Id love to do more star TF's, but no one runs them, and I don't know enough about them to confidently lead them. Maybe instead of bonus merits, it gives twice the amount of prismatic salvage? Or just bonust merits is fine. Honestly, the Few multistar TF\sf I have run have been neat with the much harder challenges added, but no one runs them.

It's not that no one runs advanced modes, it's that the people who form advanced modes do so in private Discord servers (there are at least four that I am aware of), and not in the LFG channel.  Not sure what, if anything, can be done about that.

I don't tend to join them because of (typically) the extra time and messing about they require. The ones I've joined have also just had people rushing as much as possible, which... just isn't enjoyable to me at all.

Are you suggesting having a WST that *has* to be multistar?

Yeah.  The vast majority of groups that run advanced modes are speed runners, and by and large they are not going to form PUG groups as PUGs will more than likely just slow them down.  The small amount of people who run advanced modes in steamroll/kill most fashion will also not, by and large, form PUG groups as they take a significant amount of time and they don't want people who will quit two or three missions in.

I just don't think that they're content that are suitably PUG-able, and will remain under the purview of specific groups.

Aeon, LGTF and ITF are part of the WST rotation. If you choose to run them in starred mode when they're the WST, you still get the double merits and Notice of the Well. Not sure why the starred version needs to be listed separately.

because players choose the path of least resistance.

I don’t think this would change anything as others have explained, those who run them privately will still do so and just pocket the extra reward. But I’m also not against the suggestion.

There's really nothing to change. The Advanced mode TFs carry the same place in the weekly rotation that the standard versions do. So, you would get 2x the merits for 1* lady grey, just like you would for the standard version. It sounds more to me like you need to get connected with the folks that do advanced mode tfs.
