Sutekh the Destroyer Posted November 22, 2024 Posted November 22, 2024 (edited) Tons of cool ideas in this thread! Enthusiastic support for; Longer hair for men. Long straight hair, like Ian Nottingham from the old Witchblade comics (or 'Rain' from Big Trouble in Little China), would be my top choice! A few more POC hair options. 'Locs, jeri curls, tight braids (both coiled atop the head and hanging down to various lengths), etc. A *few* more hair options for hat wearers (I'd love a long hair + hat option). Finger guns! Oh yes, I would kill for a Dual Pistols Blaster/Sentinel/Corrupter who kills people with 'mind bullets' and has no visible guns. A version of Beam Rifle that uses a magical staff or crystal or even weapon like a (decorative) magical sword, mace or dagger, could be similarly fun, to use that set on a Magical themed character. On that note, some power customization for various attack sets that allows Fire Blast or Ice Blast to come from a chonky physical gun (like Captain Cold or Heat Wave), or from a magical wand (or dual wands), staff, amulet, skull (for Dark Blast) or crystal (for Sonic Blast or Lightning). Allow your Fire, Ice, Dark, etc., Blaster to be a Mage, Natural or Tech hero/villain, and not default all of them to Mutants and Science accidents. Someone who does martial arts motions to shoot their Fire or Ice Blasts would be a little too Avatar / Mortal Combat / Hadouken, but I'd still go for it! (Obviously this goes well beyond costume elements, even if the power customization options show up in the costume creator!) More robe or long dress options for both genders, I wanted someone with a Jedi-like robe (although not at all a Jedi!), but the only robes seemed to be martial arts (which was really more of a long-tailed shirt) and Circle of Thorns (which was a bit too... thorny, for my tastes). Some sort of pattern overlay for the Spectrum skin. Tats like Tribal was suggested, but I really want to see the Malaise pattern over Spectrum! Just psychedelic, man! More power customization; I'd love for MM pets to be a little more variable. At least one other option for each set. Two types of robots, two types of demons, etc. to pick from, but in particular, I'd love to see the Beastmastery set have some regional options. North American Beastmastery could have 3 wolves, 2 mountain lions and a bear. African Beastmastery could have a leopard, a cheetah and a black 'panther' (or three hyena, jackals or cape hunting dogs?), 2 lionesses and a male lion. Etc. Or maybe the options could be per summon, so that a Beastmaster could pick 'all cats' or 'all dogs' or an eclectic mix. (One based on the Chinese zodiac might include 3 monkeys (use a larger Rikti monkey model, to represent more dangerous monkeys, chimp or baboon-sized, not capuchin sized!), 2 dogs and a tiger?) The bear or male lion would be the only significant new models here, the rest can be poached from Rikti monkeys or Umbral hounds or whatever. And yes, mentioned above, guitars for sonic characters to shoot their blasts from! (Or violins, lutes, harps, saxophones, COWBELL!!!) Sonic Blast and Symphony Control characters need this! Edited November 23, 2024 by Sutekh the Destroyer spelling is hard! 2
ATS Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 Forget if this has been mentioned yet, but sheathes. Back and side sheathes.

Like a book, and umbrella, or other thing we might often have in our hand. Magic wands or staves should be there too, and they should match up with the animation when it comes from an item.
Heliphyn34u Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 I love the additions to the head tank (rubber ducky ftw!), and would like to request the following: goldfish piranha jellyfish tiny deepsea diver 1
drgantz Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 The duck in a bowl is ok, but I want a duck bill. It would be great for my toon to be a duck. 2

A smol creature from the game sitting on a tiny seat with a couple of control levers that look like old-fashioned floor-clutch shifters would be great. It doesn't have to be all possible creatures in game, just a short selection to start with. Rikti monkey, for example. a "tiny animal" that looks a bit like a cartoon stuffed animal or fox or something would be good too. Could probably be done with the regular costume creator. Oh hey, while I've got my thinking hat on, how about a "tank" helmet that's a more realistic space suit? Of course you'd still have to put a regular person's head in it too. Firegoat Posted December 15, 2024 Posted December 15, 2024 My stone-themed tankers/brutes/sentinels would look really cool wearing an Igneous costume via the prismatic hologram vendor. 2

Tragically, headless characters have no hat options.
ATS Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 We could do with more mech options. I think some of wings we already have might work with non flapping options.
mcalexev Posted January 1 Posted January 1 (edited) Honestly I'd love more PPD outfit pieces. The current cop hat we have doesn't have the badge like the NPCs have. Also the chest radios they have on their uniforms. A Rogue Isles Police option for the cop shirt too'd be great. Edited January 1 by mcalexev
kelika2 Posted January 2 Posted January 2 More bone armor Need something for the legs, back, more for the biceps, maybe some cape related items More leather armor Patchworky stuff is fine, maybe expanding on barbarian with a lot more muscle tone

A couple of my characters I specifically got the inspiration for them from the magmites, particualrly. Would love to stomp around as one. I might actually save the Prismatics specifically so that I could unlock it, instead of just selling them off like I do now!
Chris24601 Posted January 7 Posted January 7 I’d like the START vendor jump pack and the Cybernetic Aura ACCUHud to be made available as back and head details respectively. The first is because of a lack of good small (between the shoulders) jet packs (I might feel differently if the Vanguard “jetpack” had ANY sort of flames to go with it), and the Jump Pack already has its flame animations designed. I’d be happy even with the base (non-colorable) version. The second is because it’s clearly just a costume part with a combat animation (like the new clockwork hand) that shouldn’t have to lock you of actual auras (I have a tendency to throw Celestial onto one of my costume slots once I hit Incarnate, but most of my tech PCs use the ACCUHud as basically a flip down combat faceplate for their helmets and you can’t have both. Having an option for static (always in place) and dynamic (how the aura version works) would be cool too. Another request would be for the Praetorian PPD energy auras as an aura option for players, along with the Seer visor and some of the other costume pieces available to the generic Praetorian mobs (the bigger PPD arm shields, the heavier IDF chest armor and gloves like Grant Creston also has). And finally, a repeat of my request for the chain/wire wrapped hands to use any of the hand textures (instead of just leather or wrapped) so you could have the glove actually match the rest of your outfit. 1

We should have multiple aura options, one for head, one for body, one for arms, one for legs, and the travel auras. Maybe also eyes individually from head because I really really want a halo and glowing eyes, but taking a halo pretty much excludes any other auras outside of powers and stuff you can buy with prismatic aethers.

gameboy1234 Posted January 8 Posted January 8 I've wanted a "Leg Detail" option for a while now. Extra bits to add on like the "chest detail" option. Holsters, straps, straps with pouches, knee pads, strapped on armor, etc. Just small things that can be added each update to add a bit of pizazz to characters.
catgirl64 Posted January 9 Posted January 9 I hope this hasn't been brought up before, if it has just add me to the list of people who would like it. 🙂 I would like to see just more "basic" costume pieces and patterns added, stuff that feels like it should be there that aren't, like necklines that aren't plunging Vs or turtlenecks (i.e. like a crew cut t-shirt), or just a basic horizontal top stripe for boots, or a pattern that allows you to color just the shoe part of tights that doesn't require you to have to use tight pants to fake it, or to be able to color it to make it look like a short boot. I know making whole new costume pieces is hard (like actually having short boots), but just some more "normal" patterns would be very useful. Same with just having some basic patterns for the tops, like having a pattern so we can color the neck/collar area without that also meaning we have hole patterns all across our arms and back too. Too many of the patterns from the original game are overly designed, so if you want a chest stripe you end up also having stripes across your arms or something like that, or if you want a top horizontal stripe on your boot (that's not using the rubber boot which doesn't look like tights or might not match the style you want and also can't be given different heels) you end up having to use the sharp spike that goes down the boot. In a similar vein, having an option for tight pants/pants that removes the pockets/zippers/lining entirely so they have a similar texture to tights would be useful too (so you can make bottoms with wide cuffs that don't look like cargo pants or jeans or motorcycle leathers, e.g. loose yoga pants or women's disco pants). Having some more variation on the skin tops would be nice too. I know this is because of the limitation of the original character creator where tops with skins don't allow patterns on them because they couldn't guarantee where the clothes would be on the body, but I think adding a few variations to things like the t-shirt or tanker tops where you have patterns on them (like a circle in the center or a stripe down the middle, etc) would be really cool and used a lot by people. Players have gotten really good at getting around the limitations set by the original character creator, but I think it would help a lot to get some just "basic" things added like the above and similar (just simple lines on the edges of tops/pants, single stripes or blocks of color that don't extend all across the sleeves, etc). 3 2
ATS Posted Sunday at 09:56 AM Posted Sunday at 09:56 AM I'd love to see the chinese pheasant tail headress become a hat of sorts, though it would need to be reasonable long. It's often seen in chinese theatre, and in the Sun Wukong myth, but most notable on virtually every depiction of famous chinese warrior Lu Bu across all media. 5

You could draw a lot of ideas from these. 11 hours ago, Rudra said: If all you do is throw random pictures on the request thread, then there is no way to know what exactly you are asking for.
