Vard Posted Saturday at 08:26 PM Posted Saturday at 08:26 PM I'm just getting started in Homecoming and am having trouble finding some of the villains I'm supposed to defeat inside a building. They appear to be located on a floor underneath me, but I can't find stairs or any other way to get to them. Does anyone have any advice?

Can try calling out in the Help channel for someone to come assist. Heck, depending on the server and the level I could log in and help. Dislike certain sounds? Silence/Modify specific sounds. Looking for modified whole powerset sfx? Check out Michiyo's modder or Solerverse's thread. Got a punny character? You should share it.
Vard Posted yesterday at 12:47 AM Author Posted yesterday at 12:47 AM It's the weirdest thing. When CoH first launched I made it to level 30+ without any difficulty. But this has me stumped. I scoped the entire periphery of the warehouse but couldn't find any doors or staircases leading to another level. Tried asking for help in the chat, but no luck. So I keep having to start this mission over ... Ugh. Attached is a screenshot of my predicament. It appears there are villains directly below me. This is demoralizing!

Occasionally, they can get stuck in walls/floors, or the marker can be incorrect, it can also be pointing to the spawn point of a patrol. Push come to shove you send in a gm request for help. They can pop enemies out of walls or complete missions, but if it's happening repeatedly, they you might want to also report it. If you've cleared all the floors, look at your map and there should be a red arrow(s) indicating the last mob. Out of curiosity, which mission/contact is this? Edit: Most warehouses are generally a single level, though some will have freight elevators to take you to another level, like the ones in Pocket D and there a few that open freight elevator doors with stacks of boxes that you climb to get to another level. Healix Posted yesterday at 04:34 AM Posted yesterday at 04:34 AM This has happened to me so many times over the years. It is usually that they are behind something (Boxes, doors, etc.) and I run right past without seeing them. There have been times when they were up above on the girder supports in warehouses (stuck or not). At times, after I thought I had 'arrested' all of them, one or more will spawn elsewhere on the map. Everything Oubilette_Red said was spot on. Forever grateful to be back in my city!

Hiding under stairs is always a good one. Sometimes they are hidden behind stuff in the trailers full of stuff. Little nooks and crannies can hid some strays as well. But, I will agree with.... And I'll go ahead and say it, some missions have weak walls ... if you have knockback powers, you can end up knocking someone (or more) through a wall. The absolute last resort - if enemies are stuck in walls - is to put in a ticket and ask for the help of a GM. Sometimes they are on and willing to help. But I generally just rest the mission and do it again if it comes down to that. If someone posts a reply quoting me and I don't reply, they may be on ignore. (It seems I'm involved with so much at this point that I may not be able to easily retrieve access to all the notifications) Some players know that I have them on ignore and are likely to make posts knowing that is the case. But the fact that I have them on ignore won't stop some of them from bullying and harassing people, because some of them love to do it. There is a group that have banded together to target forum posters they don't like. They think that this behavior is acceptable. Ignore (in the forums) and /ignore (in-game) are tools to improve your gaming experience. Don't feel bad about using them.
