Vanden Posted March 7 Posted March 7 The characteristic yellow glow of Super Strength is the result of light particles of a certain wavelength escaping the event horizon of the muscular singularity formed in muscle fibers and has been observed in real life in instances of real super strength, so it would not be accurate to depict Super Strength without any glow or particle effects. 1 2 1 1 A Cheat Sheet for efficient Endurance Recovery slotting Invention Set Designer Tool Spreadsheet with every Ancillary Power Pool
Haijinx Posted March 7 Posted March 7 It will come when Scrappers get SS However, in the meantime, note that all the other nonweapon sets work the same way. You can tint but not min fx.
Saiyajinzoningen Posted March 7 Posted March 7 personally i love SS fx usually i switch it to dark then pair it with a light aura and get some nifty fx more options aren't bad however there are far more visually noisy power sets out there (does not look at rad armor) speaking personally when I was young all the cool lights and effects were neato and now that I'm old everything is too bright everything is too noisy and I just wanna go home lol Its easy to criticize a suggestion but can you suggest an alternative?

Captain Fabulous Posted March 7 Posted March 7 Try tinting everything black/black (or darkest grey if black isn't available). It's the best way I know to minimize power VFX when there is no option to turn them off. Unfortunately there are many melee sets that you can't tint at all, off the top of my head I don't know if SS is one of them.
Random Robot Posted March 7 Posted March 7 Minimal FX Everything! "Minimal FX Everything!" I love this game. I'm eternally grateful that it was brought back. "It's not enough that I win, somebody else has to lose" is not the attitude of a Hero.
