I'm super good with it. I found new characters I never knew I had in me. I have retooled some characters and I have even fallen out of love with some. Embrace the change! Force brain plasticity by experiencing the new!

One of my best memories in game was coming out of a mission door and there were seven players all in their SG uniform, all standing by the door waiting for hte 8th to show. It was awesome to see a TEAM, all in I believe blue and white, with the same logo on each persons chest. Good luck with it Lavitz

I would have to say I ran into some really nice folks last night doing Hollows missions. Amazing how many people still want to be in character in a mish. Also amazing how many people still wanna take that punk Frostfire down. Also ALSO amazing how interesting a Sentinel can stand in middle of mobs and not die like a normal blaster. Curiously STRONG indeed. *punches the red button on a machine at the counter and watches as it dispenses a cup full of Altoids.

Yah you don't want to try and run with minimum or close to minimum. Some mishes in TF's require like click on four things at once (I'm looking at you Dr. Quarterfield). Be ashamed to spend four hours (I'm looking angrily at you DR. Quarterfield and not have enough people to complete the mish or be able to add more because it's a Task Force.

Oh me too. I have a character concept then RP around it. Mostly it's just flavor dressing in combat maybe a little outside it. I think I am past really indepth plots and char development, mostly because i just can't keep all that data in my head anymore. 2015 was a rough year. So light hearted and superficial is the best I can do now an it works for me.

And I almost forgot, the Praetorian starting area. Crap that's kinda two to four -ish arcs depending if you are going loyalist or resistance or betraying to loyalist or resistance. I have only done one arc so don't know how much they differ. I get it, I had numerous 50's by game end and with a select few folks could get leveled up really quickly. Having access to millios of INF and someone who could make IO's at any level made leveling really really easy. Also, I didn't forget AE FARM. But logging into a mish with a full group at max level for a run of multi ambushes of easy mobs seems horribly dull. Worse than runnign DFB over and over. However, there are some AE mishes that I would like to try now that things seem to be settled? (yes no maybe?)

So much so it seemed at times that was all people were asking for, yes I know, observer bias. So I thought I might mention there are a lot of alternatives at lower levels. Your Origin initial quest giver inside City Hall, i.e. Azuria if you are magic in the M.A.G.I. Matthew Hanaby just to the left of city hall steps if you are standing under Atlas Statue. His story arc is quite good. The TwinShot missions are pretty good, would love to run through them with a group. Dr. Graves on Villain side are good too. Get to meet Sirocco, he's so dreamy. The David Wincott missions in The Hollows, eventually lead to taking on Frostfire who was one of the first bad dudes you fought way back when. Radio Mishes and then bank and mayhem mishes. Perez Park street cleaning. Those Skuls and Hellions aren't gonna clean themselves. Perez Park Hydra (tater men) cleaning. The ORIGINAL xp farm, like week one of go live in 2004, there were calls to join up and kill tater men in Perez park lake. It was all the rage. :) [*] <----I don't even know. I am sure there are others. Anyways just wanted to remind folks or to let new folks who are playing there is more to COH than DFB. NOTE* This is not meant for folks who know all this and want to get to 50 endgame. HAPPY GAMING ALL!

Can confirm. Nekoali does awesome RP! I'm happy to see folks out and about doing 'teh rpeas' in public. Numerous instances of folks in Kings Row chatting in character around Blue Steel. Several in mishes as well. And there is someone who runs mishes and tfs in character on both hero and villain side. Its gloriously awesome!

Closest I have to 50 is my 32 water storm defender. I don't think I'm a huge help against the Fruit Salad Lord. After that I have several tweeners.

Unless I have been introduced I usually ignore character names but leave them on for ooc purposes. I'll call someone Tall Lady or Red or Moody Joe if I'm on as one type of character or actually ask them their name if on another.

Swimsuit Hami raids were a thing on Virtue so I am game. WHEN I get a level 50. Which might be a while. The altitis is strongk.

I used to do that all the time. Especially if someone had a awesome bio for their character. A good bio could net you an easy 200k for sure. :)
