How do you get Supas to spawn at the Troll Rave Event?

I read in another thread in this very forum that you should not attack the trolls so they go in the door and come back out as Supas. Well I did this, but they just stood there dancing. What do I need to do to get Supas to spawn?

They spawn automatically.  The real trick is not to screw that up.

If people attack/kill the ravers less (or no) Supas spawn.  Because the ravers go into the bldg and emerge as Supas.

It's a scripted event, there's nothing you can do to hurry it along.  Just wait.

Get busy living... or get busy dying.  That's goddamn right.

I have some notes.

If the rave is at the southernmost point, there will be spawns of Trolls destined for the Rave that cannot make the jump to get to the rave from where they spawn. This limits the Supa spawns.

When Supas spawn, they travel to (effectively) three different spawn points. Two are near the north train station, the third is near the gate to the Hollows. The Supas will wait there to be defeated.

I believe that the event ends when 50 Supas have been defeated (in the zone). I think the event will finally decide to time itself out.

Love starting a Synapse and realizing there are like 30 Supas parked there by the station.  I totally know they are like, "sup girl, wanna join a rave" and I am like . . . . maybe, let me ask my boyfriend if I can smash you all first.

My internal monologue needs therapy sometimes.

And if you're looking for the Supa Troll badge, if you're the only one fighting them, it's maybe 2 goes.

I usually head over when it’s announced. I do nothing but fight Supa Trolls until I get all 50. Then I blaze my way through all the rest. I can get both badges in one event easily.

It only takes more than one if I’m lowish level (less than 30) or if I happen to stumble across an existing rave while doing other stuff and don’t have the full time.

What I do is wait for the rave to start and then go to the train station. They flood toward the train station, fight them as they head that way, and the follow them back toward the rave.

But honestly, I haven't gone out of my way to fight the Super Trolls since I started playing on Homecoming. Far too easily to outlevel the Rave.

If someone posts a reply quoting me and I don't reply, they may be on ignore.

(It seems I'm involved with so much at this point that I may not be able to easily retrieve access to all the notifications)

Some players know that I have them on ignore and are likely to make posts knowing that is the case.

But the fact that I have them on ignore won't stop some of them from bullying and harassing people, because some of them love to do it. There is a group that have banded together to target forum posters they don't like. They think that this behavior is acceptable.

Ignore (in the forums) and /ignore (in-game) are tools to improve your gaming experience. Don't feel bad about using them.

Since I have been avoiding DFB, I usually pop over to Skyway to fight Supa Trolls, at (or just below) level. Decent XP and good low level drops.

Are you on one of the lower population servers?  Because that has definitely not been my experience on Excelsior.  I'm constantly hampered by one or more chuckleheads who come in guns blazing, unwilling to team, and just continually wipe out trolls regardless of their potential for Supa Trolls.  I've even deliberately logged in during the late, late hours when the North American population is largely asleep, thinking that will give me freedom, but nope, goofballs still show to play wild west gunslingers.

That's interesting.  I never realized there was a different effect between locations.  Though not exactly a bug, this sounds like a problem needing reporting.  By any chance have you done so, or are aware of such from others?

I've casually mentioned it, but this sort of issue is IMO similar to the pathing issue for the Arachnos Flier which occasionally gets "stuck" in invulnerable mode when flying between landing points. I can imagine a variety of potential solutions, but I've never seen the event fail to end (via zone announcements) when the rave is at the southernmost point, so I see this as a minor issue at best.

There is definitely something wrong with this event. I was not seeing anymore rave trolls coming to the area they are supposed to but the event wasn't turning off either. I found the rave trolls directly south of the southern most rave point trying to continuously jump up but they were stuck there.

Ok I just did the event again, it seems to have worked this time at the southern most point. Plenty of supas this time and got the badge.

But I can still see them jumping like crazy trying to get to the event. They are located directly west of Land of the lost Neighborhood map marker and North of Troll Rave map marker. Coordinates are 910.7 , -126.0 , -1252.0
