Arcalian Posted March 31 Posted March 31 (edited) So yeah I'm actually playing the Power arc for the first time. I did so with the original intention of having Bobcat as a contact, and I still intend to. But here's my question. I know that you can theoretically play both sides, being loyal to on side while working the other as a "double agent". I just want to make sure I don't lock myself out of anything. Bobcat specifically. So I am about to do the last Praetor Sinclair mission, where the Loyalist choice is to take Belladonna down, the Resistance choice is to let her escape. So if I let her escape and join the Resistance, does that lock out Bobcat as a contact? Or will I still be able to do her missions? Edited March 31 by Arcalian

Scarlet Shocker Posted March 31 Posted March 31 No questions are silly. Gold side can get complicated. I believe there's some info on the HCwiki - link up top - and there are several threads relating to pathways around here so you might find a deep dive is worthwhile, especially if you have good search fu Best of proverbial wossname I neither know, nor care, what the difference between ignorance and apathy is

Snarky Posted April 1 Posted April 1 Strangely enough, from what i recall, choosing any Gold morality ending has NO effect on other contacts. The last few years I have run Gold has always been through Ouro. So these are old memories of something I did not care for. YMMV
Icono04 Posted April 1 Posted April 1 There are a few cases where a goldside contact directs you to kill an NPC who is himself a story arc contact, leading to the problem where you cannot obtain missions from Contact X because you have previously killed Contact X as part of Contact Y's story arc. There are only two such cases AFAIK, and they are only a problem if you intend to run all arcs from all contacts, Resistance as well as Loyalist. If that is the case, you can avoid all such conflicts by following this guide: https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Apparition's_Complete_Guide_to_Praetoria. There are several other such guides on this forum, but Apparition's is the one I personally prefer. YMMV and all that. If you want to be certain of being able to do Bobcat - or rather, do Bobcat's story arc - you can always do another arc after Belladonna Vetrano and choose the Loyalist ending to go back to being a Loyalist. Which is what you should do anyway, because the Resistance are filthy scum who do not appreciate how awesome life is in Praetoria and therefore want to destroy all of the Emperor's great works. All hail our Emperor Cole! 1 1
