The ease of use and control offered by these binds is what made the AT playable for me and led to a lot of good times. There is a brief article explaining how they work found here on the wiki. The article provides the basis of how the whole things works but only provides example bind files for Mercenaries which tends to be the least played set for the AT. Since I love Masterminds, in the month that I've been back I've rolled everything except Mercs and Ninjas (Both of which I played extensively on live!) and hand written the bind files for them. Since the work is already done, I figured I would do what I can to give back to this amazing community and post them here for everyone to use. I have attached a .rar with bind files for all sets and I have included the text from the files in the following posts for people who prefer to do it that way. I've made a couple changes from what is listed in the wiki article to make things run smoother (in my opinion). I've used the bindloadsilent command so that you will not get a bind loaded message spammed into your system chat every time you use a bind and I've also used the powexec_location me command for summoning the minions so that they will automatically be summoned adjacent to you with a single button press instead of having to click a ground target to summon them. The Basics, how to use these binds Quote The active controls can be categorized by which row the key appears on on the numpad. 1-Row and 0 : Select what pet to command 0: All Pets 1: "Minion" Pets 2: "Lieutenant" Pets 3: "Boss" Pet 4-Row : Set stance 4: Agressive 5: Defensive 6: Passive 7-Row : Issue command 7: Attack my target 8: Follow Me 9: Goto Other Keys: Summons and Upgrades / : Summon "minion" pet * : Summon "Lieutenant" pet - : Summon "Boss" pet + : Equip (First Upgrade) Enter: Upgrade (Second Upgrade) Instructions for doing things the easy way. Step 1: Create a folder in your C drive called Binds. All my bind files are written with that path in mind. If you need to use a different path you will need to edit the text files to refer to the path you have chosen. Step 2: Unzip/Unpack the MMBinds.Rar file into that folder. Step 3: Log into your mastermind and type /bindloadfile "C:\Binds\POWERSETNAME.Txt" , obviously replace POWERSETNAME with your power set of choice such as Mercs, Demons, Bots etc. The quotes are important as it will not load anything with a space (Summon Demons) if you do not use them Step 4: Go. Warlawk Posted July 17, 2019 Author Share Posted July 17, 2019 How to do things manually Should you feel the need to do things manually, it is fairly easy to do so. Step 1: Create a folder. I used C:\Binds because it's very basic and I wanted to be able to share these with my kids without needing to modify for pathing if I put it on an alternate drive that they may not have. Step 2: Create the All.txt File. This is a file that you will need for any and every power set. This allows you to issue commands to all 3 tiers of your pets at the same time. Step 3: Create four more text files. You will need one base file for your power set (Bots, Mercs, Demons etc) and then one file for each tier of pet. These are what allow you to issue commands to specific tiers of pet. The All.txt is listed below and attached, the text needed for each power set is in the posts following this one. I tried this but the camera control was clunky always so slow to turn and pan up and down. How do you handle this? It's been my experience that the MM play experience is forgiving enough that I can spare one hand or the other to issue a quick command on the numpad. The ideal alternative is to have a gaming mouse with extra buttons and assign some of those frequently used numpad keys (all, FOLLOW!) to your mouse. I've been agonizing the last week trying to get the chat commands to from other sites to work and was reluctant to start the bind file myself. Quick and easy. For me, all of the binds are working properly except the 9: Goto is not coming up with a move circle to direct my bots to. I receive a message: "Pet command failed, no matching command name." Any advice for that? I believe I may have found the issue. The file system on the forums here seems to force an underscore instead of a space in the file names. So the bind files I wrote that have a space in them (Protector Bots, Battle Drones, Assault Bot etc) now have an underscore in the file name instead of a space, while the text of the bind file still has a space. I think I'll have time to do a quick update on the files later today and replace them here so they work. Thanks for bringing this to my attention! Warlawk Posted July 28, 2019 Author Share Posted July 28, 2019 Ok, got them all updated I believe both in the binds.rar and the individual posts. I also caught a typo in beasts (apparently lions doesn't have 2 s's, who knew?). I unpacked the rar into my binds file and reloaded bots on my Robotics MM and was able to issue goto commands to all pets and to each tier individually. Should just be able to grab the new rar and overwrite your existing folder, then do a new /bindloadfile "C:\Binds\Bots.Txt" and be off to the races. If you have any other issues shout out! I think I had this thread set for notifications before but it doesn't seem to have carried over to the new forums, will correct that so I can be better about tending the thread! I use the MM binds from this thread. I know these fairly well but for other binds I would have to go to google and the wiki, and you're perfectly capable of doing that on your own. I grabbed the Demonlings.txt file from the demons post and overwrote my own file with it then tested it and I was able to send commands to all, T1, T2 and T3 without any issues. I then downloaded the binds.rar and unzipped it into my bind folder overwriting the files and did /bindloadfile "C:\Binds\SummonDemons.Txt" and was able to send commands to all tiers of pets again. I grabbed the Demonlings.txt file from the demons post and overwrote my own file with it then tested it and I was able to send commands to all, T1, T2 and T3 without any issues. I then downloaded the binds.rar and unzipped it into my bind folder overwriting the files and did /bindloadfile "C:\Binds\SummonDemons.Txt" and was able to send commands to all tiers of pets again.
