What causes gigantism and constant growing of random world objects?

AFK'd for like 10 minutes

Noticed the knocked off gate near the trainer/yin was huge

Then I noticed it was getting bigger

I seen this before with a random book in Steel's college but never let it get this big before

 

Performance is not effected

Moving a distance away from the original point of the gate caused it to fall through the world and reset

I've seen it happen with Eochai's pumpkins during Halloween events. At one point a pumpkin grew to contain all of Atlas Park and then disappeared.

I've seen this one before!  I had a random book in the university grow to epic proportions as well.  Couldn't tell you what caused it though.

Obvious foreshadowing concerning the preliminary addition of the rumored "Growth" Powerset sometimes mentioned on ancient COH forums.
