  1. I haven't encountered that problem, though Sunbow does have 1.54x accuracy and the kismet bonus. Also I don't get why this thread gets more attention than the aggro changes. Running a hero mission and finding that's the real blaster smiter. Two mobs in close proximity to each other? Bring your insps.
  2. So, mobs I didn't solo at +4/x8 on my blasters to begin with. My DP/Fire had nearly no problems at all with them. My Rad/Atomic did, but she was down to 41 S/L due to Beta Decay fix which means she was taking nearly double the hits she was used to. Again, not much did change there. I'll see how Malta do on hero missions next, I'll prioritize Gunslingers after the initial nuke.
  3. Farming also creates inf. If farming does decrease, then less IOs and less inf mean less supply and demand. That's a wash in market prices.
  4. I got to checking out Bamboo Kat's. I'm not sure I'd have any large RP gatherings there given its size, but I do enjoy the vibe! Also: Who is Bamboo Kat and when do we get to meet them?
  5. I may have to re-make Starwave, though I'll miss her bringing her own band. This sounds fun.

  7. Love the new Fort Trident and that pretty much everyone's inside. The NPC interactions are pretty fun too. XD Only issue: The lone entrance that works is on the north side. The west side with the big FREEDOM CORPS sign doesn't work, that'll cause a bit of confusion.
  8. General feedback: I see where y'all are headed with these changes, and I'm hyped. More endgame stuff and we might start growing players again.
  9. I took it a bit cautious with my rad armor tank, but I wound up jumping in on all three spawns in the lower office level. It was glorious.
  10. Between the AE changes, the new incarnate content, and the new rewards, the devs are making a concerted effort to get players into actual in-game endgame content. If you want to see fresh new blood in this game, this is one good way to get it.
  11. I brought over my S/L/E capped DP/Fire blaster since I didn't want to waste an hour respec-ing. I had her run a Council radio at +4/x8, didn't have problems beyond having to be more careful with aggro, and only faceplanted at the end when I got too cocky and tried the boss spawn with half of another. Yeah, I don't think the defense changes are changing much.
  12. Two things I found out in testing: The new aggro rules are going to be more of a problem than defense changes. Attracting attention from two spawns can be bad. I'm going to have to figure out a respec now that I don't get Siphon Insight's bonsues in Beta Decay. 😛
  13. I'm waiting on EOD here to give this a test run, but I really don't see that big a deal for when I do a Council run on my blaster. Other groups, well, I didn't solo those with her to begin with.

  15. It is what it is and bless the devs for all they've done but they don't have nowhere near the resources mainstream MMOs have. What y'all should be recruiting for are more content creators for the dev team.

  19. Hard mode drama will be a thing, but honestly this is how it should be done and I am optimistically curious to try it myself.

I feel the comparison of level shifting to blasting Skulls in Atlas Park doesn't match my experiences when my fully IO'd & level shifted characters keep having to chew insps and still occasionally face plant in max difficulty missions. Maybe I'm the odd duck who takes on maxed outed Malta, Carnies, and DA mobs with blasters or stalkers for funsies, but not everything is bowling for Council.
  21. Which is better for the long-term health of the game: Nerfing existing content or creating new content that one can flex their endgame powers with?
