Solarverse Posted Monday at 07:31 AM Posted Monday at 07:31 AM Last I read, level 50s were immune. Apparently that is no longer true since I lost the name United States. So what's the new rule now? Solarverse Posted Monday at 07:34 AM Author Posted Monday at 07:34 AM Scratch that, found it, not sure what in the hell I did before I quit, but looks like I created a bunch of doubles and added a number 1 to the end of them. Have no clue why. It's called getting old I suppose. SFX and Music Mods by Solarverse (Consolidated) WP/EM God Mode Tank Guide and Build Help Support the Return of Missing Code for Sound Files!
MTeague Posted Monday at 07:46 AM Posted Monday at 07:46 AM Hm. Having a double with a number appended is often a sign that the name was pre-empted, but I guess as long as you do have the specified name on at least on of your characters, then all's well that ends well. 1 .

What I think I did, was remaking certain characters, but wasn't sure what I wanted to permanently name them yet...I think. Hell, who knows. All is well though. I did lose a few of my character names, but nothing I was too upset about since I have never had problems with names. I lost Drown, Police Drone, Nightrat, Aphotic, Hiss, Multiverse, Mirror and Oil Man. So I simply changed Oil Man to Oilstain, Police Drone to Police Drone 2099, Nightrat to Night Rat, Aphotic to Aphotic Fog, Hiss to Hissing Fang, Multiverse to Anotherverse, Mirror to Mirrorverse and Drown to Seaverse. I lost a few others as well, but after reading all this, I actually lost a lot, lol. More than I realized. But I pulled through okay. I call it a good recovery, heh. Mopery Posted Monday at 11:25 AM Posted Monday at 11:25 AM (edited) I've "lost names" on a number of characters I hadn't played in a year or more, which of course I don't mind because I clearly wasn't using them. No, I found the character in my long list that had the name, not the naming policy, heh. However, I went ahead and did a quick google search and found this. Tankshock Posted Monday at 10:06 PM Posted Monday at 10:06 PM Thanks, I was worried a new one had slipped by me.

Unless you're using a title (Dr., Major, Captain, etc.) it's usually a lot easier getting a good name. Back in 2005 I tried to create "Ace"...taken. Then "Barnstormer" ...taken. Tried some other stuff, and eventually entered "Ace Barnstormer". Hit, and it totally changed my outlook, and shaped his character. I cannot ever see going backwards to a singular name with him. 1

Yeah, it's nice to get the one word names, but using two words can help shape the character a bit more. I am so right there with you, Tech. ☺️ SFX and Music Mods by Solarverse (Consolidated) WP/EM God Mode Tank Guide and Build Help Support the Return of Missing Code for Sound Files!
