97% for moar snipe damage.  Field Operative = stealth + never-ending blue bar.

Something with Archery.  As my blaster main (Archery/Devices) puts it....

And where it falls, I do not care....."

I went AR/TacArrow on my shooty blaster; liked that TA offers a build up since AR doesn't have one. Haven't really played it though, so idk what it's like fully yet.

I did that build a while ago then did the new version of it.  I named him Mini Rambo.

 

Oh Shoot will have to be another AR, DP or BR.  I don't want to rename Mini Rambo.

 

I have a BR/TA named Major Disapointment and a DP/Nin called Hamburger Jones.  I could rename Hamburger Jones I guess.

 

Archery may be it though.  I haven't done an archery toon yet.

Bah!  I'm "disapointed" that I spelled Major Disapointment wrong.  Shoot!  So now Major Disapointment has become Oh Shoot.

This one is S/L/E/N and ranged but you can adapt and just make it ranged.  It'll be cheaper.

OSA is definitely worth taking.  You don't see it?  If you don't see it then you have an old version of mids.  You can slot any power whatever way you want.  Mine is slotted as per the build I shared.
