Emotes during combat

Most folks use emotes in this game only while waiting around, for a TF to start or something, but lately I've been having a lot of fun mixing emotes into my attack chain during combat.

 

Yes, I realize this makes me much less effective at actually doing damage etc, but it can be a lot of fun. 

 

Changing costume mid-battle can be a lot of fun too.

 

Hitting a nuke and killing everything, quickly followed with the train whistle emote is funny.

 

I have a sleep based mind controller who likes to sleep everything, and then do the sleep emote herself.

 

Do any of you do this? And if so what are your favourite emotes to put into combat situations?

 

Also, I've noticed that hover makes some of the emotes even more fun midbattle (as well as some actual powers).

Can't say I have.  One of my favorite characters is a Ice/Shield stalker and emoting at all with a shield in hand is a pain.  You have to do something like "/em idle1" first or most emotes won't even play.  And then some get mixed up with others it seems.  Unless I want to turn off all shield defense powers which... bad idea in the middle of combat. 🤪

 

Ah well.  Sounds fun tho.

I yave a dew flavored stalker called Diet Dew who emotes whenever. Rotating binds for the win but since mosy people are too busy following the tank and button mashing i seriously doubt they notice. Eh at least they figured out something besides door sitting.

I have a werefox and a xenoform Alien that both /crouch after every action.
I mapped it to the numpad zero button and it is second nature now to hit it with my pinky after every attack.

I dance or have my pets do stuff while waiting, or after an AV fight.

Yep. I have a few binds with emotes that I've activated during fights but few notice. Then again, the emote doesn't last long or I'm quickly powering another attack.

Before Teleport had it's animation shortened, it synced perfectly with the Ultimate Power emote causing you to teleport the moment you were struck with a bolt of lightning.  I had a macro set to Teleport to my target while also playing that emote and it was damn cool.  Doesn't quite work anymore.
