Costume Request Thread!

So these are the only pants I can find that can reasonably allow freedom of the tail.  Any ideas?

The problem?  I never realized before that there are no matching gloves and boots!  It's "shirt" and "pants" only!

 

(L) the original Top and Bottom pieces - the only parts that truly go together.  (M) Organic Armor gloves are an adequate pairing.  (R) Organic Armor boots look terrible with this.

 

The Organic Armor gloves certainly look 'close enough' to match the style.  I would be fine with this.

 

But check out the Organic Armor boots!  They look terrible!  There's a huge seam.  It looks like she pulled on leather boots and then either the biomass grew through them or she just glued pieces onto them to look cool.  No self-respecting cosplayer would go out looking like that.

 

OK, I'm being mean.  Obv Organic Armor was not built to go with Metal so I should not judge how it looks together.  But there's nothing that is supposed to go with Metal.  I went through all the options twice looking for anything that doesn't look like she pulled on a big pair of rubber galoshes over her cool living metal suit.  The set is straight up incomplete, I can't unsee it, and it kind of makes me want to throw away the character.

 

Maybe a fashion genius out there has an idea on how to make it fit with something, anything?  Are you that genius?

 

Try Omega gloves and boots tinted the same color.

 

I find it works well enough for my tastes. Even comes in stiletto heels, which can be really hit or miss as to what is available.

I'm not seeing an issue... (and I'm staring respectfully).

 

But other than even skimpier options formed by combining belts and thongs, I don't think there is an alternative. All of CoH pants come up over what is known in scientific circles as "the round of the ass."

 

Maybe in the future we'll get "low rise leggings" which fill in the space between Disco tights shorts and leggings which allow for tail-availability without showing as much skin?
