New Spring Event badges

New badge total in game: 1634

 

Best Man/Maid of Honor: Complete the event as hero or vigilante

 

Wedding Crasher: complete the event as rogue/villain

 

getting both of those enables you to activate the Nemesis option of the event. You want a full team be buffed up and get ready to hospital as it is a battle royal against everyone

 

Officiator: defeat all 14 signature heroes/villains in the event, this is best achieved in the Nemesis part of the event

 

Chaos Spiel: activate the nemesis event

 

Down in Front: stand between Sis and Manti and tell Posi to start the event then wait a few moments......

Other badges that exist, but are easy to get:

Villain Disruptor

Bloody Hands/Hero Slayer

 

If you have some sort of AOE, you can tag a number of them for credit.  If running for Officator, good chance to get them without too much effort.

You only have to tag the Signature characters, but you have to be within 100' when they get defeated.   (There's a couple other conditions here and there, so defeat is the safest, but I managed the badge with a level 12 char and quick careful use of a Nemesis staff)

Do you have to defeat them all on the same run or can you get some and repeat and get it that way?

It's cumulative.   My level 12 probably ran the event around a dozen times.   (A few times along with other lowbies)

Current strategy I'm using: solo blue, solo red, form team and trigger nemesis version. 

 

Pull boss mobs without aggroing heroes,  when LR and crew arrive take down Scorp then LR then the rest then start the blue heroes beginning with Numina.

 

Working great so far. 🙂

Strategy tip:  when you do the Nemesis part, the boss mobs are not relevant.      Fly with stealth to Posi and select the Nemesis option then fly back to the team who should all be standing on the stairs where they arrived. 

 

Commence buffing, and wait for LR and his patrons, they will charge up to you. Take them down. 

 

After that,  with some creative/stealthy sniping, go ahead and hit numina.   This will aggro link Num, Cit, Mant, Sis and Syn.   Bab, States and Lib should remain behind.

 

After that first AV group is down,  target Statesman, he and the others will come to you at the stairs.  Do this right and the other hero/villains won't engage your team.

I was on several runs with different alts with you this morning.  Super efficient using this strategy.

So, Chaos Spiel is easily awarded - you don't even have to defeat anything. You simply select the Nemesis option. Now, I wasn't paying too much attention. I was solo, and while I'd read it would be spicy, it was actually the first option I selected. (don't ask me why, lol) I met with death almost instantly. But I still got the badge. The timer was still running, so I just switched alignments and ran it as vigilante a couple of times and a rogue a few times to get the rest of the badges. 

It was indeed chaotic. An aptly named badge.

No stealth needed.  Click on Posi to get the text box, then fly back to the entrance.  Then make your choice

EDIT: @lemming explained the solution - the mission owner is required to be level 50 for this option to appear!

 

Has anyone else hit trouble getting the Nemesis version? I've completed the mission redside and blueside (and have both badges), but only get the starting two dialogue options for Positron when I run the mission.

You have to be level 50.    Also, the owner of the mission is the only one that gets the Nemesis option.

 

Other stuff found:

 

If you start the ceremony to get Down in Front.    Once you get the badge, you can click Posi and get the "What is that?" option to speed stuff along

Linger at posi too long and you are likely to be attacked so some stealth is a good thing

When you enter:

Go up to Posi and click on him

Do not click on any options

Go back to entrance

The window never closed and you can now go all hail nemesis

Small Pause, then Recluse, etc show and come right at you.

I select the nemesis option and red text will flash on screen that all are hostile towards me and will attack if they see me nearby, hence the stealth as i click him and then run away fast.

 

What's the big deal? Different experience for different players.

I'm just trying to explain that you don't select the nemesis option until you are back near the entrance.   That's why stealth isn't needed, you aren't anywhere close to them.

All alts completed.   Some of my alts have that vanity pet most of the others just soloed through the mission with ease to obtain all the badges.  5 new badges from the mission plus the 6 that were already in the game. This includes Tooth breaker badge as it is listed among the spring badges on the badge list.

What do you mean tag?  Like category?  They are "Event" badges and listed there in your list.  🙂  

 

If you ever need to know how a badge is categorized or where it is listed, you can go to your "Most Recent" list and hover your mouse over the badge, and it will show you Accomplishment, Accolade, Achievement, Day Job, Exploration, etc, etc, etc.

The tag is the internal badge identifier for example used in PopMenu LockedOption Badge options.

 

They will possibly be prefixed with Valentine as some others were.

I haven't checked for the numbers for setttitle, but I got the names from another post (Badger updates i think?)

Just quoting the one example, but  I put them in the BadgeSetList menu and it detects fine without badge_i28_ on any of them and just tested it with badge_i28 in the code block breaks it.
