No. The advantage of SGs now is for storage mainly, collecting alts and if desired forming a small temporary specialising team. A lot of SGs are so large that if you are an altoholic, by the time you return to a previous toon to run it again which was in somebody else's SG it will have been kicked. So not worth joining any other SG unless for a specific purpose and if you are regularly on without a break. That isn't how most play so they use SGs for utilitarian purposes as Shenanigunner says.

Been back for 5 years (nearly) where the hell have you been????? Game is much better. Easier to level, plenty of QoLs, large population. A much nicer player base than live. Access to purps. Bright future. I could go on....

Mails have been known to go missing on live - seems stable enough on HC (which is now the new live) but, one never knows.

Time manipulation is an excellent support set with excellent healing.

I predominantly level up in TFs. I have a few solo characters who are going through missions chronologically with XP earning off. I consistently play DFBs in badge mode at level 1-50. Any TF or SF is an attraction at any level. Any team in fact.

One of the things I like about this game is that I can just jump into a PUG most of the time. It's instant teaming and most teams quickly learn to adapt and overcome weaknesses. I mainly level my toons through TF's - Task Forces. The long slog I did with my first character on live all of those years a go and it took ages as I was learning the game, lore, foes, intricacies etc etc. It can be a lonely place at first but the attraction to me is the teaming. It only gets better the more I learn and even today, 18 years after I first picked up the game I still learn, it's massive. Feel free to elaborate if you wish because there is a wealth of helpful knowledge on here. But not everything is for everybody and there are a multitude of right games out there for the right player.

Aha, welcome back OTG - I remember seeing a lot of you on live.

I've found that after a short hiatus there is very little to relearn that I once was familiar with. Less played powersets require a longer learn. HC hasn't changed the game that much - everything original is still there and now with plenty more new players too. Welcome back 😄

Not sure morality side matters anymore than roleplay these days with everything being accessible at any time anyhow. As for the 'Redside/Bestside/fanboiyism' - it is a well crafted part of the game and more atmospheric than a lot of the goody-two-shoes offerings. I play the odds these days mainly with Vigilantes so that there is very little swapping going on and I get to keep my morality bonus power. Welcome back 😄

... if you could only have 1 player event - - aargh sorry -- gonna stop that right here There is nothing like Brothers - the valentine event is dependent on a character from a different alignment to complete the mission but that is probably closest to what you might mean. Also incarnate trials depend on working together and understanding the trials so as not to screw up badges. I expect you mean something like the game 'Brothers', if that is the case then no - nothing like that.

Sounds like a camera lock issue - Menu/Options/Controls - enable free camera movement.

algorithm /ˈalɡərɪð(ə)m/ a process or set of rules to be followed in calculations or other problem-solving operations, especially by a computer. I'm not sure that what YT uses is strictly an algorithm. There is no problem to solve when perusing media to watch. Not even a set of rules. The only purpose of the "algorithm" is to provoke your interest in the highest grossing financial product the platform has to offer based on your recent and historic consumption. There is no 'personality' data which describes you - it is as simple as word association - more video association to that which YT can make most money from, from you. But back on topic, that looks cool Snarky. I have a couple of AR's and they really are fun and tactical operators.

If you want to play the game - stay out of AE. ( a level 50 player asking "where is the Hollows" is known to be inferior in game knowledge) Otherwise, get to level 50 in AE in a few hours and have all the abilities you can which you have have no idea how to use nor how they work and what effect they have. Have a solo character from your 1000 character slots to run Blue, Red and Gold sides using the 'disable XP' (general) option from the menu so that you can experience a lot of the game.
