Do zones other than the Hollows get bonus merits after completing all the zone's contacts?

I have a faint memory of reading that if you completed all the contacts in a zone you'd get bonus merits but I've only ever managed to get those bonus merits in the Hollows. Do any other zones get that bonus?

Trying to remember all of them the ones that are coming to the top of my head right now. Rikti War Zone, Mercy Island, Dark Astoria, Atlas Park, and Grandville.

 

The two I am sketchy about is Mercy Island and Atlas Park. I think all intro acrs get you one but I cannot remember. RWZ Vanguard arc, Grandville Patrons, and Dark Astoria arcs and personal story are.

Wonderful! Thank you folks!

Croatoa was the zone I thought I completed last night and got me thinking about this but I forgot about Percy Winkley! I know where I'll be starting tonight!

Everyone forgets about Percy Winkley which is why he is constantly having to be rescued, almost as bad as Fusionette.

I think the Wiki is wrong to include Percy as needed for Story Teller (and the accompanying 20 merits).  His is a short, simple arc that gives a badge and 7 merits for not a lot of effort so I always include him after finishing the 4 main Croatoa contacts, but I'm 99% sure I get the accolade and merits after finishing Buck's missions before starting Percy's.

Do you think the KHTF is required for the bonus? I completed the 4 main contacts in Croatoa last night and did not receive a bonus but I also haven't done KH on this toon yet.

No, Katie isn't needed for the Story Teller accolade.  That tf is needed for Geas but that's a whole other matter.

 

If you have the Story Teller accolade but not the 20 merits, that's pretty surprising.  Have you checked for Story Teller?  You can also go to Ouro to see if the game considers you not to have complete one (or more) of the 4 main Croatoa contacts.

I don't think I got the Badge but I'll have to double check after work.

 

I had out leveled the zone for 1 of the contacts and did the last arc through Oro. The crystal showed the other arcs as complete so the main 4 are definitely complete. I'll start with Percy tonight and hopefully that'll get me the bonus!

Was the contact you did through our the 2nd contact in the arc, and if so, did you fail the last mission?  I seem to remember failing the "stop 30 fir bolg" in flashback does not mark the arc as complete.

If someone posts a reply quoting me and I don't reply, they may be on ignore.

(It seems I'm involved with so much at this point that I may not be able to easily retrieve access to all the notifications)

Some players know that I have them on ignore and are likely to make posts knowing that is the case.

But the fact that I have them on ignore won't stop some of them from bullying and harassing people, because some of them love to do it. There is a group that have banded together to target forum posters they don't like. They think that this behavior is acceptable.

Ignore (in the forums) and /ignore (in-game) are tools to improve your gaming experience. Don't feel bad about using them.

Oh! Son of a gun! Yes, I failed the Fir Bog mission! Dang, gotta re-do that one.

Update: Last night I completed the Percy arc, no bonus merits. Then I went back and did the arc with "Stop the Fir Bog" and completed it and BOOM! Bonus Merits!

 

I think in the Fir Bog mission you have to kill 100 Fir Bog for it to end so it took a while! I've done that mission on teams before but somehow never realized that 100 kills was the goal.

That Fir Bolg mission is a kill-all, just with a twist.  You can speed things along by going out into the field to hunt stationary mobs once you've stopped a spawn from rushing the henge.  Keep defeating for a few minutes while constantly keeping a vigilant eye for movement to the henge.  When you see them moving, drop whatever you're doing and deal with them before they reach the objective.  Repeat and until eventually, the mission ends.

I don't know about the praetoria one giving 20 extra merits, but the rest certainly do.
