  1. One things to note is the Minotaur has different weapons. One time I was doing OK surviving, and another time he smacked me so hard I wound up on a Hami raid on a different server.
  2. So going in, no one is going to have more than +1 shift from Alpha. Enemies are level 54, often +1. When shifts happen due to either taking our a Malevont Fog or defeating enough EBs, Enemy EBs also get those shifts. Guardians are just even level with whatever. Yea, he's after You like most ambushes happen. Hmm, I wonder if we put a target icon on the Mino's prey? That may give people more warning. I'll ask in feedback. My strategy if I'm not using Beta stuff to deal with him? Run and dive into a randomizer door. Or Escape from the Fog. If you're the only one in the labyrinth and there are no level shifts, he will take you out. Stealth Wise, if you have Stealth, or anything that gets you past the effective invisible. Blue, Red, and Yellow are pretty safe. Green and Purple have the Rikti Drones and Rularu Eyeballs. And not quite great stealth works fairly well, but there are a few mobs such as Resistance that do have plusses. There are a few other things to watch out for such as a gladiator deciding to fight when you're too close to a big mob.
  3. I swear I find Citadel needs more TT than Quarterfield. That bopping back and forth is annoying. And I did have one instance of the second mission being in a different door. That confused the team so badly.
  4. Sorry Unknown Magi. That was probably me. I was checking the Mino's spawning the gladiators when being knocked down in HP quickly (like if a league ganked him) He definitely was having an issue with finally summoning the gladiators so that he could be defeated. (Took almost ten minutes of me running around avoiding him smushing me before he stopped stomping and finally summoned) Wonder if we could get a reset button in the lobby like the adamaster summon. (it actually just pings Cobalt...) Oh, and I did get a helping gladiator yesterday. First time. Sadly, he ran into a spawn and evaporated.
  5. Seems like decent feedback to me, but I'm inclined to agree. I think there are some mechanics being worked on about that. We'll see how it works out.
  6. Just the Alpha shift, like RWZ and Hami. The other shifts apply to everyone and when you enter, you are level 50 even if outside, you're 45.
  7. Yep. Some of the stuff that people complain about not being done, are being worked on, just not ready for testing on open. I'm happy with the current scope of what is on beta since there's only so much time you can spend on testing. Heck, I spent hours yesterday almost the entire time in the labyrinth and only scratched the surface. In the year I've been able to access closed beta, there's a lot of proposals, some pan out, some sit and bake for a bit. The Ashling arc is one of those. (Remote bomb took how long before being in a release?) One thing I've liked is how much the devs have listened to the testers. Both closed and open so far. (Yay, no more spikey insta death, etc...)
  8. Thinking some more, I often will figure out, what shortcuts are available. There are a ton of different routes between zones. 1) Trains, in zone, they don't even slow you down with a loading screen 2) Various helicopters, especially the PvP ones 3) Pocket D shortcut 4) Ouro 5) Tunnels 6) Even those actual connections... 7) Superbase portals I used to collect all the plaques and exploration badges for stat accolades, sometimes in one go (lets not derail on why for now), and the routing paths I worked out would take various connection methods into account. For example: finishing up brickstown by grabbing the last bits while going into IP Do some of south IP, pop into Terra Volta, then continue IP and depending on mood, finish by entering Steel, or finish by popping into the far north smuggler sub. I really need to finish working on some projects. I have most of the way points and was going to run a routing algorithm on it. (and yea, even accounting for some of those tunnel badges...)
  9. I turn on the private as well. I think I've only reported one person via that years ago, but it's a useful tool. I mostly log everything because sometimes it's "What the heck just killed me?" and I don't want to scroll chat, but I can look it up easy enough with a quick grep
  10. They did update it to 64 which is not as simple as it sounds.
  11. Not sure if this is that useful: Door at [-2865.0 -422.1 2029.9] leads to Door at [-2869.0 -422.1 1725.0] which is 101 yards away in a straight shot, same map. And looks like they both lead to each other.
  12. I like this. I've been asked a lot while running thru the lab about them. Motes might benefit from this too.
  13. Depends on the mood, but it's usually if I have to zone somewhere. And how long I'm going to be playing. If I'm just doing a mission before something else either with a different char or outside the game, i'll hit MT
  14. Looks like it's still possible to mess the timing of the Minotaur's gladiator's summoning. Granted, I'm doing this via the Beta attack power, but if the HP drops fast enough he won't spawn the gladiators. (I think he will, IF you run around long enough, but I think you have to let him regen back HP, then drop some again) Based on how Cole bugs out occasionally on the Magesterium raid if the League takes him down too fast, pretty sure a league could do this without beta help. (I also think this may show a possible diagnosis of the Cole problem)
  15. I'll have to recheck, but iirc the Fog scales up its resistance due to level shifting. What about scaling resistance based on how many chars are in it's vicinity, maybe start it slightly lower than current and top off at 75% - 90%?
  16. Thanks to guidance, got all seven motes and became worthy. However, going thru the black portal I got a black screen Then after a bit, my screen came back and I had a view of the portal and I could click on stuff, but nothing happened. No movement ability. Also, no body shown. My teammates went by and I saw their auras. Then a few more minutes, I freed up. I haven't figured out what may trigger it. All of us hit the bug, but did free up after a bit. But sometimes could go thru.
  17. Yea, I'd go visit a different trainer. On the plus side, you can beat him up in Max's arc.
  18. I'm not entirely on board with this because just because someone says "Hey, what about this?" doesn't mean that it hasn't already been suggested by someone else. heck, it may have been in slow development already.
  19. One door I totally missed that someone else found was in a ceiling area. Cobolt is one sneaky bastich
  20. You certainly found the motes faster than me, and I've been looking for them. Thanks for the directions
  21. Fight the mino, get them down some health and he ports everyone around to it. More chaos and after you beat him, profit!
  22. I know there's some change in the works and for some reason I think the HC Wiki was being moved to new hardware instead of being running out of a garage. Hence why the wiki has been locked down. Other than that speculation, I know nothing.
  23. Once you beat the Minotaur, a white swirl on the ground will take you to the core. Then grab the history plaques in the core which if you have the other badges will complete the "Conqueror of the Labyrinth" accolade. Then you can port to the Core from the lobby. Also, you can get to the Arena from the Core via the White Portal
  24. They can explore fairly easy if they have stealth, though recognizing which mobs have extra perception helps. To really make any sort of progress in beating up mobs, teams recommended. Think of it like going for the exploration badges in The Hive.
  25. I think originally, the game timeline progresses along with the character's level. However, that doesn't track very well. I like someone's idea, we're all trapped in a time bubble circa 2012. And while it's a different universe, you can also get a bit from Praetorian Hami via the Number Six arc.
