What I've gotten so far.  Don't quite have the 45% Defense I'd like to have on top of the -To-Hit.  Trying to get all the damage I could.  Wondering how much the -Resist of Slowed Response helps on a single target.

Can't open this build without a data chunk, but if you want capped defenses all you need is to get either version of Power Boost.

PB + Farsight feels like cheating. That's how good it is.

In fact, it's so easy to get great defenses with a Time/DP, that you really should consider going with a Proc heavy build to greatly improve your damage output and your -res debuff potential.

Check Proc Monsters thread and you'll find at least one great Time/DP build in there.

I did go looking through those, but I believe it liked to rely on Incarnate powers.

If it was my build, it didn't rely on incarnates. I simply showed what incarnates I used. PB + Farsight still softcapped my build.

Wanted to let you know Bopper, that you and your build inspired me to try a Time/DP.  Been testing it a little on beta server, will probably start it tonight for real.  I was surprised that things seem to proc regardless of ammo type used (so force feedbacks proc even if you aren't using lethal ammo).  That is amazing and gives DP more proc opportunities than I realized.

Looking over your build, I got to wondering.

Is Hasten needed?

If I read your PPM right.  FF: +RCH in ES looks like it would proc often.  Is it enough to make Chrono Shift Perma without Hasten?

Also, Mids looks like it the FF: +RCH causes the procs to lessen, though I thought I read that it didn't.

Is it just the slotted +RCH that effects Procs, or is it Hasten/Chrono Shift/FF Proc too?

Is Hasten needed? Maybe not. But there is nothing I could imagine replacing Hasten with. I think I only 1 slot it, and it just makes every work better (more reliable).

That is definitely a major factor for why I love Dual Pistols.

If you want to perma Farsight and Chrono Shift ... then yes.

Sure, you can rely on Force Feedback procs to "hasten" global recharge for you ... but that only lasts 5 seconds per proc and requires $Targets for you to attack.  That works fine when you're CONSTANTLY attacking $Targets, but not quite so well when you're not.

The answer to the question is really ... AND ... as in Hasten AND Force Feedback proc(s) are needed.  If you're fishing for an OR answer, you're going to be sadly disappointed ... but sometimes you just have to touch the park bench to know that the Wet Paint sign on it wasn't a lie ... no?

Build wise, I can get Farsight Perma without Hasten.  It's Chrono Shift that becomes the harder one.

However, I asked the question, because according to Mids, Hasten is reducing the damage of the procs, but so is the Force Feedback: +Recharge Proc.

So, I was just seeing if there was ways to make that less of an issue.

I'm guessing not.

Mids doesn't know how to calculate Proc probability. Hasten has no effect. You can read my PPM guide for accurate info. Mids is still ramping up with i25+ changes.
